"And… there mate!"

*Thud*

Finally finished what seems like hours well to be exact 4 hours of my time with Roy's help and me making the metal bends and controlling them with ease we finally made a weapon suitable for me.

And using my Scroll while using my <Technopathy> skill allowed me to have an easier time searching the web and looking for ways how I can create my weapon searching through many databases in a few seconds.

Ugh…

The aftermath after creating my weapon was a major headache…

Never try placing or connecting your own thoughts to the internet it's still a cursed place.

Still can't believe Rule 34 still exists here ehh... I feel very dirty...

Ruby already left as her teammates were calling her to ask where she was she told me she had things to do and took her to leave as I was left busy in the forge of Roy Metal Workshop to create my weapon.

Took some time on our end with extracting the Dust from the Bullet shells but finally managed to create two sets of weapons for me to have.

The first one on my two fists are gauntlet-style gloves this time around both colored red with four inputs of Dust Crystal dusts already fueled inside thanks to Roy and Ruby's insight of having them at the ready to produce elemental shields if need be.

And the other weapon I got was a Water infused Dust sword similar to Adam but mine is that called hand cannon instead as it only needs to shoot out three rounds of Dust pure energy in my direction with the chamber ready.

The shift weapon is called Destiny's Ward and the twin set Gauntlets are called Red Riot.

Yeah… those names will be ones I'll keep remembering as Roy began to give me tips on how I should take care of my weapon and everything.

Nodding and thanking the man I try to pay him but shook his head as the metals and left-over weapons were payment enough as well as giving me some Lien for the excessive amount I had given over.

Thanking Roy, I left the place and began to walk seeing its already sunset in Vale.

Man, I must have really been in the forge for a long while now but seeing I have this chance…

Making my way around Vale I began to search for Tukson Bookstore since I'm in need to learn some or get all the books I can so that I can get some unique skills or magic books lying in there for me to use when I finally can use magic.

Like that, I began to hurry up along to see if there were any books available to me to get…

Please let me get something good.

~Third POV~

A ship flies through the skies over Vale as the ship goes the owner of the Dust shop "From Dust Till Dawn" is hanging a sign declaring its re-opening.

As he climbs down from his ladder, he stumbles and falls but only to be stopped by a girl.

The girl in question was a young woman with medium-brown skin and dark-red eyes. Her hair is a light, mint-green with a straight fringe and bangs as well as two long locks on each side in the back. She wears two bronze-colored rings on her middle fingers as well as a pair of strappy high-heeled pumps.

That girl is Emerald Sustrai as she appears next to him giggling while she helps him to his feet, "'Scuse me, sorry. I'm not really from around here. Would you mind pointing me in the direction of this shop?"

Emerald produces a piece of paper with writing on it and the shopkeep looks it over as he helps her out, "Hmm? Mm-hmm."

Emerald walks away from the shop owner as both wave goodbye and passes by a boy at a corner.

A pale, young man with gray eyes and gray hair, partially slicked back while unkempt at the front also described as a skinny guy. He has prosthetic legs that attach part-way up his thighs. These legs are usually hidden from view due to him wearing pants and a pair of shoes.

Mercury Black comes close to Emerald with an annoying grin on his face, "I knew you were lost."

Emerald produces a wallet with Lien and waves it in Mercury's face hoping to pay for his silence, "Mercury, I will seriously pay you to shut up."

Mercury shrugs at this and plays around with her, "That's not your money."

Emerald smiles hoping for him to take the bait, "But it can be yours for 5 minutes of silence."

Mercury sees this and thinks before finally replying, "Mmmm... no deal."

Emerald takes the Lien and tosses the wallet, turning to walk away, "Fine."

Mercury plays around with her as he spoke out loud enough for her to hear, "Whatever. You want me."

The two continue to walk around the area searching for someone while they pass by a café where two extras sit chatting. Mercury and Emerald are walking through the city as he began to speak up first, "So, how much farther?"

Emerald replied annoyed at Mercury's voice, "A few blocks."

Mercury gets bored as he whines about the city of Vale while annoying Emerald in the process, "Ugh... this place is so dull."

