Adeline's fist tightened.

"Do you think she will be happy to find you here with me pinned down on the bed underneath you?" she asked, her lips arrowing into a taunting side smile. "I don't think so. You should run to her, otherwise, she might tell her daddy to cancel the contract. I'm not sure that will be good for you."

Dimitri breathed heavily, finding it hard to control his frustration. "Keep running your pretty little mouth, Adeline. But you really don't know what I can do to you."

Adeline shut her eyes and began to chortle as if he had uttered the most comical statement she'd ever heard.

"Me? Adeline?" she questioned, her eyes darkening and the amusement on her face vanishing in an instant. "The only thing your pathetic self can do is force yourself on me. But can you even do that? I'm sure you can't unless you don't care about that thing between your legs in your pants." Her eyes lowered to catch a glimpse and Dimitri followed her gaze.
