"That feather belonged to a Phoenix?!"

Speaking while unable to conceal his shock due to how memories which most definitely didn't belong to him was forced inside his head, Li Feng was ninety percent sure that what he experienced was the legendary tracing back to the ancestors.

The very same thing which only the newborn beasts with the best bloodlines in the world experienced.

Tracing back to the ancestors. Just as the name implied, the newborn offsprings of Dragons, Phoenixes, and various other high level races would receive the memories of how their ancestors fought and along with it the various bloodline techniques which only those from their race could use.

Therefore, Li Feng who just witnessed a huge Phoenix which hid the skies with its wings and burnt an entire world into ashes was sure that he had experienced something which a newborn Phoenix should have.

But the question was, why did he?

After all, he most definitely wasn't a Phoenix. And even though he had never actually seen a Phoenix, Li Feng wasn't stupid enough to think that someone obtained the source blood of a Phoenix and gave it to him to obtain its bloodline.

Being a creature which stood at the apex of the universe itself and was rivalled by a mere handful of other races, there was no way such a thing could have happened.

So, where did the Phoenix blood inside his body come from?

At the thought of this, Li Feng remembered the beautiful red feather he always wore around his neck since the day he was born.

Was that a legendary Phoenix's feather?

Trembling a little not at the thought of this, but rather since more information was being forced inside his head, Li Feng upon opening his eyes the next time looked towards his Spirit Root which was completely different from the one he looked at while growing up,

Now he understood why his Innate Water Spirit Root had been forcibly mutated and turned red in colour.

The blood he obtained didn't belong to a normal Phoenix. No no, it was the blood of a Nirvana Phoenix!!!

A Phoenix which other than burning a world to ashes could rise from its own ashes!

As for how Li Feng knew, or realized this, it was due to the two techniques which he just received from the drop of blood.

Primordial Nine Suns Technique, and the Nine Nirvana Body.

One Qi Building Technique, and one Body Refining Technique. The very two techniques which every Nirvana Phoenix trained in.

Unable to hold back a smile which would make those who looked at feel as if the world itself was glowing, Li Feng in that moment completely forgot about everything that happened before this moment and focussed all of his attention on understanding the two techniques he received.

"Young master is… cultivating?"

Tilting her head due to both how shocked she was and unbelievable the words she spoke felt to her, Yu Yan didn't know what else to say when she saw Li Feng's breathing suddenly changing.

Absorbing large quantities of Qi from the air around him, Li Feng's pale body seemed like a blackhole which would not stop until it absorbed all the Qi around him.

Sucking in Qi nonstop, Li Feng didn't let Yu Yan relax at all and quickly turned her nervous and flustered out of fear due to how much Qi her young master was absorbing.

While there wasn't anything which limited people regarding how much Qi they should or can absorb, absorbing too much Qi was definitely frowned upon since it would lead to a gruesome death by their body exploding.

Therefore, how could Yu Yan not feel scared upon sensing how much Qi Li Feng who never cultivated before today was absorbing?

For heaven's sake, he didn't even possess a cultivation technique!!!

But just like before, there was nothing Yu Yan could do now either. Other than looking towards him with concern in her eyes, Yu Yan could do nothing at all other than praying that everything would be alright.

Breathing louder by the second as he took massive amounts of Qi inside his body yet let out nothing at all, Li Feng's body started showing signs of recovering due to which it no longer looked sickly pale and went back to his previous complexion.

At the same time, Yu Yan didn't notice it right away due to how much attention she was paying towards Li Feng's heartbeat, but now the change was too big for her to not notice.

Her young master's beautiful black hair had turned into a noble red colour!

Taking a step back, away from Li Feng because his body started turning hot and was causing her body which trained in Ice Qi just like her mistress distress and uncomfortability, Yu Yan's shock only kept on growing as flames sprouted out of nowhere and covered Li Feng's body entirely inside them.

Surprisingly, nothing on her young master's body, including his clothes was damaged under the assault of the red flames. Instead, a healthy glow surfaced on his skin and along with it a pleasant smile which proved that he wasn't under any pain and was feeling good.

Well, who could blame him?

His shattered heart and the veins connected to it were being healed miraculously under the flame which embraced his body.

Not only did this save Li Feng from certain death and gave him a second chance to live, at the same time Li Feng managed to complete one of the Nine Nirvanas needed for him to achieve to become a real immortal who would never die as long as there was even a speck of ash which belonged to him left behind.
