/"What’s wrong with you?/" Cleo’s voice broke through my thoughts. I looked up from my phone that I had been staring at for I didn’t know how long.

/"I’m wondering how much longer I am going to have to wait before I hear from Clark,/" I tell her. I know I sound pathetic, and I am not even sure why I am waiting around for some guy.

/"Was he supposed to call you or something?/" Kierra asks as she pours me a glass of wine. I hadn’t even noticed that they had both come in with a bottle.

/"No,/" I took the glass, downing half of it before putting it back down and looking at my friends.

/"You two have a fight?/" Cleo raised a brow. I shook my head. They were just pointing out all the reasons I didn’t understand why he hadn’t called. Nothing was wrong. That I knew of.

/"It hasn’t been that long since you had your cute little anniversary,/" Kierra pointed out, /"nothing has happened since then?/"
