Before 'It' Started

Giovanni left the room, leaving Kai all alone in the empty classroom. He has more duties to do as he is the vice-president of the student council unlike an ordinary student like Kai.

As soon as he left, a long (kiseru) pipe appeared in Kai's right hand. Smoke began to escape from its bowl.

Kai dropped her carefree look as if it is just putting away a mask. Her eyes are slanted as she sat down on a teacher's table. She put her lips on the pipe's mouthpiece and began to smoke.

She has completely thrown away the carefree student she was. Anyone who saw her would be shocked.

The person in front of them has this completely matured yet cold aura surrounding her. Her lips were slightly smiling as if she was only playing with you. Yet her eyes gave a bored and lost yet unapproachable aura. Along with the pipe in her hand, anyone would bet that the woman in front of them is at her mid-twenties rather than correctly guessing her right age.

But even though with that, Kai still look youthful even though she has this matured side of hers.

Even though Giovanni has left, no before they entered here, she has already put a sound-proof barrier, stronger and at the same time, unnoticed by anyone.

It was quite pitiful that she has to nurture her powers again all over to the beginning. If she were to have her former might, she doesn't even have to go through to all of that and just directly brainwash him. Though it is a lowly spell, it is enough to handle a small fry like him.

None. She has done nothing except fighting against the cruel fate.

Kai looks outside the window as she saw them fighting in a game with one another. It's almost pitiful that Kai knew many of them will die.

This reality is nothing a game.

Those, who treated this as a game and acted upon its fate, are considered lucky to be alive. But those who acted against it can only be served with a cruel life and death.

Please, to those who will act against, follow this cursed fate.

I can only wish you luck. Even I cannot do anything.

Kai's eyes are focused upon a certain youth. He was standing there with a smile, without knowing what will be the 'future' be like.

Yet out of all people, he is the only one who is true upon himself and hasn't change throughout the ending.

True to himself, true to his character.

Unfortunately, he will only die if he strayed upon his intended path.

He is one of the main characters in this game.
