"Nu Yanyan, it's about my son,He Duming"Suddenly the interest and intrigue vanished away from Nu Yanyan mind immediately He Duming's name was mentioned.

"Anything about your son isn't my problem. You can meet his new fiancee Nu Liyu to discuss that".

"Yan...Nu Yanyan, i know it hurts to see your sister with your ex but He Duming life depends on it".

Nu Yanyan felt like bursting into laughter hearing what Li Li had said,only when she managed to control herself did she speak"Do you think your son is the most important person in my life,am glad him and Nu Liyu got together. They both exhibit similar characters and if his life is on the line,like i said before,am not the right person for you to come and meet"She said slowly so that Li Li could understand.

Li Li face fell"Just hear me out. Nu Liyu is planning something on my son but he seems possessed or something. She had thought that if she used the pitiful face,Nu Yanyan would have no choice but to accept her but hearing her voice of mockery,she felt defeated.

"I know the secret to your mother's death"Li Li said standing up,she had no choice but to use malevolent means to get what she wants. She couldn't let Nu Liyu destroy her son's future,in as much as she hates Nu Yanyan,she had to admit that she had her son under control back when she was with them.

Nu Yanyan froze up, seeming stuck in place. She would chose Lu Jingze without thinking twice but her mother,she never grew with her mother but she could still remember the love her mother showed her.

Her father was always at the Nu corporation to notice her,her mother always looks after her,make sure she's well fed and always takes her for a walk every evening.

But two years later,Nu Yanyan came back from school and saw that her mother was nowhere to be found. Nu Yanyan was just three years old,her father didn't explain to her about what happened and the next day.

Barely two days after her mother got missing,he brought a woman and a daughter that was three years older than Nu Yanyan.

However because of the motherly figure Nu Yanyan lacked,she learnt to accept Qin wei and Nu Liyu,not knowing they only saw her as a tool.

Her father was blinded to see the evil ways of Qin wei and her daughter,he became more distant thay he hardly even acknowledge Nu Yanyan's greetings.

After long persuasion,Nu Lin,Nu Yanyan father decided tp get her married.

Thinking back to those memories made Nu Yanyan grit her teeth,she clenched her fists tightly,if she had long fingernails,she probably would have punctured her palm.

"No need, I'll find out by myself"Li Li smirked hearing her answer.

"Okay,when you're ready. You know where you'll find me. Won't you walk me to the door?"Li Li flashed a smile.

"It would be my pleasure"Nu Yanyan said falsely as she walked with Li Li towards the door. When Li Li was already outside,she paused"Think about it,what your family refuse to tell you. I'll reveal it in an heartbeat, just for one measley favor".

"Thank you for your offer"Li Li smiled and turned to leave.
