Random One Shots

My hand reached over, trying to touch the face projected on the water. The sight that's constantly pushing me over the edge. The forbidden fruit I longed to taste.

But as my fingers touched the surface, the image disappears. Ripples disrupting the beauty, destroying it. Rage and despair gripped me once more as I lashed out at the water. Pulling my hair and screaming, I turned my attention to the water and started my attack.

Grass, rocks, mud, anything I could throw into the surface to get the attention of the of my heart's desire. I breathed heavily and not long after I blacked out.

After a while, sanity returned back to me. I looked up and saw nothing but darkness. The only light I could see were from insects. Panicking, I hurriedly leaned over. No longer seeing the face I've yearned I shouted anxiously.

Throughout the night I called for my lover. No longer caring about anything else since I've gazed upon the beauty in the water. Slowly losing consciousness as the first rays of daylight slowly rose. Wanting to see once more, I fixed myself and slowly peered.

Seeing the smile despite my tired eyes I relished in the feeling before closing my eyes. My head fell straight into the water. My senses numbed bit by bit, but right then, I felt it.

Feeling a light caress, as if coaxing me, filled me with delight. I did not care that my nose and mouth slowly filled with liquid. I did not care that I could no longer open my eyes. All I knew was that my love was finally here.
