Twenty years prior to the main story,the earth witnessed the destruction of Mars. This lead to the martians fleeing to earth to seek refuge but we're greeted with hostility and a war began between the humans and the martians due to a misunderstanding. After months of fighting between the two factions,a mysterious phenomenon known as rifts appears during their conflicts results in an alien race invading the planet. The human and martians form a truce to band together to defeat a common enemy. The result of the truce led to the release of Martian technology known as rigs into the world from everyone to use and the establishment of the an organisation known as Ghuns. People who joined the association learnt the secret behind rigs which is synchronisation and this lead to the aliens to forcefully retreat into the rift even though they didn't disappear after a month of struggles. Weeks later, the humans and martians resolve the conflict after discovering the reasons for the unannounced migration to be earth. The appearance of rifts became apparent and people who through the power of rigs began to appear on the scene to protect the earth, the these people were known as 'Ghunas'.

Chapter 2.5

"Ow,before I tell you where you have been posted, let me also explain how the rifts work" Lade said adjusting her spectacles.

Looking through the window,she explained "Rifts are unknown phenomenons that appeared during the war which lead to aliens invading the earth temporarily. With the help of rigs and uniting with the martians" turning to look at everyone "we managed to push them bavk into the rifts again temporarily. Occasionally,a rift opens up causing raids all over the world ".

Folding her arms heaping her breasts " the organisation known as Ghuns decided to establish most of their bases within the rift. That was the easiest way to fight the aliens with everything we had without engaging civilian lives"

" Over the period, our researchers observed 5 different locations within the rift,each with their own unique gravitational field at work. These locations are called grounds".

" The first is known as ground E, famously known as the beginner's den but its real name is the wild evergreen. A rift connected to a vast forest with gravitational fields similar to that of earth".

" The next is ground D, scavenger's rove,a gray land with constant night covering the landed which has similar gravitational fields similar to that of Mars."

"The third is ground C, the floating lands. A place with islands levitating in the air with nothing support them. Its gravitational field is similar to that of the moon"

"Then we have ground B, the great ocean. A vast ocean bigger than anything seen on earth, it has a unique gravitational field which is constantly changing making there the most unpredictable of the five grounds"

" Finally,we have ground A, the dead lands. A barren land with a rocky landscape with close to no tree insight. It has only a few places with water bodies which are scarce with the heaviest gravitational field currently known".

" So knowing this and the results of your test,each one of you have been assigned to the place that suit your abilities and help with your progress as a ghuna"

Without waiting time ,Niko began to inform them of where they had been posted, " first on the list is Tash,you have been assigned to ground E,you will be working under Lade". Tash looked at Lade and she looked right back at him and winked.

"Next is Rezo, assigned to ground D, Marco assigned to ground C, Winny assigned to ground B and Pipi assigned to ground A".

" Before we leave,take this" Niko giving them what seemed like a watch "this shows that you are officially Ghunas" saying so as her stood up.

"Since everything is done now,you can rest for a while, return home and come back after a week,you all have been discharged"Lade said walking towards the door and leaving with Niko. As they left , everyone just fell on their bed a made at sigh of relief. Minutes later, everyone had dressed up and made ready for their departure. They all said their goodbyes to each other and finally went their separate ways.

Rezo arrived infront of his orphanage to see Marget sitting in front of the building. As Marget saw him, she rushed to embrace him looking all worried. "Welcome home Rezo" she said looking at him. She couldn't stop crying and gives him a warm hug.Rezo smiled back and is relieved as they both entered the orphanage.
