Chapter 1New Beginning

Inside a seemingly normal forest, a weak breeze passes by hitting an unconscious youth face, his closed eyes quivered and he opened them shortly after.

After feeling dizzy for a while, Adam recovered his senses and asked out loud.

"Where is this place?" He started looking around.

"A forest?"

His head was full of questions, like where is he, why is he here, etc. Adam suddenly felt a slight headache and memories of what happened came back to him.

"So I died huh..." What he remembered is the scene of a speeding car crashing in his family car, feeling pain, and his vision fading.

His name was Adam Walker, a normal high school boy with a normal family. He stood up when a cold, mechanical voice startled him:

"Mage System starting..."

"Congratulations on being the first host of the mage system"

"Huh!?" Adam almost fell down. After a slight shock, he said:

"A system, seriously.." He started wondering if he truly died or was in a dream.

"System, where I am?"

"Host is in Azure Sky continent year 211, in Shabu forest nearing Red Jade city"

"It's really another world" Adam smiled wryly while accepting reality.

'No wait, why I am accepting things so easily?' He suddenly realized.

"System did you do something to me?"

"System modified host emotions a little bit to make host accept reality fast."

"Hmmm.." although the system modifying his emotions enraged and scared him a little, he chooses to not complain since all it has done it's make him accept reality. Besides, he has no one in his past world he cares about to the extent of wanting to go back. The only ones he cared that much died in the car accident. Adam did not realize that he was not feeling any sadness he was supposed to feel towards his parent's death.

'Hmm my body has not changed, not even my clothes' he suddenly decided to try something.

"System can you show status?" A game-like virtual screen appeared in front of him.

Host: Adam Walker

Magic Power: 0

Level: Not a mage yet

Spells: None

"How do I level up?" Adam asked.

"By doing missions and getting rewarded, meditating, or studying spells"

Adam felt like he had no time to meditate and he doesn't have any spells so he asked:

"What missions do I need to do?"

"Currently there's only one mission: Beginner Mission meditate until you feel magic power, Reward: Promotion to Apprentice Mage, Apprentice Mage Robe, Apprentice Mage Staff and a Low-level spell."
