Chen's POV
Meifeng looked at me with a big smile on her face and she shook her head.
"Your Highness, I don't think so. You're the smartest woman I've ever seen and I'm glad to work for you," she praised and I couldn't help but to smile.
No one has ever praised me. Everyone looks down on me and they think I'm good for nothing. This was because I had to hide from others, so they thought I was weak.
Longwei's mother didn't return to my room. She only sent the physician to come and cure me. The physician, being that she's an old woman, quickly detected that I was lying and she only gave me vitamins, saying that I would need to look beautiful for my crowning. As if I needed it.
I was looking at the small bottle the physician had given to me with disinterest when Meifeng spoke.
"If the Alpha King really wants you as his Luna Queen, will you object?" Meifeng asked me all of a sudden.
