Chapter One: The Return

The room fills with silence as the principal of the school works up to the stage to make an announcements.

"Good day everyone, today we have a new scholarship student going by the name Dickson Jayden that will joining us today. I'll give him the stage now to introduce himself to the school" The principal addresses to everyone.

"Hi, nice to meet you guys, as you've already heard, I'm Dickson-" Jayden was saying before being interrupted by the gasp that filled the room.

The three elites of the school Athena, Axel, and Leon enters the room and seats down for the announcements.

Jayden awkwardly clears his throat and continues to speak "I'm Dickson Jayden and I hope to get along with all of you"

"Who is this new clown that has joined the school and now trying o befriend people of higher status than him" One of Athena's minions says with disgust as she looks at Jayden smiling and trying to make friends.

"I don't know who he is but he looks like a puppy when he smiles" Athena says as she scans Jayden head to toe.

"By the way have you guys been able to contact Evelyn? She left to Canada for the holidays and didn't even leave a text behind" Axel says with a puzzled expression.

"I've been trying to call her and she isn't even picking my calls.. I'm kind of worried" Athena adds in.

"Can't believe she left to New York, without a single word to us" Axel scuffs in disbelief.

Leon stares at the principal who is still talking about other school related matters coldly as he wonders why his girlfriend suddenly disappears and has been ignoring everyone's calls.

"Assembly's dismissed, you may all go back to your respective classes" The principal announces to everyone but then no one stands up except Jayden.

"Hey what do you think you're doing? Don't you know that no one dares to stand up and leave before the elites do..." A boy behind Jayden whispers yells to him.

"And what sort of dumbass rule is that" Jayden says while turning around to face him.

"It's not a rule but who dares walks out before the elites do" The boy response back.

"Me" Jayden says and with that he stands up from his sit with one of his hands in his trousers' pocket and walks out.

The room fills with murmured whispers as everyone stares in awe as to how a scholarship student could walk out of the room before the elites.

Jayden smirks to himself as he walks upstairs to the rooftop to take in some air. He gets up to the rooftop and scans the school taking in some air as he reminds himself of why he came to this school.

**FLASHBACK**

Alexander is running away from the bullies that are chasing after him when he storms into the back stair case to sees Axel and his teacher Mrs Kaly making out. 

"Alexander, Alex, Alex come back here let me explain what you just saw" The teacher calls out to Alexander as he is running down the stairs.

He then bumps into the bullies he has been running away from.

"GET HIM" one of the bullies yells out to Alexander's hearing.

Running out of the building the party onto the street to try escape from the people running after him, Alexander runs into an alley way unknown to him that someone was still chasing him.

"Everybody in this school is fuckin' insane...they've all gone mad" Alexander says out lout to himself as he is running away from a building, he picks up his phone as he is trying to dial his brother Jayden's phone but he doesn't pick up. He notices that he is being chased by someone but doesn't see who. He continues to run through the dark alley way as he is trying to call his brother, who finally picks up the phone.

"Hello Alex, what's up?" Jayden askes his older brother.

"Hello, Jayd-" Alexander answering to his brother, gets hits by a car.

"Alex..? You there?" Jayden stutters as he heard the sound of an accident through the phone.

TWO HOURS LATER.. AT THE HOSPITAL

Jayden with swollen eyes and tears still dripping, stares at the lifeless corpse of his older brother right in front of him. Knowing now that the only family he has left too has died Jayden feels devasted and lost. He clutches unto his brother's bracelet that was given to him by the police officers he lets out little sniffs and vows to himself to bring his brother's murderer to justice by all means possible.

**FLASHBACK ENDS**

"I will avenge your death Alex" Jayden says before leaving the rooftop to go to his class.

At the hallway, Jayden is trying to find someone that will direct him to his history class when he sees a boy by the locker and approaches him.

"Hi, please would you mind telling me where the history class is.. I don't know where it is" Jayden says hoping to get a response from him. But the boy just looks at him disgustingly and walks off.

"How rude" Jayden says to himself while scanning the hallway to see if he can find a way to his class.

"Heard you were looking for your history class. My girls will take you there" Alexa says to the lost looking boy.

"Oh thank you" Jayden says as he smiles widely at Alexa.

"Put in your phone number" Alexa tells Jayden as she stares at him and hands over her phone to him.

"There you go" Jayden hands over the phone back to Alexa.

As Jayden enters he feels all eyes gawking at him. He takes a sit at the first sit he saw and seats there.

"Oi, that's my sit, get off" A girls says rudely to Jayden.

"My bad, here have the sit" Jayden says awkwardly to the girl and goes behind that sit to sit on.

"That's my friend sit" The girl chips in.

Scanning through the class he finds an empty sit beside a boy, walking towards that direction and known to the boy that he is coming there, the boy places his bag onto the chair. He finally sees a chair at the extreme back of the class that is somewhat tacky and old and sits there since that was the only available sit left.

