Nicole’s life was built on a lie

Chapter 11.

After the emperor and prince Robert greeted each other and were praising Lisa the emperor dressed Nicole. She felt that she would get the same wonderful greeting so see step up stating that she apologize for her pitiful look she stated that it was due to a misunderstanding with princess Lisa and that she was a bit harsh with her because the princess haven't forgiven her for stealing Prince Scott heart away from her and while Nicole was putting down Lisa while praising herself the emperor cut her off letting her know that being a saint is being a person filled with love and her word just know sound bitter.

The emperor then told her to step into the pool of truth so that they can see who is her parents and if she is truly a saint. Nicole was shocked that the emperor called her bitter and she wanted to say something to him regarding it but she felt that his attitude towards her was extremely cold and only if the empress or her mother was there one of them would be able to help her.

Nicole looked at her grandmother hoping that she would say something to the emperor speaking in her Nicole favor but her grandmother only held her head down and didn't even look at Nicole because she felt that Nicole should not have said that about the princess in front the emperor and she did not know why Nicole just won't watch her words and keep making trouble for herself.

Nicole was called by the official to walk in to the pool and she stepped up and then she walked into pool between the two parental columns and they lit up and the image of who Nicole parents was and with a bright light the image of her parents was clear and who the father was shocked everybody in the hall because it was not Paul but a carriage driver that worked for Jessica's parents residence. There was always rumors that Jessica thought that the carriage guy was cute and she had a crush on the guy and short after an incident in the residence the carriage guy was mored to a different family residence.

Nicole screamed out that it was not true and that her father is Paul and something must be wrong with the pool of truth. Nicole mother was dragged into the hall and Nicole looked back and saw her mother and the emperor yelled at the mother asking her if this is correct and Jessica tried to walk up to her daughter begging her to forgive her and that she loved her and only wanted to correct the mistake she made and give her a good father that she can look up to.

Paul stood there shocked and could not believe that Nicole was not his daughter and that Jessica lied to him and now he is in front the emperor and the truth of his family shame of having a evil woman like Jessica deceiving his family and lying to the emperor about Nicole being the saint. Paul knows that him and his family will be punished for Jessica lies and without him knowing what he was doing he reached out to Jessica and started coughing her.

Paul yelled out asking Jessica why would she do this to their family and that she was loved and cared for by him and she only lied to him and his family, he wanted to know why she chose him to deceive and to ruin his life and his family. The guards pulled Paul off Jessica and all she could do is fall to her knee begging the emperor to forgive her and her family and that they did not know anything it was her who as a child made a mistake and didn't know what to do and did the wrong thing and wasn't able to change it.

Nicole sat in the water hugging herself she couldn't believe that all her life was a lie and that not only the fact of not being the saint but she is the bastard child of a slave carriage driver. Nicole felt sick to her stomach and wanted to throw up while tears ran down her cheeks, she could not move or say anything neither could her grandmother or grandfather.

Her grandfather had a feeling that Nicole was not Paul's child but he felt she was a child of another noble family he did not know that her real father was a slave because being a bastard child of another noble family she still could marry the prince as a side concubine but being a child of a slave she wouldn't be able too and the all family can be in prisoned for deceiving the royal family with attempting to pollute the royal family bloodline.

The emperor looked down on Jessica telling her that her action know destroyed her whole family and they all will be thrown into prison for her selfish act. He told her that she was selfish and did not care that what she was doing would hurt other and even wanted to put a slave child into the royal family. The emperor told this guard to go to Jessica's parents residence and lock up everyone in that residence and they all will be in prisoned, charged and sentenced.

Jessica cried out begging for mercy for her family saying that they did not know what she did and if they did they would have stopped her she begged for the life of her parents and her siblings telling the emperor that she knows that she was wrong and she is willing to pay for her actions but her family is innocent and begs for mercy for them.

The emperor did not care about her pleads because he always wanted a reason to ruin her family because they were a supporter of the empress and by destroying that family will weaken the power of the empress. The emperor told Jessica that her family's distortion is caused by her actions and she needs to accept it. He also told the guards to remove Nicole out the pool and take her to a cell as well.

The fact the Paul and his family cut ties with Jessica save his family from ruin or they also would be thrown into prison. They were all on their knees at the time of the emperor was giving orders to his guards, their heads were touching the ground and shaking knowing that they could be next to be thrown into prison. The grandmother could not help but cry saying to herself that she was so wrong in welcoming Jessica into their residence she was never aware how evil and foolish Jessica was and that at first she felt that her husband was too harsh on her to kick her out the family and had Paul divorce her but now she is so grateful for that because if it was for that their family would be ruin just like Jessica's parents family.

Nicole was dragged off to jail but she was so shocked that she wasn't aware of what was going on she just went along with the guards even though they were speaking to her she did not answer she just had a blank shocked look on her face and tears running down her cheeks.

She was bought to a cell and pushed in, the guards laughed at her saying all this time she was a complete fake.

Nicole fall to the ground and her whole life flashed before her eyes, she was loved and praised as a saint and every young girl wanted to be her and every young man wanted to be with her. She couldn't believe that she was not a saint but the daughter of a slave carriage driver. She cried out cursing her mother asking why she could do this to her and it would be better if she wasn't born if her life would end like this.

She felt her mother should have told her so that she would better protect herself from other finding out. Nicole cursed Lisa because it was her who told everybody her Nicole mother's secret, she screamed out how did she know about all of it when Nicole lived all herself not knowing and why didn't her mother keep this secret buried deep into hell and just died with her shame.
