Her Past Wouldn't Let Her Go

Feng Xiao Qing didn't care about the police line that marked the place as an accident scene that wasn't supposed to be crossed by bystanders. When she was sure that no one was around, she quickly jumped over the police line easily and sadly looked the remnant of her house. It was a small house, but it contained the memory of her and Xiao Xi Xi.

She tried to find something that probably could be saved, but there was nothing left --- not a single thing! Feng Xiao Qing carefully looked at the house's situation. Feng Xiao Qing searched slowly and just like what the report had said --- it was indeed arson. She wasn't a pro but she was able to detect fire accelerants remnant there. Even the dumbest people would know that someone was trying to kill her or at least, they were trying to warn her that they had found her.

Luckily, Xiao Xi Xi went along with her to the audition. She couldn't imagine what would have happened if she was here. Feng Xiao Qing shuddered at the thought, knowing that she had to get her revenge and eradicate her enemies. Otherwise, Xiao Xi Xi's life would also be in danger.

"Damn!" She cursed softly. She had a gut feeling that she would have to involve herself to her past once again.

Feng Xiao Qing had been trying so hard to start a clean slate when she had Xiao Xi Xi, but it seemed like the past wouldn't let her go. "Qin... Lang... both of you can come out now," Feng Xiao Qing said in a stern tone. She already told them not to follow her, but they are so stubborn!

Two men came out from behind the thick bushes and smiled sneakily. "He-he... Boss... how come you know that we are following you?" Qin asked.

Feng Xiao Qing scrutinized the Qin -- the pretty boy with a cheery look which reminded her a bit of Zi Hao. Only Qin was shorter and went with the cute boy look. He's as pretty as a girl, but also ruthless. Beside Qin, Lang stood aloofly. His face was the exact copy of Qin, showing that they are indeed twins. However, their personality couldn't be more different. One is hot and one is cold. As long as she could remember, they are always like that.

"You know why! All of this time, I know that both of you never leave my side. I'm the one who teaches you martial arts, but I never know that both of you really waste my time. Both of you can't even cover your presence stealthily," Feng Xiao Qing said harshly.

Qin and Lang looked down when they were being reprimanded, but they knew from the twinkling in her eyes, she was half joking and half serious. They kinda miss being scolded by her. Since she went AWOL for Xiao Xi Xi, their group wasn't the same as before. They finally found out where she was last week and now... she's been attacked. It seemed like they brought troubles to her. They felt guilty but still... they didn't regret it. At least, they could see the face that they had missed for more than four years.

Feng Xiao Qing asked them seriously, "Do you know anything about this arson?"

Qin and Lang nodded. "We know," They answered at the same time.

Feng Xiao Qing rolled her eyes, knowing that their twin bond was indeed very strong. They had always been like this and she knew that she also misses them. The three of them were the closest back then. Well... more like, they kept following her around. Even when she kicked them around, they were still coming back like a lost puppy.

"Tell me more about it," Feng Xiao Qing demanded. She had a gut feeling who the perpetrators were, but she hadn't been in contact with their group for so long. Thus, she didn't know a lot about the latest news regarding their circle.

Lang sighed and asked her, "You should have coming back with us. Why do you choose the hard life by working yourself to death every day?"

Feng Xiao Qing just laughed at them and waved her index finger from left to right back and forth. "No... no... no... I want to give Xiao Xi Xi a healthy life and I won't regret my decision." She indeed likes her current life, because she gets to live in peace.

"But you abandoned us," Qin mumbled, but Feng Xiao Qing was able to hear it. Because of that, she felt guilty. She could see the disappointment on Qin and Lang's eyes, but she knew that if the time was turned back once again, she would still choose the same thing.
