Shadow POV

Six Years Later

I opened my eyes, letting the morning take in before turning over to see Bellamy sound asleep. I couldn't help but smile, seeing how peacefully he slept away. These past seven years have been so peaceful. "Morning..." Bellamy smirked as he rolled onto his side and faced me. His eyes fluttered open. "Last night was amazing," I tell him as he wraps his hand around my thigh and pulls my leg over his waist. "You say that about every night" He chuckled as I take in his sandalwood scent. Suddenly, as I was lying there next to the man I felt my stomach began to turn and I felt acid in my throat bubble up. "Oh...no" I whispered. Bellamy knit his brows together "What's wrong?" He asked me. I felt my stomach turn again and I shot up as I felt the liquid in my throat and I run to the bathroom. I quickly opened the toilet seat and crashed my knees onto the floor and my stomach emptied itself into the toilet, puking up anything I had eaten last night. "Babe?" I heard Bellamy call out from the door. "Don't come in here!" I shouted before puking once again. "Really? With everything we've seen, you think a little puke is gonna chase me away?" Bellamy chuckled as he sat next to me on the floor. "Monty's damn algae has really got my stomach all messed up" I sighed as I wiped my mouth. "You think after all this time he would've figured it out" Bellamy joked back, causing us to both laugh. "Ugh...I need to brush my teeth" I groaned before flushing the toilet and then standing to my feet. Bellamy follows as I take out my toothbrush and clean the puke from my mouth. Soon as I was finished Bellamy wrapped his arms around me from behind and placed a soft kiss on my neck. My eyes fluttered shut as I let out a soft moan "We might have a little bit before we have to meet the others" Bellamy hinted, suggesting to give ourselves a little time to one another. I turned on my heel and faced him, wrapping my arms around his neck and gazing into his brown eyes. His facial hair is grown out and he needs a haircut as well. "I love you Shadow" Bellamy whispered as he kissed me tenderly. "I love you too Bell" I say, letting our pleasures take over.

I watched as Echo and Raven were sparring in the dining hall. Going back and forth just to keep our minds sane. I glanced over my shoulder to see Bellamy staring out the window at Earth. It should be about time to go back. Every day we fought to survive down there and somehow I missed it. I missed the smell of the air and just before it rained you would feel it. The sun shines when it hits your face. "Soups on!" Monty called out. The moment he said soup my stomach began to turn. "Do I really have to eat Monty's food?" I asked Bellamy who chuckled. "Come on, you need to get something in your system" He suggested to me. Suddenly Rave gets Echo down and makes her tap. "Ah! Yes! Finally!" Raven cheered. "I let you win so we could eat" Echo rolled her eyes. "This isn't eating, it's surviving" I corrected Echo. "Hey, the new and improved Triple-G taste better and you know it" Monty narrow his eyes at me as we all sat down at the table. "And if by better you mean it doesn't make you wanna hurl?" I questioned. "Are you still puking?" Raven asked me. "I'll be fine...I'm okay" I giggled a bit. "Speaking of green how's Eden?" Monty asked Bellamy who sits next to me. "Still just a dot" Bellamy informed Monty. "I think we all can agree that green is good" Monty says as he pour bowels. "Yes he is" Harper flirted with him before kissing his lips sweetly. "But this stuff still sucks" Harper added. "Bottoms up" Monty smirked before we all take a drink of our soup and the moment the algae hit my taste buds I wanted to puke it all back up. I gulp it down, trying not to think about the horrible taste in my mouth. "Okay...tomorrow I'll try again to boost the signals from the antenna" Raven tells everyone. "Shotgun! Spacewalk" Emori exclaimed. "I need someone who will listen when I tell them to come back" Raven tells Emori. "Or we could just figure out a way to get to the ground and we can all tell them about Eden ourselves?" Bellamy suggested. "Bellamy she worked on the fuel problem all morning" Emori stated. "It's been six years and seven days" Bellamy reminded us. "Hey, Time voiolation" Harper says. "Dishes, Latrine or Murphy. You choose" Harper stated. Bellamy let out a sigh "I'm sorry. We said we wouldn't talk about it. And I know you're doing everything you can" Bellamy tells Raven who nodded her head. Bellamy grabbed my head as he passes the bowls over to Monty. "Seconds?" He asked Bellamy. "Yeah right, I choose Murphy" Bellamy chuckled as he pulled me along with him.

Bringing Murphy food we walked down the hall when Murphy suddenly jumped out at Bellamy. "Murphy! Knock it off!" I called out, yelling at him. "This is my side of the ship, remember?" He asked us as I begin to try to shove Murphy off Bellamy. "What's that matter? You wanted to train right?" Murphy asked Bellamy. Suddenly Bellamy slammed Murphy into the wall and they both started panting. "Alright but if I win you have to come back to the group" Bellamy offered him. "No deal, too many rules. Besides, there's nobody to disappoint over here" Murphy pointed out as he stood to his feet. "Murphy--" Suddenly he punched Bellamy in the face and when I went to rush towards Murphy Bellamy grabbed a hold of me, stopping me. "No..." Bellamy chuckled. "That was a good punch" Bellamy tells Murphy. "Yeah?" Murphy asked him. But when you shift your weight when you throw it, it might actually hurt" Bellamy taunted him. "You two are unbelievable, I'm out of here" I scoffed before walking away from Bellamy and Murphy. "hey...there you are" Raven says, walking up to my side. "What's up?" I asked Raven. "Health check, come on" Raven stated as she wrapped her arm in mine and we walked to medical together.

