Min Jun wasn't in a good mood. Her face was pale and my mind was disturbed. I wondered what was going on in her head. She had been like this since that witch came. I was so ready to explain everything to her. I don't want her thinking that I had consent in this ridiculous marriage.
There was an awkward silence between us and I hoped it wasn't anything relating to Chen but I knew I was just deceiving myself. Min Jun kept her chin up but she was still looking sad.
"Is anything the matter, Min Jun? You don't look happy and I'm worried," I said to her but she smiled weakly. I knew deep down that that was a fake smile.
She only smiled to make it seem as if nothing was bothering her. But, I could feel it. I would be so relieved if I wasn't the reason she is sad.
"Are you sure you are fine, Min Jun? Do you want anything? Are you famished?" different questions flooded out of my mouth but she only chuckled.
