Short Horror Stories

"Hello are you there?" -Says a child voice to me. I sleep alone so there's no one. I am sleeping and dreaming again, that's it!

The next day when I woke up, I was checking up my room to see who it was. I said to my father that he should check my room too as I did, but he doesn't check it and just says that everything is fine with it. Oh well, that's okay with me, he doesn't really believe in those things as me. It's 3AM, and I woke up hearing knocking and screeching under my bed, but I stay calm I don't wanna scream again nor cry.

In the morning, I find something on my face as I was scratched my a cat, but I don't own one. "It it halloweek! Some things will start happening to you guys!"-Says my friend giggling. I gasp and say "How do you know?", "I was only joking...", he hits me on my arm as we all walk away.

I don't wanna sleep at night, but I have to. Bissare things keep happening to me, but no one really believes me. It's 3AM again and this time I opened my eyes to get a glass of water. Something grabbed my leg and started laughing hysterically, the laugh was starting to become something awful. The laugh was something I never heard before.

I almost cried,but it let me go, I went to get cup of water and I drank it all up, thinking it was all in my head. But no, it was just standing there in the dark, watching me.

My dad got up and asked me what was I doing. "Nightmares again?" -he smiles.

"Yeah dad, the same thing." -I answer him back while my eyes get teary.

"Tonight sleep with me then. Come here, let's go it's late."

I say: "Thank you!", while running towards him.

Next day I got the chills, as someone was standing behind me, but there was no one. We had many books because my mom liked to read about different religions, so I try reading one. So I open one and I start reading it while shaking in fear.

The thing let me go and I gasp for air. Night wasn't peaceful at all.

"Son, I will sleep wih you in your room. Okay?" - He helds my hand as I nod.

We were in my room and I started shaking as never before.

"Dad, can you please check for the monsters?" -I started being teary while speaking these words, dad nods, starts searching and looking around from my closet then towards my bed.

"Haha, are you making fun of me, how did you get over there?" The son under his bed says "Help me, it stalks me!"...

The son on this bed says: "I've been always JoKing WiTh YouU~...",

It changed the voice!

Dad got the shivers, he went all pale and then says: "Okay then, can you leave us alone?"...

"No, my purpose is to hunt humans, mostly children. While you sleep, your dear child is having nightmares!", it says...

I slowly take few steps back and stand behind my dad as he slowly looks up.

The voice was something we have never head before. It was gone like nothing happened.

Will it come back?

We don't know nor we want to know about that. We left that house and the city. We left the memories there. Everything that happened in that house will stay a secret. That thing probably never left, and will hunt the next family, and the next generations as well.

It was a faceless and a black monster, who only liked darkness and the chidren's cry in the night.
