This is my first time doing a multiverse novel. Please don't judge me too much.

The night was particularly calm on this day, except for the grand party going on.

It was the new year eve, when everyone was with their loved ones celebrating this day, laughing or crying except for a red-haired kid.

Akashi was leaning on a wall in an abandoned building far from the city while breathing heavily because of the wound of his stomach.

"Hehehe... I am dying at the new year eve...*cough*...*cough*... By the hand of my own family" Akashi was trying to stop the bleeding from his wounds, but it was useless as he started to get weaker and weaker.

"How...did...*cough*... This even happens" Akashi looked at the bright moon and thought about his life in this world.

Akashi isn't technically a person from this world, Akashi isn't even his real name he forgot his true name after arriving at this world and living in it for 15 years.

According to his memories, this world isn't different in history compared to the last world. Until 70 years ago.

A mysterious energy hit this planet as some different worlds started to co-exist in the same place.

The earth after that started to expands reaching 20 times its size, allowing different and new continents to exist inhabited by the aborigines of those worlds.

War started between everyone trying to occupy the new resources. Humanity was able to survive because of its technology, but some aborigines had the same technology even more advanced and some had mysterious abilities.

But when humanity was in disadvantaged, a new threat emerged.

The animals and plants also received gifts from this energy making them evolved getting stronger even unlocking some different abilities and breed new species. They even started to appear from dimensional portals.

However, this energy also made them violent to almost any entity except their kind, turning into monsters that only seeks to destroy the other species.

Humans were in dear problems because after a few months the monsters were unaffected by guns and some of them even ignored bombs and rockets. Between the threats of monsters and the aborigines from other worlds humanity finally decided to use nuclear weapons.

The aborigines of the different worlds somehow got the information's about the plan, and started to prepare their massive destruction weapons.

The world was on the verge of destruction until a being arrived. No, he didn't appear, but every person on the planet heard his voice.

The being told everyone to stop fighting, but like they will listen to some voice in their heads, so everyone launched their weapons at each other.

The being only sighed before making all those weapons disappear while freezing the movements of everyone even time was stopped at that moment. Every side felt fear now because of a power they couldn't understand wielded by a mysterious being.

When the world was frozen the being started to explain how this all happened.

This energy is the heat or the overflowed energy between every world. Because it increased to an overwhelming quantity it started to go out of control and landed in this world, turning him into a center.

The world after becoming a center started to merge with some worlds next to him making those world inhabitants and their continents appearing on earth and increasing its size.

The energy itself is chaotic and out of control, so the animals that accepted it started to mutate and go out of control attacking everything that doesn't have the same energy.

The being after explaining restored the world ability to move and proceed to put barriers of light blocking the advancement of monsters while explaining his solution for the problem.

The being stated that he will take the energy and turn it into a whole space to make a game involving the multiverse and the people that live this world are the participants.

The game will be held in a different world, the participants have to complete missions announced by the game space to win and receive coins, points, and evaluations. But what makes the whole world crazy is everything that you gained in the game can be brought to reality by completing conditions or paying for it.

The being stopped explaining and proceed of leaving while telling people they can know more in the game, but some people asked the being why don't he fix this and take the energy

The being only said the energy can't be stopped as it one of the reasons worlds still balanced, and more importantly, he was... bored.

With the being leaving, all sides stopped fighting and focused more on the game and discover a lot of things about it.

The game only accepts people at the age of 12 or more, and open to accept more participants at 12 am and 12 pm and discover more important things... Like adaptation.

The worlds are classified according to the strength and difficulty from 10 to 1 rank.

The player's strength has also been classified from 1 to 10 ranks and every player after entering the game will awaken a unique talent.

The energy is the source of the game and power all of its functions to make something called the hard work not enough.

The more someone adapted to the energy the more he can buy from the shop, yes from the shop.

the more players advance in the game the more they need weapons and abilities to coup with the challenges of the different worlds so the shop became very important.

the game classified the player's adaptation from E to S, with S able to buy almost everything in the worlds except the world origin items and E just some normal food and useless things, like a normal dagger that becomes useless after one world.

The game also gives chances for its players if they die in the game, and classification comes again with S gets 6 chance while E gets only one chance. And one someone uses all his chances and die he disappear without a corpse.

