Kaede walked in a calm manner towards the arena, as if not even taking Kin seriously.

Kin on the other hand... was also not taking Kaede seriously, dude what did Orochimaru feed these three gennins for them to be so confident... you know what? being Orochimaru I am better off not knowing it

"Ready?" The proctor asked seeing that none of the two was going to say anything before the match

Receiving a nod from both he begun the fight

"Begin"

Kin as overconfident as she was, wasn't going to wait for Kaede to do something, especially since her opponent was an Uchiha and probably had good genjutsu and long range ninjutsu capabilities.

She quickly threw 5 senbons with bells tied to them and 5 more behind, this is her main attack, her opponents only pay attention to the senbons they can hear and get hit by the others, she would layer a sound based genjutsu on this as well but against a uchiha with an open sharingan she knew it would be useless.

Kaede picked a kunai from her pouch ([stomach]) and deflected every senbon aimed at her, since some where supposed to cut her escape routes off they didn't need to be deflected... yet

Kin grinned thinking that she once again got her target with this trick, using almost invisible wires she made the senbons change their trajectory towards Kaede

Kaede took another kunai out and in one fluid move deflected all the senbons once again

"Her movement seemed so... right? I don't know how to describe it" Asuma commented, but he still had in mind Kakashi's possible mind reading skills.

"I know what you mean, but her moves are too... perfect, they don't have even a slightly error and inefficiency on them, she deflected every attack without wasteful moves and without moving..." Guy, the taijutsu specialist, said

"sigh~ are all of you dumb?" Kakashi asked surprising all the jonins

"What do you mean Kakashi?" Kurenai who was the less affected person, asked

Kakashi pointed to his covered eye

"The sharingan. Like me, Kaede's sharingan is always active and she sees the world in a different way than you all"

The doubt about Kaede's impressive movements cleared out from their heads in a instant.

"...Isn't that dangerous as well?" The ever so sensible Guy asked

"Indeed it is extremely dangerous, can you imagine living your day in slow motion? and never being able to forget even a single thing you ever saw?

and that is not even taking into account the massive chakra drain the sharingan have, though Kaede doesn't seem too affected by it, since she isn't a full blood uchiha, her chakra consumption can be almost as high as mine.

All of that is dangerous even for me, imagine for a 13 years old?..." Kakashi finished the sentence with a pitiful voice, though no one knows if the pity is aimed at Kaede or himself

"...I can't even imagine how hard it must be for her..." Kurenai said while looking towards Kaede again

Meanwhile, the person tormented by a sharingan was almost dying of boredom from Kin's attacks

'Ahh man, the sharingan is just too good against weak people, I can see every single move, every single trick, even predict her moves... so boring, let's end this"

Kaede deflected one more wave of senbons and rushed out, but before she reached Kin, Kin heard footsteps behind her

'Did this idiot think I would fall for such stupid trick?' Ironically was what Kin thought, calling herself stupid by mistake

Suddenly she felt a sharp pain on her right and left shoulders, but the attack didn't come from the front as the Kaede she saw wasn't close enough, neither did it come from behind (A/N: ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ) Since the footsteps were too far from reach distance

Kin looked at both sides and saw no one, she only saw a shuriken embedded in each of her shoulders.

Not one that knows when to give up, Kin jumped at the Kaede in front of her in a desperate move

Kaede sights and mocks Kin

"Don't you know when to give up?"

Kin annoyed by her words tried to jump to kick her... but tripped

What no one noticed is that she tripped because a bit of iron powder that discreetly wrapped her feet

Kin's face stopped centimeters away from one of her senbons that Kaede deflected earlier, just some centimeters more and she would be dead

Kaede puts a foot above Kin's head while holding the wire that keeps her from falling in her hands

"Do you give up?"

The proctor didn't need Kin to give up and quickly decided to end the match, one death today was enough

"Winner: Kaede Uchiha"

Kin got up and stared at Kaede, her pride hurt she decided to say some bs

"Next time, you will be the one begging for mercy"

Kaede looked at her as if she was stupid (Spoiler, she is)

"Are you jo Kin?" 'Orochimaru is going to use you as a Edo tensei sacrifice, there won't be a next time'

"You!" Gritting her teeth but unable to do anything, Kin left the arena furious
