Chapter 68

Once the Fleet was in position Hundreds of transport ship's were launched from the fleet and started heading towards the Planet's surface.

5 of the Harrower Class Dreadnoughts had also entered the planet's atmosphere to offer a mobile Fighter/Bomber launching platform and to perform artillery strikes on heavily defended Droid positions.

Legion was on his own transport heading to where the Spartan Team was located.

Above the skies of Mandalore hundreds of transport's was seen by the Mandalorian's who were on both the CIS side and on House Kryze side.

Legion's Transport had arrived at the HQ where the Spartan team was along with a few other transport's.

The Transport doors opened and the ramp extended out towards the ground. An entire formation of Terran Droids marched down the ramp in formation.

Behind them came Legion with his own personnel escort's of Droids following behind him.

Lt. Williams had walked up to Legion to greet him "Legion, I'm surprised someone like you is here" Said Lt. Williams since Legion was similar to a high ranking person in the Terran Ascendency even if he was a A.I.

"Sending me is his majesty's way of telling the Galaxy that we are not weak and that we have both the technology and Military to conduct operations across the Galaxy" Said Legion

"I see well I'm glad you are here since now we can start helping the civilians" Said Lt. Williams

"Yes our primary goal is to retake the Residence and city of Kryze so that we can have a safe place to keep the civilians. With our secondary goal being to protect civilians and get them to a safe place" Responded Legion

While they were talking that's when Duchess Satine had walked up "Lt. Williams who is this droid" Asked Duchess Satine as she noticed that it was different from all the other ones.

"This is Legion and he is a Super Intelligent A.I. who has many abilities and lot's of knowledge about warfare, etc. Just think of him as a Super Droid" Said Lt. Williams

"I am not a droid, those weak and stupid things don't compare to me" Replied Legion

This made Duchess Satine giggle a little since she had never seen this type of interaction between a droid and person before.

"Now let's get back on topic, Duchess Satine my droid army will take back the City in which your residence resides and make it a giant fortress that will be impenetrable. And then we will start to move out from there and take back the Planet little by little" Legion explained the plan to them.

"Is his Majesty not coming" Asked Duchess Satine

"No his Majesty is on a Brake on Zakuul, in fact his speech has just became the #1 searched thing on the Holo net since it is the first time he has showed his to the public" Said Legion not mentioning that time at Olympus since that didn't really count.

"Oh he has showed his face finally" Said Duchess Satine since she had only seen him as a hologram.

"Yes but that's not important right now as we have a war to win so please let's stay focused" Said Legion

Duchess Satine didn't bring the subject up again and they continued to discuss plan's of how to win the war.

But the Arrival of the Terran Fleet above Mandalore was not kept hidden as the remaining ship's of the CIS fleet that escaped had informed Count Dooku of the Terran Ascendency participating in the battle.

Dooku was furious. He had not anticipated the involvement of the Terran Ascendency, and now his plans were in disarray. He paced back and forth in his command center, his mind racing with thoughts of how to turn the situation to his advantage.

"General," he called out to one of his most trusted commanders. "What do we know about the Terran Ascendency? What are their weaknesses?"

The general consulted his datapad before answering. "Very little is known about them, Count. They are a mysterious force that has only recently emerged on the galactic stage. Their technology is highly advanced, and they appear to have an inexhaustible supply of droids at their disposal. However, it seems that they lack organic soldiers, similar to us which is something that we can try to take advantage of."

"Yes we could do that but diverting forces to Mandalore at a time like this would hurt us on the other front's" Said Count Dooku as he thought for a moment what would be the best course of action.

Because if he send's another fleet back then it would have to be a very big and powerful fleet that can overcome the might of 20 Dreadnoughts which is possible but also costly.

On the other hand if he ignores Mandalore then he can focus on the Republic since the Terran Fleet is only helping the Mandalorian's and not the Republic.

It was a difficult decision to make but the CIS had Billion's of droids so losing the few on Mandalore wouldn't hurt them. He had hoped to get the Mandalorian's on his side to fight against the Republic but it seems that his plan would fail.

After thinking for a few minutes he made the difficult decision to abandon the Mandalore plan and focus on the Republic instead. One of his plan's may have failed but he has many more that he can use to get an advantage over the Republic.

"General let's ignore the Mandalore situation since we don't have enough data about the Terran Ascendency, for now let's just monitor the situation" Said Count Dooku

The General nodded and would send the command out to just keep Mandalore under close watch for now until otherwise told.

Meanwhile with the appearance of Emperor Alexander to the public and the arrival of the Terran Fleet on Mandalore the Galaxy is becoming more and more interesting.