After 10 years from the game people started to fight back monsters regained the land stolen from them and built the ascendant association with 5 ranks the strongest in the world as a leader but any smart person can guess they are lying.

After the peace, the association started to focus more on annihilating monsters and training the new generation, so different schools and academies existed like UA for heroes, academy city for espers and science, and the ascended academy that teaches almost everything.

With the science advancing humans even created devices to measure the adaptation for the energy from birth, and that was the start of Akashi.

Akashi was born with the most useless E rank adaptation what makes the seijiro family abandoned him to the orphanage from the moment of birth without even giving him a name.

he remembers it very well even when he was a baby the eyes of his so-called mother and father looking at trash, Akashi was the name giving him by orphanage dean.

Akashi was always lonely without friends because of his E rank that almost not exist because after each generation the human became more adaptable to the energy making E rank very rare and Akashi rejected by everyone except the old dean that died from an illness when Akashi was 8 years.

and why Akashi didn't use the so-called plot in his head for getting an advantage in the game because that's impossible.

without items and coins you can't do anything especially with E rank you can't even get abilities at the start to help yourself making you waste your life directly.

Akashi once thought of selling some information of the plot but he denied it immediately, cooperation is between to balanced sides and who will believe a kid that never played the game to know this information so that was just stupid act that might lead them to hunt him down if they knew the information was correct.

Akashi didn't know how was his last life but he didn't hate this one that much except for the bullying and people mocking him.

he always pursues perfect making everything he does the best, be it in studying for being always the first or playing basketball except being kicked by the team because of Rank E.

so even if life was hard Akashi always believed it will get better with his effort but something he didn't expect happens at the new year night.

seijuro family actually didn't forget about him but kept tracking him all the time as a car with the family name parked outside the orphanage and two guys talked to the new dean and Akashi heard what they were talking about.

apparently, he had 5 other sisters and the smallest one had heart disease and in a crisis of death, while they waiting for the cure they thought of getting his heart for assurance.

when Akashi know about their plans he ran out of the orphanage although he was sorry for his sister that he never met but he didn't want to give his life for a family that abandoned him.

asking for help is useless everything in the world is based on power will people chose E rank boy or gigantic family that try to sacrifice him for their daughter, he bet they will even support them to do it.

for the first time in his life, Akashi felt this anger not just because of the family that played with his life like nothing, but also at himself for being this helpless even had to run.

however, things didn't go in the favor of Akashi with one of them started tracking him even If he escaped to the forest at the risk of encountering a monster as the weakest one can take his life.

running for a while Akashi spotted a building in the front he ran to it only to get shot in his stomach.

moving despite the pain Akashi hide in the building clutching his wound with knowing that the escape is impossible.

the person following Akashi is definitely a player of 3 or 4 ranks and the reason he was able to escape in the first place that other party is playing with him.

"well, well, Akashi 'young master' don't make this hard on Yourself and accept my invitation" footsteps sound as a man with a suit and a badge of 3 stars in his chest.

<3 rank player> Akashi thought this was just a losing game from the start but there one last thing to do.

"HAHAHAHA...are you serious, you are just a waste, a good for nothing, you should be grateful that you can help the young lady with your pathetic life," the man said while Akashi was looking through the window.

"I see...*cough*... thank you for wasting some time with me" Akashi said smiling at the man

"what do me-" the man words stopped when the sound of fireworks sounded as they exploded in the sky.

"I will make the seijuro family pay starting by you and...*cough*... happy new year mother**cer" with those words Akashi accepted the invitation as a white light flashed.

the man tried to shot at the light but Akashi was already gone.

"This is bad" the man lost his calm and called for his captain.

"captain...I lost the target he entered the game" the man said with frustration.

"you lost an E rank kid...your punishment will be announced later, that kid is not important right now come back to the headquarter" the captain said through the phone as the man replied and left.

"it just an E rank kid what could happen" the man thought as he was leaving the building.

the humans were celebrating this new year while little they know that the biggest disaster in this century is about to be born.

2 rank: trained soldier.

3 rank: a person learned a special technique making or increased his stats to a different level than normal humans able to jump on building and crush rocks by hand.

4 rank: must have a special energy be it chakra or magic.

5rank: mastered his energy and started to go in his own path the strong one even started to master a little bit of the rules.
