chapter 2:meet the family

Thomas: "brother your late the fight is about to start come stand next to me"

max: "yes brother"

I stood next to him then a ring sounded from the side of the ring the fight has started

I know Arthur had anger issues from the show but I didn't know it started from his youth, he wasn't strong per se but he fought like a mad dog trading a punch for a punch that's not where the problem is he loses his sanity sometimes he will hit whatever is close to him,

I don't want to be the unlucky bastard that is fighting him, he looks young so he is inexperienced in this type of fight, he is either doing it for the money or was threatened to do it but it's most likely for the money in this parts of tawn

the whole fight has been orchestrated by Tommy, he told Arthur to lose on purpose but he knows Arthur well that will never happen either because Arthur wants to appear as the head of the family but he isn't that much of a thinker and his thinking is predictable so when Tommy ask him to do something his just making appearances for the crowd to bet on the other man so Tommy can win more money from the bet knows how his brother will react he will either try to think too much or lose it

and that's what happened exactly, Arthur lost it and won by beating his opponent half dead

that's when I knew Tommy is a manipulative fox he will predict and use people to get what he wants, he will use any means necessary to get it even using his own family thought he most of the time is cleaning after them and protecting them it's a good thing I am part of the family otherwise I would be enemies with him because two tigers can't share the same mountain.

after the fight ended we took Arthur who is pretty beaten up back home on the way Arthur and Tommy argued

Arthur: "Tommy you fucking bastard why didn't you tell me before the fight"

Tommy: "it doesn't matter now does it we are rich, I will buy you a drink later"

Arthur: "it does matter Tommy we are family you need to ask before you do anything like this in the future"

Tommy: "okay okay let's go back home and get you some rest you earn it you look horrible "

before entering the house Tommy caught my hand and told me not to tell mother and aunt Polly about this and if they ask about Arthur tell them he fell

after entering the house we found aunt Polly playing with a baby john when she saw Arthur she directly asked: "what the hell happened to you Arthur"

Arthur: "nothing happened I just fell and hit my head "

Polly: "you are still too young to lie to me little boy I was lying before you were born now tell me what happened and save me and yourself the trouble and the time"

Thomas: "I will tell you but on one condition don't tell our mother she worries too much"

Polly: "I will not tell if you promise me you will not do it again"

Thomas: "you and I both know that won't happen"

Polly: "fine just tell me at least I will know"

Thomas: "it was a fight in the pit we made a lot of money"

Polly: "so you want to tell me that you got your brother beaten up for you to bet and win some money if I didn't know you better I would have thought that you even care about any of your family"

Thomas: " don't be dramatic about it it will be the last time he will have to fight this money is for the family, after all, we will invest it in business for the family to grow there need to be sacrifices"

Polly: " don't bullshit me Tommy you sound like a hypocritic politician "

Thomas looked at her in the eyes for a while without speaking a word then turned around and left.
