This is a work in progress, currently working on volume 1 before publishing. This is more of an experiment to me. I cannot guarantee regular chapters since this is a hobby for me. But if I ever have to finish the story early, it will be with an appropriate closure.

In this universe, many star-traveling civilizations popped up one after the other. Although most of them were technology-based civilizations as we would know them, many other civilizations were based on different principles.
The Seekers built their civilization based on magic. The dependence on mana stones and mana-filled star systems made the expansion of the Seekers slow down.
30 years ago, they introduced what now was known as physical technology. This led to an industrial revolution.
Val quit his job at a shipyard after 4 years as a magical engineer. Although he embraced hybrid technology, the company wanted him as a manufacturer, not as a craftsman.
After years in the army, failed studies, and a failed career, Val needed a new perspective. He decided to broaden his horizon and experience other civilizations; hoping to find a new goal in life.
