TERROR OF ILLUSIONS:Uchiha's Legacy

Konoha, a week before the night of genocide, in a house in the Uchiha territory. Uchiha Kai was holding a regular katana with a simple green hilt.

"Finally, after 14 years of relentless training, I have managed to activate the Shikai of my Zanpakuto," Uchiha Kai muttered to himself. Uchiha Kai was a reincarnated person from planet Earth, 14 years old this year. He was born with Kyoka Suigetsu in his mental plane. He trained hard for nearly 14 years, learning many sword techniques and styles from the Uchiha clan. He was known as a genius of the Uchiha, along with both Shisui and Itachi.

Uchiha Kai had read many fanfics about Naruto in his previous life, so from his memory, he knew the approximate date of the night of genocide. "What's going on, Uchiha Kai?" Itachi inquired, eyeing the emblem on Kai's shoulder.

Kai took out the Zanpakuto from his waist and put it upside down in front of Itachi. Suddenly, Uchiha Itachi, who was standing there, activated his Sharingan and took out a Kunai, speaking, "What are you trying to pull off here?"

Uchiha Kai looked at Itachi unbothered and spoke, "Shatter Kyoka Suigetsu." Itachi was really vigilant after hearing this. He thought Kai was going to use some sort of ninjutsu, so he was ready to attack at any time. To his surprise, nothing actually happened, and Kai just put his sword back in the sheath and walked away. Both Itachi and Sasuke stared at the walking Kai with a dumbfounded expression.

Days kept passing by. During these days, Uchiha Kai showed the released state of his Shikai to nearly everyone in the Uchiha clan. He also managed to show it to both Kakashi and Might Guy. However, he was unable to meet the Hokage face to face during this time. He was also not able to meet Danzo. But he was able to meet many influential people from various clans using his identity as a deputy of the police department.

Just like this, seven days passed by, and it was finally the night of the genocide.
