Brandon and Amber exchanged glances.
Then Amber nodded, which followed by Brandon immediately push open the door.
Right at that very moment, a black figure moved overhead past them.
Something crawled and crept out of the door then moving upwards, while stick on the wall.
It moved to the 2nd floor of a house that was full of messy things and furniture strewn around.
Brandon who saw that immediately used Origin Spell, “Ezetra Inosus” (Lucent) which he aimed right at the path of the fast-moving black figure.
At that instant, the wall in front of the black figure gave off a bright light that enveloped the room they were occupying.
The black figure also felt a pain that seemed to tear a part of its soul, from the light that shine upon it.
*Kraaaaa* It screamed.
While Amber who saw the black figure, also immediately used the First level Rune, (Fetter).
The black figure then seemed to bound by something that eye can touch.
Then it fell where they had been standing, as Brandon and Amber were simultaneously and in sync, also dodging by moving back quickly.
The figure crash over on the ground, but didn't make the slightest sound as it hit the floor.
The true form of the black figure then revealed.
A Spirit that had its head split in the middle, revealing its split brain. With blood dripping, but not fall down and leaving marks on the floor.
It was as if the blood was dripping down, only to flow back up again.
Its entire body was pale and bluish-purple.
Its left ankle was cut to reveal roughly chopped bones, and the grayish flesh with a little bit of fat stuck to it, that was pale yellowish in color, as if something had grilled the leg over a fire, right after it was cut off...
