Reincarnation

After nine grueling months of wait, Qin finally saw his first glimpse of light. At this moment, Qin felt a rush of energy go throughout his body as all of his feelings quickly returned back to him. 'Finally!' Qin thought. His main priority now was to find out about his current situation.

The light started to become brighter as something engulfed his entire body. Suddenly, he was pulled out into the mysterious light! Qin immediately looked around everywhere the moment he was in the light.

What he saw was shocking.

He was in a room with two other people. One was the person holding him, a round woman wearing old nurse clothing and having large forearms. She smiled as she held and looked at Qin. The other person in the room was who Qin now regarded as his new mother, not that he had a real one, to begin with on earth.

The nurse noticed that Qin was a curious baby, so curious that he didn't even cry when being born, but simply looked around the room almost distraught. She put him on his stomach and gave him a light tap.

"What th-!?" Qin yelled out loud. Unfortunately, his yells were interpreted by the nurse and his new mother as a simple baby cry. The nurse lightly chuckled before handing Qin over to his mother. She took him in her embrace gracefully with a warm heart. This feeling was something of which Qin had never experienced before, the loving embrace of his mother.

Although Qin was not one to show or even feel much emotion, he felt quite emotional at this moment. He was very vulnerable, and it felt as though his mother's embrace was the only thing that could protect him in this cruel world.

Finally, he looked up at his mother. She was absolutely beautiful like a goddess was holding him. She also seemed to be crying at the present moment looking at him. A tear droplet came out of her eye and fell right on top of Qin's forehead.

An unfamiliar and weird sensation went throughout Qin's body due to this droplet of tears. Qin was slightly taken aback as he heard the next few words of his mother. She looked at him with a face that was trying to hold in its tears. "Im so sorry... Im so sorry that you had to be born into this world." She said, breaking down into even more tears.

The nurse quickly took Qin away from her as she continued to break down. For some indescribable reason, Qin didn't like to see his mother crying. It felt as though they had some sort of connection. The nurse wrapped Qin up in a warm blanket and placed him in a crib.

Before he knew it, Qin had fallen asleep. Upon waking up, Qin quickly surveyed his surroundings once more. He was in the embrace of his mother once again. She carried him through what seemed to be a long hall in a royal castle with many doors, almost talking to herself as she gave her baby a tour.

Each time she went into a new room, Qin was fascinated. Each room consisted of many different things that Qin had never seen. Upon entering each room, his mother would warn Qin of the conflicts that he would eventually have to face and how to come through them even stronger.

"Do not let anyone tell you who the greater one is, prove to them who is greater by actions rather than words!" She said as she danced from to room holding Qin in her tight embrace.

"Always fight for what you think is right!"

"Never, ever give up."

After multiple minutes of this, they finally arrived at a room in which Qin's mother stopped singing. Upon entering the room, Qin's mother's face immediately turned pale. Her happy expression erased off of her face as her body became more limp.

The room was a normal bedroom the same as the other ones Qin had seen but only slightly bigger with a table in the middle of the room instead of just a large bed on one of the sides.

Qin saw sitting in one of the seats was a man who looked to be around five years older than his mother who was about 35. He was taller than most, standing at a height of 6'3 ft., and wore a large red robe encrusted with many pearls and jewels of all sorts of variety.

"Sit down." The man spoke. He seemed to have a normal expression and spoke with a normal tone.

Qin's mother quickly sat down on the chair facing the man.

"What is the magic potential?" He said as he looked directly at Qin. Qin did not like how he was acting towards his mother however, he gave the man the meanest look a baby like him could muster up.

"A- Are you not even going to ask his name?" Qin's mother said in a respectful and quiet tone. She was clearly nervous. The man ignored her, however, still waiting on his answer.

"Kane, he's your son-" She was quickly cut off by the man.

"That thing is not my son!" The man yelled at Qin's mother while pointing at Qin. Qin could not understand anything that his mother or the man in front of him were saying, but he hated the feeling of someone pointing at him. 'Who does this peasant think he's pointing at?' Qin thought.

The man stood up infuriated. "What is its magic potential, I will not ask again." He said. Qin's mother noticed that Kane would not even call his own son he, instead of an "it", not even acknowledging him as human.

Qin's mother teared up before answering. "White..." She said in a low tone. It felt as though a shadow covered up Kane's eyes. He was frozen with anger.

"Disgusting." He said before disappearing in plain sight. Qin's mother started to break down again. It was clearly overbearing for her. Qin also disliked this random man for making his mother cry, but he was also infatuated by his teleportation just then.

'What kind of witchery was that!?' Qin thought to himself with a golden sparkle in his eyes. Although the magic had piqued his interest, he couldn't help but feel slightly guilty in the presence of his mother crying.

Even the highest head must bow and every tongue must confess.

In the presence of his own mother, even this tyrannical ruler who killed thousands mercilessly couldn't help but show vulnerability.

That day, he had seen many interesting things. Using this knowledge of this newfound world, Qin decided to create a plan.

First off, he needed to learn the language that people in this world spoke. Not only to understand his current situation but to also figure out what was going on with his mother. Secondly, he needed to research this magic that he had just seen. Were there other types of this power? How powerful could they get? These were all of great interest to Qin.

Before he could start enacting his plan, however, Qin needed his basic human skills. To be able to at least crawl was a must. After learning how to crawl, which most likely wouldn't take Qin too long due to his fully developed brain from his past life, Qin would try and learn the language of this world by any means necessary.

And so, Qin counted his days as an infant until the day he could finally crawl. It took Qin about four months before learning how to crawl. This was of course faster than any baby ever before, but Qin already had a developed brain, so this speed was accounted for.

In these four months, Qin saw and learned many things. The man he had seen the day after he was born had never appeared in front of him since. He also saw many other random people go in and out of his life. Qin learned that there was a library not far away from his bedroom. Back on earth, Books were the holy grail of knowledge, all that was known was in books, If Qin wanted to know anything about what he sought to find out, he would need to read books.

----------

3 am.

It was finally time to enact Qin's great plan. He needed to sneakily crawl into the library and quickly learn about all that was to be known about the language of this world. Qin knew that it would take many tries, but for this venture, he simply needed to find out where the language books were, and also at what time the library opened up to the public. These times were crucial for Qin to never be caught again.

And so, having this plan in mind, Qin set out into the night.

Hahaha! Its time for Qin's first ever perilous journey! Get excited and get ready for what to come out of this story!
