Prologue

"Teacher Vani is here!" One of the boys suddenly shouted after he look at the window beside the hallway. It was the lookout of the class.

Everyone quickly went to their proper sit and the room immediately became quiet. A clacking sound of heels sounded and a beautiful lady appeared. Her maroon hair is tier in a tight pony tail, her lips painted in dark red, her eyes tinted with sweet pink, and her body hugged by her formal suit.

It was her usual color theme, red.

She is the teacher of the elite class, Section 1 Grade 12.

Her fierce and mature aura dominated this room full of prospective geniuses of the school. Only a soul awakened woman like her can control them. No one knows what Star Rank Level she is, but the people in the room knew that it must be at least on the master rank.

"Today, I will discuss about the various factions, clubs, and academies of our Earth Union."

Everyone exclaimed in excitement at her words.

Genesis widened her eyes in glee as she waited for the teacher's next words. This lesson apparently caught everyone's interest.

"After you awakened your Soul Talent, everyone will choose their own path base on your acquired abilities and goals. Now, this lesson is for you to understand more about the society so that you can decide better and not be muddled in your choices." Her eyes swept every student as she spoke.

Every students listened carefully, no one dare to ask a question or whisper on their classmate.

"The greatest force of Earth is the Earth Union that was established in the Chaos and Order Era Calendar Year 50. They are the ones who manage the whole planet and bind every faction. They are composed of our Earth's very powerful Soul Warriors and knowledgeable Soul Professors in a council who is the main decision maker of the Earth."

"There are many factions such as the military, various clans and financial groups, the Soul Professor Association, Soul Warrior Guild, the Academies, and many more...

Now, let me introduce to you the Clubs. Clubs are formed so that the limited resources can be fought with fairly. You should know that Clubs has three teams, the Rookie, Junior, and Master teams that will fight for different leaderboards. They are the face of the various clubs, so the resources they get is not something you can imagine. Most soul warriors enter different clubs so that they can get support before entering academies and while studying in academies. The club has their own benefits to their members such as..."

"Now, the Academies. The Academies are divided into two; the Soul Warrior Academy and Soul Professor Academy. Every country has the two academy. The soul warrior academy is where combat type soul awakened enters. This academy focus on strength and power. While soul professor academy is where auxiliary and healing type soul awakened enter. They focus on knowledge and being functional."

"All of the countries academy has their own difference and good points. Let's start with our Labyrian Academy. Labyrian Warrior Academy is known for their comprehensive soul pet race. Labyrian Professor Academy is known for their environment and habitat knowledge, contributing to various subject for investigation, research and more."

"Remisce Warrior Academy is known for their mechanical race soul pet. Remisce Professor Academy is known for their various technology such as the popular hovercraft and quantum."

"Skylar Warrior Academy is known for their flying-race soul pet. Skylar Professor Academy is known for their soul pet breeding base and techniques. It was said that most of the Soul Professor focus on taking care of soul pet eggs that their facilities are all egg-shaped."

"Forrester Warrior Academy is known for their insect and plant race soul pet. Forrester Professior Academy is famous for their unique and exotic alchemy and nurturing ability."

"Everend Warrior Academy is known for their different ice element soul pet. Everend Professor Academy is known for creating various body cultivation technique that is said to be suitable for both human and soul pet."

"Oredom Warrior Academy is known for their team formation and soul pet compatibility. Oredom Professior Academy is known for their holy artifacts and forging techniques."

"Islander Warrior Academy is known for their aquatic race soul pet and ferocious fighting style. Islander Professor Academy is known for their runes and formation knowledge."

"The Mythos Warrior Academy is known for their beast race soul pets. While the Mythos Professor Academy is know for soul pet evolution."

"After you awakened, you will surely enter Labyrian Academy. For those who didn't awaken, don't give up and look for opportunities. The world has many miracles."

With that, she took a deep look to every student. The students showed determined and aspiring expression at her words, deeply feeling the hope of the higher ups.

The lesson ended and everyone started to prepare for the combat class for the afternoon. As they are graduating class, their lessons only revolve around soul star knowledge and combat in preparation to the soul awakening ceremony. Even the students who doesn't have interest in combat doesn't have a choice but to practice.

As for the students who didn't awaken? They will go to study in other universities that focus on different thing from soul related things. Of course, if they are outstanding enough, maybe they can enter companies or institutions related to soul pets.

