Sinopse

Legend has it that there existed two gods, Aurora and Umbra. Together the two gods created a great empire but, with the creation of the empire came a great discord between the two gods. Aurora wanted light to reign whilst Umbra wanted darkness to reign. Thus, the empire split in two, the kingdom of light and a kingdom of dark. A great battle was fought between light and dark which left Umbra trapped into an unmovable crystal, and Aurora missing. Years had gone by and the two kingdoms were still engaged in war against each other. However, as the years passed Umbra had recovered from her battle with Aurora and with her regained power she started to influence her kingdom. With her influence the kingdom of light was on the verge of collapsing until, a pivotal piece of information was obtained. The kingdom of light had sent their champions on a journey to recover the power of their lost god and put an end to Umbra. The champions fought their way deep into the territory of dark until only one, was left alive. Hope for the kingdom of light became bleak. However, the betrayal of an assassin would prove to be fatal for the kingdom of dark. This, is the story of an assassin, rumoured to be able to foretell the future, had saved the kingdom of light, in what become would become his greatest failure.

[WARNING: MATURE CONTENT] "I will have you, no matter what." ______________________ Princess Luciana Marshall Crowther, of Leukov, is decidedly a lady. She is well spoken, knows when to lower her eyes and even took some specialized knowledge in seduction from the maids. Then why was her husband so cold and ignorant towards her? Hadn’t she fulfilled all the criteria of an eligible wife? Church bells had rung and vows had been taken, yet he declined to even sleep with her. Not very pleased with her current disposition, Lucia takes every stride to win the cold and stoned heart of her beloved, Shadow Emperor. Until the citizens of Rhylian Empire decide to burn down their unworthy Empress and the demons behind the wall tear her into pieces. Even if she did live through that, how would she survive the past-ignited hatred, behind the numb darkness of the Shadow? *************************** Pursuing a misogynistic Emperor and proving herself of being a worthy Empress might lead her to the darker abyss of secrets and realms she had never even imagined in her dreams. Blood would be shed, sinned or not and alliances questioned. When shattered hearts would be at stake, the question will arise Is Everything really fair in Love and War? ************************************* Excerpt “Why?” He moved even more closer, making her back hit the hedge. Now she was trapped under him. Not like she wanted to run away in the first place. But the way he challenged her, it did not feel very assuring of his good intentions, in the least. “You ask why? Why not? I am married to you. Even if that marriage was nothing for you, even if those vows you spoke had nothing in them, they are everything…to me. I did not marry you just for an alliance. I married you because I wanted to bond with you. Start a family.” “Family?” He gave out a sardonic chuckle that confused her. “There is no family, Lucia.” He spoke her name after a long time. It rolled off his tongue so smoothly that it even shocked him. Focus, Erebus! “We are not a family. We never will be. Never. Ever. Listen carefully now.” He pointed at her with his index finger. “You are a just the exchange of this deal. Nothing more. You hear me? Nothing more. So don’t get your expecta—” His mouth stopped as his eyes witnessed tears cascading down his wife’s beautiful eyes. No matter how much she thought she was strong, it was never enough to take in the difficult words that he spoke. And the worst was…how much his eyes resonated what he said. And that gave her the picture. He was telling her the truth. She was just the key to win the war that was falling on all of them. Nothing more. A Thread of Broken Fate

“You can bring back everyone you’ve lost. It will only cost your sanity.” The king is dead, murdered by an interloper from the future—a manic copy of his own son, hellbent on forcibly reversing a disastrous timeline. The true Damian Roswald—a hedonistic crown prince bereft of magical talent—finds his comfortable life upended by his father’s murder and assassins from his own future. “There are none left who can judge us, so we must be our own executioner. That is the cursed fate of those few named Damian Roswald.” With politicians plotting his demise, his royal cousins scheming for the empty throne, and warring churches tearing the grieving city apart, Damian must accept the tragedy of his countless futures—or else, find himself doomed to repeat them. But can a mere mortal decide their own fate in a world governed by almighty angels? “Find me, Damian Roswald. And I’ll tell you why the stars fell.” For three centuries, even the wisest men have accepted that the night sky was once populated by ‘stars’—until a terrible calamity plunged mankind into a Dark Age. From the darkness, the Roswalds rose to power, but few know that the first crown was forged with the blood of a slaughtered god… Damian must endure countless tragedies and the consequences of his own future actions to reach the peace he desires—but could the true threat be hiding not in his future, but in his own distant past? **Join our Discord and never miss a chapter!! https://discord.gg/M5cTyzW44Q**
