Kyle got home a little while later. He walked Blizzard into the stable and took the saddle off. When he turned around to get the brush to brush the horse's mane he found Ali standing behind him holding the brush.

"Looking for this" she handed the brush over to Kyle. "Thanks." he took the brush and turned back to face Blizzard. "Look Kyle I just want to apologise for earlier. I didn't mean to act that way. I have no excuse for the way I acted." he nods his head in reply.

"Say something please..." she looked at him with tears in her eyes. "Ali. I'm only trying to protect you, but you are reluctant to listening to what I have to say about that jerk. He ..nevermind."

"Please tell me. I don't like how we have drifted apart. We used to be so close, and now...we barely even say hi." she turned away to hide her tears that were streaming down her face.