Majority of people are not awakened, but the soul pets are almost integrated in every part of human life.

Genesis changed into her combat uniform, her best friend, Stormie Locsin started talking, "Even though I already know what Teacher Vanessa said, I still feel amaze. I can already imagine myself entering the new Rookie Team of a club and receiving fame and fortune." She said that with twinkling eyes like she can really see it.

Genesis laughed at her appearance and followed, "Then we will be known as goddess of war."

"Twin Goddess of War!" Stormie corrected her as she combed her short puple hair aside.

Laughing softly, Genesis agreed helplessly to her, "Yes, yes..."

Their classmates seemed to hear their words and joined in the fun, "Then I'll be Sword of Raging Flame!"

"F*ck! Then I'll be the God of Swallowing Waves."

Everyone made their own title just like those powerful soul warrior and professor of Earth Union as they went to do their practice. The instructor just watched them joke around while pointing out their mistakes in practice.

The people who are on the Leaderboard have their own title base on their specialty. Thus the title they joke around. Of course, the powerful people that reached the Master rank and above are the ones whose title have real power.

"Did you watch the battle of Junior Leaderboard last night? It was so intense that I wanted to awaken that instant!" The lookout classmate said excitedly as he waved his blade base on his usual training.

"Gods Summit Club's Captain Arend is still the best! He took down 3 members of the challenger team alone!"

"You didn't see Divine Phoenix Club's Captain Mira! Her Miracle Holy Phoenix saved her teammates from death. You should know that almost every ultimate attack of Captain Arend claim life!"

"Tsk, tsk, unfortunately, they failed to take away the 1st ranking of Junior Leaderboard. The finals is about to end."

"Then after the finals, the top tiers club's team is advancing to Master Leaderboard right?"

"Yes, and that means the top tier clubs will form a new Rookie Team."

Those words made everyone's eyes brighten, especially Genesis and Stormie.

The combat class ended and everyone went home. Genesis went home with her little brother Dionysus and they were fetched by their eldest brother Leviticus.

"How's your day?" Levi asked as the hovercar started. It can be both automatic or manual but Levi prefers manual as he is fond of driving and taking control. The hovercar was meters above ground and flew steadily.

Genesis turned to her little brother Dio indicating that he answer fist, "Just the usual." He said then asked, "Brother, where's your soul pet?"

Levi chuckled, "Which one?"

Dio exclaimed, "Of couse, it's Mobius! I haven't met your other soul pet!"

Mobius was her brother's Innate Soul Pet. They didn't know what Star Rank Level it is but it already evolved three times. Also, Levi's other soul pets are hidden by him. They only that he is already a Elite Rank awakened. That means he can already contract 4 soul pet incuding Mobius.

Levi laughed and summoned his soul pet, the Mobius Wind. "Come out, Buddy. Someone's excited to see you."

A faintly discernible figure appeared, it was like the manifestation of wind. Gentle yet powerful, unbound yet loyal.

"Mobius!" Dio smiled as the two started talking and playing at the side. Levi turned to Genesis, "How about you, Princess? How's your day?"

Genesis smiled softly and said in her usual gentle voice, "Well, its quite wonderful. Our teacher discuss about the factions, clubs and academies."

"Hmm, that's good. The awakening is only a week away. Afte awakening, you will get in touch with the various forces soon."

Genesis nodded at his words.

"Then, what do you think? Which club and academy do you prefer?" Levi continued asking. Dio and Mobius also listened carefully at the side.

"Of course our Labyrian Academy. Although not outstanding in any aspects, it was comprehensive that it has no weakness. Also for the club, I prefer the top tiers club of our country such as Gods Summit Club."

Levi nodded at her words and said, "Hmm, that's good. Labyrian doesn't look outstanding but once you get in touch with the real soul world, you'll know that they also have their own advantage others don't have."

Then, he smiled at her meaningfully at the mirror.

Genesis narrowed her eyes at him and smiled brightly.

Soon, I'll know it.

They arrived.

The next day, more classes about the student's choice are being taught and the combat class load are lightening, saying that they only need to be in good shape. Any more will not be good.

Everyone just waited for the awakening day to arrive. Days passed by and the most awaited day for the Grade 12 students came.

It was the Soul Awakening Day.

The day when their fate will change.