"Good morning, class today's morning classes have been cancelled" Mrs Kaly comes in and announces and leaves the class.

Few minutes later, Athena receives a phone call from Evelyn.

Side note: Evelyn called Athena that she will be arriving back from New York today.

"Hello Evelyn, have you arrived already?" Athena askes Evelyn.

"No not yet, I'm just entering the jet my dad sent for me to come back with... I called just to remind you to come to the airport to pick me up" Evelyn tells Athena over the phone. 

"Okay I'll be heading to the airport now" Athena says to Evelyn then hangs up the phone.

*40MINS AFTER(AT THE AIRPORT)*

"Evelynn!!" Athena screams out loud excitedly as she spots Evelyn coming out from the arrival section.

"Why did you suddenly disappear to the States and stopped responding to I and the others texts?" Athena askes as she scolds her best friend for not telling her of her whereabouts.

"I have a family event right now, call the others so we could meet up at the oval tracks" Evelyn coldly tells her best friend as she walks off ignoring Alexa's question.

*Time Skip: At Evelyn's Home*

"You have such a beautiful daughter Mrs Will...she looks just like you" the guest says to Evelyn's mother

"I wouldn't say she looks like me...she looks a lot more beautiful" Evelyn's mother laughs with a little bit of sarcasm hinted at Evelyn.

Evelyn's father laughs it off and they continue to discuss business related issues.

While sat on the chair, Evelyn notices the boy playing the piano and how beautifully he played the piano. Bored and tired Evelyn excuses herself and leaves the table.

While walking to her room she is stopped by her father's voice.

"Evelyn stop" Evelyn's father says to her.

Stopped in her tracks, she slowly turns to her father to ask what happened, but before she could open her mouth to speak, he slaps her.

"Why are you dressed like that? How many times will I have to tell you to dress more elegantly like your mom does" He says to her.

"You mean stepmom" Evelyn says coldly as she stares at her father.

"What did you just say? Do you want to end up like your slutty mother did... ANSWER ME" Evelyn's father yells out to her.

"Sorry father I will go change" Evelyn almost whispers as she is afraid she will end up hidden up like her mother currently is.

"While you're at it change that nasty lipstick color. It looks tacky" Her father says as he walks off.

Feeling frustrated, Evelyn heads to the garden to go smoke off her anger. While she was there smoking she notices the same boy that was playing the piano stealing glances at her. 

"What are you looking at?" She askes him as she unbuttons her shirt and throws it at the ground.

"Uhm I'm the pianist...My name is Jayden and I got a gig to play here" Jayden says to her.

"Mhm...figured, btw can I have your shirt I have somewhere to be and I'm not fully clothed" She responds back as she walks up to him.

"Uh if I give you my shirt what am I supposed to wear then" Jayden looks confused by the sudden question thrown at his face.

Evelyn starts walking off to leave her home frustrated that Jayden isn't giving her a straight answer.

"Wait... Here have it" Jayden says as he unbuttons his shirt to give to her.

"Thanks" Evelyn says as she throws on the shirt and walks off.

*AT THE OVAL TRACKS*

"So Evelyn just came back and asked you to tell us to come here?" Axel askes Athena.

"Yup... btw where's Leon? Isn't he like supposed to be the first one to be here since his girlfriend's back?" Athena questions Axel.

"He's close by I think" Axel responds.

While Axel and Athena were talking Leon suddenly walks in.

"Where is she? Hope this isn't some prank Athena" Leon askes Athena with a little bit of frustration hinted in his voice.

"I'm right here" Evelyn says as she walks into the tracks.

"Evelyn, where tf have you been? Why haven't you been responding to my text and calls" Leon grabs onto her arms and askes her.

Evelyn brushes his hands off herself and says "if you want answers, we will have to race. Winner gets to say what they want to and the other has to oblige by what the winner says" 

The whole group looks at her a little bit confused and concerned on where this is heading towards.

"Sure let's race" Leon says with a determining voice.

Both Leon and Evelyn go gets change into racing outfits and hop into the car of their choice. 

"3, 2, 1, GO!!!" Athena screams as she blows the horn for the race to begin.

Driving through the race tracks, Leon is ahead, sifting left and right to stop Evelyn from over taking him, looking through the sideview mirror of his car, Leon doesn't see the unexpected turn and makes a sharp stop, using that opportunity, Evelyn zooms past him drifting round the turn and speeds off to the finish line and wins.

"Damn...Can't believe Evelyn was driving that fast" Axel says to Athena.

"For realll... she must have really wanted that win" Athena adds in.

Leon reaches the finish line, comes out of the car and runs up to Evelyn "What the hell was that? You were driving so recklessly right now"

"I won, now you have to do as I say" Evelyn says brushing off Leon's concern.

"....Let's break up Leon" Evelyn says as she looks him dead in his eyes with no emotions and walks off without waiting for a response from Leon.
