Chapter 22: Drowning in Tears

Eva's POV

"Jane, where's the nearest tribe?" I asked. Jin and I have split into two groups. His group consisting of Mark and Matt went left the castle. Mine consisting of Sheila and Jane went to the right side. We're looking for native tribes to aid us against the Underworld Army.

"A kilometer from here, there's a lake with creatures. It's a large settlement" Jane said.

"Then let's hurry up" I said and we ran towards it.

"Gather all of them, those who will resist kill them immediately" We saw a knight said as we hid in a nearby bush.

"Arthur's knights are here" Sheila said.

"What kind of species are those? The ones they're capturing" I asked. It was a group of women with slimy skins and wavy hair.

"Water nymphs, they are like sirens but more human like. Highly proficient in aquatic medication and assassination" Jane explained.

"You sure know a lot" Sheila said.

"It goes in a package" Jane replied.

"It was supposed to be Bedivere's work, why are we assigned here?" Another knight came up.

"I don't know Bors but something came up and Kay summoned them" He said.

"They should return immediately, we still need to gather the remaining mobs" Bors replied.

"I tried contacting them but it's no use. They won't pick up" He said.

"Brunor, try contacting Lancelot" Bors said.

"You know Lancelot, his team is against this shit. I'll try Tristan" Brunor replied and placed his finger in his forehead.

"So?" Bors asked.

"Kay, Degore, Bedivere and Hector are dead" Brunor said.

"What happened?" Bors asked.

"A group of unknown terrorist helped the Spirithooves and managed to kill the four of them" Brunor replied. Unknown terrorist?

"It was Jin and the others" Jane said.

"How can you tell?" Sheila asked.

"They went to the left side of the island. Spirithooves made their settlement there" Jane replied.

"So what now? I guess we also have to put and end here" I said.

"I'll go first" Sheila said.

Sheila tried to harm them with metal thorns (Rose Thorn) but Brunor just deflects it with a psychic wave.

"We have company" Brunor said.

"Jane, get the nymphs to safety. We'll handle them" I said and Jane rushed towards the nymphs.

"Who said you can touch them" Bors said and tried to lock Jane with a mana chain. I used my Magic Blast to stop the mana chain.

"I'm your opponent mister" I said and used Electric Field.

"What is this thing?! I can't use my psychotic energy?!" Brunor exclaimed.

"Thanks for the help" Sheila smirked and dashed towards Brunor. She used her daisy blade and tried to stab Brunor.

"I forgot to tell you, I also have other energy to use" Brunor said and shoots Sheila with a pillar of water "Good thing the Nymphs are here"

"Sheila, Eva!" Jane shouted "The nymphs are safe. You can now go 100%"

"As you wish" Sheila smiled and used her Lotus Dance, Orchid Blade, Daisy Blade and Lily Steps as a combo and attacked Brunor.

Brunor used all of his energy to deflect Sheila, now he's unable to break free Jane's Aqua cube.

I ready for a quadro casting. I casted Magic Beam, Magic Arrow, Lightning Spear and Incinerate at the same time creating a pillar of chaos energy making Bors explode into pieces.

I have now leveled up and turned into level 60. Sheila turned into level 65 while Jane turned into level 55.

"What are we gonna do with him?" Sheila asked.

"The nymphs wants his head. We'll give him to them full body" Jane said.

We approached the nymphs and gave them Brunor.

Two of them chained Brunor and dragged him at the bottom of the lake.

"Hello friends, who is your chieftain here?" Jane asked.

"I am. I am Aquafina, Chieftain of the Water Nymphs" Aquafina said.

"Lady Aquafina, we need to discuss something with you" I said.

"Ladies, give us a moment" Aquafina said and the other nymphs returned to the lake.

"If you didn't know, the Underworld Army are coming this way. They planned on ridding this island. I'll be straightforward to you. We need your help in order for this island to survive" I said.

"The humans are our number one defense mechanism, but since they appointed a new king. The order of this island have gone astray" Aquafina replied.

"Don't worry about Arthur and his men. Just promise us your aid and two days from now, we will dethrone Arthur and claim back the palace" I said.

"If your advocacy will give us a slight chance to survive, then we will cooperate. I will gather all my women near the palace in two days. We will wait for your arrival" Aquafina said.

"Thank you" Jane replied.

"May I ask? What are you?" Aquafina asked Jane.

"What am I? What do you mean?" Jane asked.

"You have the heart and mind of a powerful siren yet you have the body of a human. What kind of species are you?" Aquafina asked.

"You must be mistaken by Aquarius. She became my source of powers since we became one" Jane replied.

"Just like Virgo" I added.

"If you will agree, can I give you our blessing?" Aquafina asked.

"Please elaborate" Jane replied.

"We Water Nymphs specializes in aqua medication and assassination but we also specializes in hydro spells. Not proficient as the sirens but we can suffice. Our blessing will help you strengthen your aqua affinity and expand your mana to greater lengths" Aquafina explained.

"Did you say mana?" I asked.

"Yes. Aqua Medication requires a lot of mana so we need this blessing inorder to execute medication into our patients" Aquafina said.

"Can you... Also give me a blessing? Well, it's kind of embarrassing but my casting requires a lot of mana. I can only quadro cast twice a day" I said.

"No problem" Aquafina replied "If I may" She placed her hands in Jane's palms and made a glowing effect. Enormous mana came surging out of Jane's body, strengthening her spells.

"There's also a new spell added to it" Jane said.

"A new spell? That never happened before" Aquafina said.

"It says, Aqua Rejuvenation and Aqua Resurrection" Jane said.

"Oh gods of heavens and earth! Aqua Resurrection is the strongest spell us Water Nymphs have. As far as I can recall, only two of our kin have that spell. The first empress and her daughter" Aquafina exclaimed.

"What does it do? Bring the dead back to life?" Sheila asked.

"If the body still have water and not had yet rot, you can still save him or her regardless of the case" Aquafina explained.

"That's pretty op and convenient but op" Sheila said.

Aquafina also gave me their blessing and return to the lake. We continued deeper into the forest.
