Nie Long ' Chaos Law - What is Chaos!? ' No matter how hard he tried Nie Long was unable to comprehend this law no matter How hard he tried. Year after year where three years passed by as he slowly started comprehending the other laws but he was unable to understand the Chaos.

One day when he was trying to figure out Aconologia and what is special compared to others. He had a realization, the main point is it can consume all the element in existence, he slowly came to realize that Chaos is collection of all energies in its primordial form i.e it is the mother of all elements. In the birth of the universe Primordial form i.e Chaos births all the other elements and in the Destruction of a Universe all the elements return to its Primordial form which is Chaos.

Chaos is the embodiment of both creation and destruction. And this is also the reason for Aconologia to move towards the character loving Destruction in the Fairy Tail World. Nie Long gradually understands Chaos more and more. with this his other laws understanding also become deep along with it.

Arc of Time - Time Law

As Chaos Law understanding increases, Nie Long found an important factor. i.e his time law never improved. He tried to understand why time is not in the element list since Chaos is the primordial of all elements. Then he became sure that time is independent of Chaos. So he thought then how the time can be understand and what is the element which the time depends upon. Slowly found another element which is independent of Chaos - Space/Void.

Nie Long was enlightened, he started to understand time, he started comparing Time & Space with water." If Space is still Water then time is moving Water. Movement of Space is Time " Which explains rotation and revolution of planets . Expansions of Universe . And this further made his Conjecture true. "

When he used his Arc of Time magic, he was able to move the Time of a certain object easily compared to a small area. The amount of power increases when the area increases . This is the reason Urtear sacrificed all her powers and existence but it can be moved only one minute backwards for the Entire World. As She was trying to reverse the flow of the entire planet. It can be easily explained by energy required to reverse a tap water flow to reverse the river water flow backwards.

Like that Nie Long used Thirteen years to consolidate the demon spirits and his Arc of Time magic. This also gives great cover from Dark Guild recognizing his talent while he is building a strong foundation for his spirits without anyone interfering with his affairs.