We got into medical and Raven began to check me out. "When was your last period?" Raven asked me. Just when I was about to say that I didn't know Bellamy called out to us. We rushed out of medical and over to where Bellamy is guiding us to the tech room and we saw out of the big huge window that a ship is hovering in space. We waited to see if anything happened and as I clung onto Bellamy's arm Murphy sighed. "It's been two and half hours, why are we sitting here in the dark?" He asked us all. "We should light up the ring and let them know we're here" Murphy suggested. "Quiet, Murphy" I hissed out, narrowing my eyes at him. "First we should find out who they are. Then we ask for help" I stated. "Raven?" Bellamy called out. "Nothing, radio silence,," Raven tells us as she's on the comms. "The ship either could have comms disabled or the ship is unmanned" I suggested to everyone. "Or it's manned by aliens who like anal probs over radio" Murphy pointed out. "doesn't really matter as long as they get us on the ground" Murphy added. "I'm turning on the lights" He stated. "No! You're not" I got in front of him. "That's enough of your shit Murphy! We make choices as a team here even if you can't stand to be in the same room" I hissed out at him. "Look, all I'm saying is. It wasn't there yesterday now it's in geosynchronous orbit, which means someone is piloting it, correct?" Murphy suggested. "Yeah, or it could be an AI" I pointed out. "I prefer the aliens" Monty confessed. I stared out the window and I knit my brows together to see something leaving the ship. "Something is happening" I pointed out. "A second ship?" Harper gasped. "It must be a transport" Raven stated. "It's headed for the ground," I tell everyone. "Emori and Raven, fire up the radio" I ordered her. "Now she wants to talk..." I heard Murphy mumble. Raven and Emori went over to the radio. "Mayday, Mayday. I'm hailing the dropship now to reentry to Earth. We are stranded aboard the space station to your west" Raven says over the radio. "Please, respond" Raven added. We all waited, watching as the ship kept descending to earth. "Great, looks like we just lost our last chance to get back to the ground" Murphy groaned. "Mayday, Mayday! I'm calling the dropship now on reentry to Earth" Raven stated again. My stomach turned and I felt like I was going to puke but I pushed the feeling down.

"Are we really doing this?" I asked as Bellamy and I were packing our things in our room. "It's the best option we have, They have food on board and who knows what else" Bellamy pointed out. "I know..." I let out a sigh. "What's wrong?" Bellamy asked me. knitting his brows together in worry. "I just..." I paused. "It's peaceful here...We have our own little world up here" I pointed out. "Come on, Shadow. You can't tell me you don't want to be back on the ground" Bellamy stated. "Our people are down there" He added, reminding me that my father and mother could still be a live. "Yeah? Is this the part where you tell me that my father and my mother will be dying to see me?" I questioned. "I get it, You never got to say--" I cut him off. "How am I supposed to face them? Huh?" I questioned. "After leaving Clarke to die down there? How the hell am I supposed to tell them that I closed the rocket door and left my sister to die?" I asked, tears forming at my water line. Bellamy rushed over to me, wrapping his arms around me tightly. "I thought we've dealt with this?" He asked me as I sobbed in his chest. "We have but...I'm weak" I confessed. "What?" Bellamy knit his brows together. "Shadow, you're the strongest person I know" he informed me. "Look" Bellamy sat me down on the bed, gazing into my eyes. "I know you're scared, I am too but as long as we are together. Nothing can hurt us" He stated. I thought for a moment "What....What if my parents hate me for what I did?" I asked him. "They will understand that it was the best thing to do to survive" Bellamy pointed out. "Are you with me?" Bellamy asked me like he did six years ago. "You know I'm always with you" I smirked a little.

Bellamy walked down the hall with me. passing by Raven and Murphy. "You're going the wrong way!" Raven called out to us. "Final sweep. We'll be right behind you" I informed Raven as we walked to Echo's room. "Wait here..." I tell Bellamy before walking towards Echo's door to see her holding a soward. "Wouldn't it be easier to just step outside?" I joked with her I heard her chuckle before turning and looking at me. "What are we gonna be now, Shadow?" She asked me. "Look..." I stepped towards her took the sword from her hands and set in on her bed. "Nothing is going to change on the ground..." I try to tell her. "I wish that were true" She sighed. "Come on Echo, we've kept each other alive...All of us" I reminded her. "We're family and nothing can change that" I added. "I'm still banished. What if Octiava tries to--" I cut her off, shaking my head. "She won't." "You do remember I almost tried to kill her? And you? Many times" Echo reminded me. "You're right...you're screwed" I joked, causing her to chuckle. "Octiava will understand, she will forgive you too" I tell her. "Shadow...It took you three years" Echo sighed. "Well...I'm a lot more stubborn that Octiava" I joked, causing her to laugh again. Echo had become almost like my best friend in the last Six years. "Good, trust me. Whatever we run into down there. Bellamy sister will be the least of our worries" I informed her before I began walking out of her room and over to Bellamy. Echo follows us down the hall "Good job" Bellamy stated before kissing my forehead. "I just hope I'm right" I whispered to him.
