She Loved Him First

A union of two enemies could only mean two things; a disaster bound to fail or a match about to withstand the test of time. Either ways, Gwendolyn Stone never for once though she’d be married off for the company’s sake and worse to a man she hated every fiber of his being. Gerald smith had an expensive taste in women and Gwen isn’t a woman he’d pick to spend the rest of his life with. Compared to his train of model girlfriends, Gwen is quite a plain Jane. Gwen’s plan for the marriage is simple, get into it and make Gerald regret accepting the marriage. Gerald’s plan is direct, make Gwen suffer for ending his bachelor life and make her whole life miserable as his wife. We are in for a rollercoaster of drama or even a touch of Cupid, who knows?!

Drenched in the rain

Gerald Smith

"Gwen, are you really not going to sleep in the same room as me?", i asked and she laughed instead.

"You should quit dreaming, I'll rather sleep on the cold floor outside, than sleep with you on one bed!" she said and spat, and i was ready to give her what she wanted.

"As you wish, my lady..... Guards!" I called and they came immediately.

"Take this little princess out of this mansion, make sure she sleeps on the cold floor outside, and she is not allowed to leave this mansion till i say so!"

"Yes Boss"

They said and tried dragging her out, but she was way too stubborn.

"What the fuck are you doing Gerald?, I can't believe you're starting a fight on the first day of our marriage..."

".... It's a company marriage", i said And corrected her, and she nodded.

"But still, you can't do this to me!, It's wrong" She screamed, but i made sure they dragged her outside without anything, next time she would be nicer to me and accept anything i do to her.

They succeeded in dragging her out, but she kept banging the door like the bitch she was, saying all sort of crazy things, i headed towards my room and freshened up, "Oh! What a wedding!" i said and in few minutes, my eyes were closed, sleep taking over my imaginations and i drifted up.

Gwendolyn Stone

Gerald was a filthy monster, i knew he was no good, my heart sank when he asked the guards to throw me out, and here i was outside the mansion on the cold floor. I was wishing i never said what i said. I was beginning to regret running my mouth in a way i shouldn't have.

It was late, i was still in my wedding gown, there was no way i could sleep in this. Luckily i had a tank top below my wedding gown, i had also put on a leggings beneath my cloth. I didn't underestimate Gerald, but he could do anything crazy, just like he did to me now.

I was trying so hard to unzip the gown when i saw maid who bowed her head slightly and smiled.

"Ma, is there anything I can help you with?", She asked with a look of worry on her face, it seemed she already knew what Gerald had done to me.

"i just want to unzip this dress, i can't sleep in this", I said and she nodded with a smile, helping me unzip it carefully.

"I'm done with it Ma'am" She said again and i muttered a "Thank you".

"If you need my help, I'll be here, please try not to catch a cold, it seems like it's going to rain. I wish I could take you in, but if the Master finds out, he would kill me". She said and i sensed fear in her voice.

"Ill be fine, thanks,... Oh and what is your name?", i asked out of concern

"I'm Rilia" She said and walked off.

It was getting darker, thick darkness surrounded the sky, it was going to rain, Gerald should be asleep.

The wind blew so heavily, blowing particles into my eyes.

The rain started but there was no place for me to stay. I sat there, drenched in the rain, the rain stopped and i was shivering so much, that i thought i was going to die. I would never forgive Gerald.

I laid on the cold floor, as i slept off in cold, folding my knees closely to my chest.
