Having spent 12 years playing this one game, he had still not beaten the final boss, never even reaching the door at the bottom of the Crypt. Finally, 12 years of playtime and a years worth of preparation, a build that could beat just about anything else in the game and a max levelled party. He thought he was ready. He lost to the final boss regardless of his years of experience. A new update came through for a game whose developers had gone out of business years ago, he was about to start a new playthrough when he realised just how much of his life he had lost playing this game. But as he is about to quit, he would begin on a playthrough that would change his life in ways never imagined.