Emerald on the other hand counter argues back with him somewhat defending Vale, "Eh, I kinda like it. Tall buildings, diverse culture..."

Mercury chimes in with a smile on his face mocking Emerald a bit jabbing on her past, "And nice dopey people who are easy to pickpocket."

Emerald stops at this as she replies offhandedly keeping her emotions reigned in, "That's every city."

Mercury plays acts as a victim getting a rile up from Emerald in the process, "Ooh, Emerald! Master thief! Please don't take my money! I barely have enough to get by!"

Emerald glares at him, groaning angrily as she then walks away from him mumbling to herself at Mercury, "Grr… you wouldn't be talking this much if Cinder was here. Maybe then you'll be able to listen."

Mercury heard that as he hums to himself enjoying himself while replying to her, "Ugh... you're no fun today. Mm-hmm. Guess without miss Cinder around you seems to be more uptight in the ass."

She turns around and glares at Mercury at that remark but left it alone as he follows behind her.

As the two continue to look for their target they finally stumble into Tukson Bookstore as the two see a young boy Mercury sees him and mumbles to himself, "Huh? Looks like someone beat us to the punch. Poor luck on him."

However, when the young man tried to open it there was a noticeable thud sound as if the bookstore was closed Emerald decided to get close as she tried to be friendly, "Scuse me but do you know what happened here? We were hoping to enter inside to get some books here do you know why it's closed?"

Looking at her Jack looked at Emerald a bit stun as Mercury comes over soon after making a quick apology to her for his mistake, "Huh…? Oh! I'm so sorry I was a bit captured by your beauty that I didn't hear you correctly. Sorry about that but if you were looking for Tukson the owner he already flew the coop it seems."

Emerald raised an eyebrow at him as Mercury held in a laugh as he asked Jack keeping his cool, "Haha! Ahem…! It's alright pal do you happen to know when Tukson is coming back?"

At this Jack quickly recovers his mistake of looking at Emerald too much he replied in a regular tone to him, "Sorry pal but from what I heard he won't be coming back for a while. I came to see if the rumors about leaving were true shame that's the case. Sigh… and I was hoping to get some new light novels. Well then since his gone I have no reason to be here. Wish you guys some luck finding what you need. Later."

Leaving quickly but normally Jack went around the corner soon enough as he saw the defeated expressions on Emerald and Mercury expressions as they leave in the other direction.

When Jack saw the two are gone and using his <Observe> skill to see they have truly left he sighs out a breath of relief as he began to talk to himself quietly, "Sigh… way too close. I got suddenly shocked seeing them here. Now since they left time for me to get to work."

Seeing no one around Jack began to look around the areas between the building to see an entranceway or another as he saw a few cameras around but the lights on them seems to have not been online for a while.

Using <Observe> Jack found out it was online thanks to the insides of Tukson's home but with him gone…

He looks above to notice to see a window closed Jack smiles at this as he began to wear disposable gloves and thinks to himself, 'Good thing I bought these with Ruby away looking to buy some shells. This will at least hide my fingerprints and new shoes in case anyone asks.'

*Woosh*

Using his skill <Glyph> to create a platform and repel him upward high enough on the window Jack began to break into the home using <Petal Burst>.

*SWOOSH*

Turning into small particle molecules Jack easily slipped between the window cracks inside the home of Tukson as he reassembles himself inside keeping his identity hidden as he thinks to himself, 'Perfect. Ruby Semblance is really busted breaking an entry. Really helps slipping into tight spaces like the gap between the windows is easy enough to slip past.'

*Woosh*

Using <Petal Burst> inside Tukson's home easily floats away and rushes into the backroom Jack's eyes widen to see the items of books as a smile was present on his face, 'Oh boy. I hit the jackpot now. Time to store these bad boys.'

Like that Jack began to use <Deep Pockets> to absorb as many books that contains a skill inside while leaving the rest intact only procuring them and when he obtained what he wanted he left the scene as well as change with some different clothing.

Leaving the area calmly and normally as possible Jack left Tukson Bookstore obtaining interesting levels of books for him to use as he smirked happily taking it all free of charge.
