A new beginning.

It was 7:30

Work had ended. As much as he was tired, Lewis got up from the chair he was sitting in and slowly left the building. He hadn't eaten anything all day, so on his way back home, he stopped at a place to eat. This was a place where Lewis stopped to eat daily. Lewis finished his food quickly and continues his journey back home.

20minutes of walking back home, which to him felt like an eternity, he finally arrived back at his small apartment, which he couldn't even pay the rent in time. As he opens the door and slowly goes inside. He was so tired, he sat down to take a little break, but he fell asleep in seconds. For Lewis, the night had ended in a matter of minutes, and there he was, getting ready to go to work.

He was walking down the street just minding his business, he then took a peek at his left and saw a little boy crossing the road, at first he didn't pay any attention to it, but when he sees a Truck rushing into the little boys way, he unconsciously jumped in and pushed the little one outside of the trucks range. Lewis ended up saving the little boy, but he ended up losing his life in the process. "So this is how I die hu..."

"Did I just get reincarnated? That's something you only see in anime or manga, but to experience something like this. But what's more amazing is that I got reincarnated with a system." without even thinking more about the situation he was in, he immediately starts to observe the system. In his last life, he played a lot of games, so this did pique his interest beyond anyone's imagination. The system wasn't that complicated. Just like in the games he played, it had many tabs.

{shop}

Unlocks at level 5.

"Shop that will probably be important in the future." He couldn't wait to unlock the shop. Just him thinking about this made him more excited about what's to come in the future. There was the status tab, which he had already seen the moment he had to awaken but remembered nothing about his stats since the feeling of being reincarnated was more important. He then clicks on the next one. This was the skill tab. Of course, it was empty as he had no skill.

And finally, the last Tab and one of the most important to leveling up the quests tab. "It's like I'm playing a game." As he took another look at the quest tab, he saw a quest, so he clicks on it without even a moment to spare. The quest was just a normal daily quest that didn't give much XP. The contents of the quest were.

{daily quest}

Read a book

Rewards: 10xp

This quest was weird and easy to do. As much as Lewis didn't like to read a book, he didn't mind it for a quest like this.

"As I thought." Every time he thought about closing the system, the system would close when he thought about opening it, it would appear in front of him. He then checks his status once again.

"Wait, kyle???" he was confused as to why his name was Kyle, but then he thought about it. He did get reincarnated, and having the same name as the one in his last life would have been a huge coincidence. Then the thought of him having new parents was also something he looked forward to after all, in his last life, his parents died when he was 3 years old he was then taken care of by his beloved aunt, who took great care of him.

"Well, the change of my name kinda makes sense, but why tf are my stats so bad. I mean, why is my luck -7 why is - stat even a thing. The job one sounds interesting cant wait to see what job I will get." Kyle *sighted*. When he was reincarnated, He didn't even pay attention to his surroundings as he was too "busy" checking out the system.

He was in a room which looked like his bedroom. The room was very big. It also had a window on the other side of the room. There was a chair with a table next to the window, and on the right of the window was a bookshelf with a lot of books.

When he saw the bookshelf, he smirked. He had a quest about reading a book, after all, he was definitely excited and couldn't wait to finish that quest. He moved in the speed of light and checked some of the books. They all had the names of a fantasy manga or novel. He chose a book randomly. The book was very big. He placed the book on the table next to the window. Before he sat down, he opened the window since it was a little dark in the room. As he was about to sit down, he heard some voices calling for him.

"Kyle...Kyle... kyle, wake up." The person who was calling out Kyle's name was his mother. Kyle didn't know that at the time, so he just responded by "coming." Kyle then arrived downstairs.

"Good morning," said Kyle

"Good morning, kyle. You overslept again. dinner is ready so go call your father. "

When she said father, he guessed it was her mother, even the way she acted. He came to that conclusion. "Yes, mother."

Kyle left the room he was in, but suddenly, his head started hurting, memories started flooding into his head. "are these memories... wait" he asked himself but keeping the thought on his mind. It turned out Kyle 11 years old and from a family of farmers or so he thought the reason was the memories were slowly coming to him, and the world he was living in had different races, which would explain the "Race: Human" on the status. This world also had Magic and all sorts of fantasy things that Kyle only saw in novels,manga or anime. He truly started to love his new life, and out of nowhere, from the excitement, he started jumping up and down.

"Kyle, stop fooling around." shouted his mother

"Sorry, mother."

"But why didn't is see these memories when I got reincarnated." he thought to himself. "Well, that doesn't really matter."

Kyle then took a step outside. He knew exactly where his father was, so he headed there In a matter of seconds. "If those memories didn't just pop into my head a few minutes ago, I would have had a hard time finding where my father was, this makes it much easier."

Kyle arrived at the place where his father was working.

This story was rewritten.

Anyways I hope you enjoy this chapter :)
