River ran a hand over his face as he hung up the phone. His eyes were worried and his lips pressed tightly together as he processed the information he had just received. This was bad really bad but it also meant that they were onto something big; more significant a fact than the one prior to it.

"What? what did he say?" Sydney snapped him out of his thoughts.

"Someone else is onto us, those guys yesterday they weren't the cops"

"Yeah, no shit I figured that out the minute I saw that rocket launcher they had pointed towards our heads, Shit Riv what did he say?"

"He looked through some of dad's old pictures the ones that were saved from the fire that day and he found a letter between them from some guy with the initials R.R he can't think of anyone though and neither can I"

"Okay, but what did the letter say?"

"Apparently during one of dad's trips to the sub-continent they were together and they had discovered some sort of shrine in India and had found something and I quote ' of substantial value' but this guy in the letter mentioned that secrecy must be maintained and they should meet at the 'good old place ' as soon as possible"

"The good old place? I don't know anything about a guy with the initials R.R or a place with a name of that sort. I remember him being very ecstatic a few days before his departure to India which- well which never happened because you know the fire and everything happened."

"We- we never found him you know" River looked directly at his uncle as he moved closer.

"River we've been over this please don't bring this up again"

"Sid! we never found his body and come to think of it all his clothes were missing and any evidence that would even slightly hint to his discoveries were all destroyed in that fire but the bedsheets were fine and so was most of the furniture despite being pure wood"

"So? So what? We searched for him for years we did everything we could don't you think I didn't notice all of this. The only reason I decided to stop was that it was taking us nowhere"

"I know but this just might lead us to some answers, Sid, we just need to think about this logically and try and link all of this because I know there is some sort of connection"

"Look River even if there is something there about my brother and your father we can't let this blind us from what we're doing who we really are and what we just encountered. Some bastards just tried to kill us and we don't even know why"

"You're right we need to look around this matter there is something we've clearly missed, perhaps this little piece of secluded history isn't a private discovery of dad's"
