The explanation

The disciples and everyone else were confused as to why Licht said they were not going to absorb the fragments and what leveling up meant.

"Tenebrea and I spoke, and we came up with a theory that was the most plausible," Licht said solemnly.

Everyone, including the holy beasts, listened attentively as Licht and Tenebrea never spoke about the person they called "Old Geezer".

~Several millennia ago~

A silver-haired man sat cross-legged, and his aura encompassed several kilometers. All of a sudden, the golden aura became turbid and settled down like nothing had just happened. He opened his eyes, and those silver eyes glimmered.

"Finally, I have reached the peak, but why do I feel suppressed? It seems like there's something blocking me. Doesn't matter. Nothing can hold me down." He closed his eyes, and the gentle aura became turbid once more. This time, it did not settle down immediately. It was like that for days, weeks, and even months.

The beasts that were the original occupants of the area had either run away in fear or died. Finally, it became gentle once more, and the man smiled.

"There's still more, but the wall is stronger." As he spoke, thunder sounded, and the clouds started to swirl.

A voice resounded in his mind every time the thunder clapped.

"YOU HAVE BROKEN THROUGH THE BARRIER. I MADE YOU TOO POWERFUL AND HOPED YOU'D BE THE ONE TO AVENGE ME, BUT YOU'RE TOO DOMINEERING. I AM SORRY, BUT I MUST END YOUR THREAT TO MY LIFE, MY CHILD. NOW STAY STILL AS I SMITE YOU."

The silver-haired man looked at the cloud that formed a face and was about to consume him. Lightning poured out of that giant being's mouth, bathing the silver-haired man in Lightning.

He was being burned alive as he screamed in pain. He was born with the ability to mimic other attributes but never had one of his own, but as he was being struck by lightning, something changed inside him. The lightning stopped hurting and was changing from its dark blue color to a golden one.

His injuries started to heal, and he yelled in anger, "Your child? I don't know who the fuck you are, but you have made a grave mistake!" He jumped into the sky, and he was flying. Every lightning bolt that struck him was absorbed.

The expression on the giant's face changed, and soon storms raged around the flying silver-haired man. Blades of wind tore his skin, and hail of ice battered his bones.

He gritted his teeth in pain as he sent lightning to his face. The face roared in surprise and pain.

"YOU CAN HURT ME? HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? I AM XOXOQUI; I CREATED YOU. YOU SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO TOUCH ME YET ALONE, HURT ME, YOU FLY."

He swatted his hands. The silver-haired man tried to dodge, but he was too slow. He was sent flying down, and as he crashed, most of his bones broke. This was the first time in a very long time that he felt pain like this. This giant being actually knew how to hurt him.

"IMPOSSIBLE" The giant screamed out, staring in a different direction, but the silver-haired man did not know what was going on. He was focusing on his body.

As he lay on the ground, slowly healing. He was filled with anger and injustice. He yelled, and a golden light shone upon him, healing his injuries faster. Meanwhile, right as the battle began, on a different continent, in a castle, a vampire was going through the same thing the silver-haired man went through. She faced the barrier and was finally breaking through it. Several minutes later, a sound of glass shattering could be heard. She opened her red eyes and smiled.

A young boy and girl walked up to her and said, Congratulations, our Queen, but we have news. There is a phenomenon happening in the sky. We assume you are interested."

The lady picked up her scythe and stared at the sky. She saw a man fighting clouds that were shaped in the form of an old man. The man screamed "IMPOSSIBLE" as he stared directly at the lady.

"WHO ARE YOU? HOW DID I NOT NOTICE YOU TILL NOW? I DID NOT CREATE YOU SO WHERE--? THAT FUCKING DRAX! YOU REEK OF HIM. He not only caused my injuries, but he also sabotaged my world. I WILL KILL HIM, BUT FIRST YOU HAVE TO DIE." The giant's voice resounded in the lady's mind as he yelled; it then changed to him murmuring about injuries and then him yelling again.

His hand moved in the lady's direction, spewing lightning. A huge dome of blood poured out of her hand, keeping the lightning at bay.

"Disrupt" The lightning slowly trickled out as she said that word, but it caused a backlash as she spat out three mouthfuls of blood. "That has never happened before," She said, confused.

She grew blood wings and flew in his direction. She started slashing with her scythe, also causing the giant pain.

"How can the both of you injure me?" The giant yelled in fear.

"Both of us?" She murmured confusingly.

Golden lightning struck another part of the man's back, and he yelled. She looked in the direction of the lightning and saw a silver-haired man. Lightning coiled around him as he held a long golden spear. He looked like he was a god.

The man also stared at the lady, but he figured she was an ally as she was also attacking Xoxoqui.

They nodded at each other and continued the attack. It felt like bees were continuously stinging a person, and they couldn't catch them. After a while, he yelled, "Enough!"

He stretched his hands, and the space constricted around the two of them. He drew them closer for a final blow. The sun was drawn towards him, and it started burning up the earth.

He said, "Solar Retribution: Descent of the Mother Star."

As they got closer, unable to move, he sent the giant sun to them like a meteor.

The two of them had despair on their faces but faced the blow head-on. They broke free of the constricting space and put their all into the attack.

They were sent flying in different directions, and it was seen as golden and dark red pieces fell from their bodies, also flying in various directions. A part of the fragmented sun also fell in the direction the lady fell.

The man looked on, tired, and said, "I could not kill them, but they are powerless now. I will recall the other creation fragments and increase the strength." He snapped his fingers, and forty-nine creatures and humans appeared in front of him. They were all confused as they looked at the giant in front of them. He snapped his fingers again, and they all exploded, and what floated in front of him were forty-nine beads. The forty-nine beads started to merge together until there were only seven beads on his hands.
