Act 3, Scene 2

(Enter ROMEO)

ROMEO: Yo, what's up, guys? Where's my Juliet at?

(Enter JULIET's Mother)

JULIET'S MOTHER: Oh, hey Romeo! Juliet's upstairs getting ready. You know how she is.

ROMEO: Oh, don't I know it! She takes longer than my mom getting ready for church!

(Both laugh)

JULIET'S MOTHER: So, how have you been? I haven't seen you in a minute!

ROMEO: I've been good, just been chillin' on the couch watching Netflix and eating pizza. You know, the usual.

JULIET'S MOTHER: Ha, sounds like a good time. Hey, have you heard about this new dating app? It's called "Tinder".

ROMEO: Tinder? That sounds like something you start a fire with!

(Both laugh)

(Enter JULIET)

JULIET: Hey guys, what's so funny?

ROMEO: Nothing, we were just talking about this new app called "Tinder".

JULIET: Oh, I've heard of that. Swipe right for yes, swipe left for no, right?

ROMEO: Yeah, it's like a fast food drive-thru for dating.

(All laugh)

JULIET'S MOTHER: Okay, you two lovebirds, have fun! And be safe!

ROMEO: Always!

(Exit JULIET'S MOTHER)

JULIET: So, what do you have planned for us tonight?

ROMEO: I was thinking we could go to that new pizza place down the street. I heard they have a killer margherita pizza.

JULIET: Oh, that sounds amazing! Let's go!

(Exit ROMEO and JULIET)
