Chapter 13: So much Attack!

Jonouchisaid with a smirk. "Now, it's my turn. I draw a card!"

He glanced at his new hand and couldn't help but smile with pride. "I activate the equip spell card, Dragon Nails from my hand! I equip it to the Red-Eyes Black Dragon, increasing its attack power by 600 points!"

The Red-Eyes Black Dragon, enhanced by the spell card, looked up to the sky and let out a powerful roar. Dark waves enveloped its form.

"The attack power has reached 3000!" exclaimed the spectators in awe.

Jonouchi shouted excitedly. "Red-Eyes Black Dragon, attack!"

Intense heat energy brewed within the open jaws of the True Red-Eyes, while dark red spheres crackled with black electric currents, stirring up a hurricane-like turbulent airflow.

Yuyu pressed the button on the Duel Disk and waved his arm. "I activate my facedown card, the card - Wave to the Dark!"

This card was part of the deck presented by Pandora. Pandora had also used this card in a duel against Yuyu. It had a powerful effect that could instantly send a monster on the field to the graveyard."no matter how much you increase its attack power, it doesn't matter!" Yuyu exclaimed. "'Wave to the Dark' can banish a monster on the field, sending it directly to the graveyard!"

"Hey, but attack power isn't my goal!"Jonouchi smiled confidently, raising his voice. "The Metalized Red-Eyes Black Dragon is protected by the Magic Reflection Armor, which reflects any type of spell attack!"

In other words, whether it's a spell card effect or an attack from a spellcaster, it's ineffective against the current Red-Eyes Black Dragon!.

"I activate my facedown card!" He revealed the last card on his field. "Trap Card - Sand Tornado! Which allows me to destroy a spell or trap card on the field! I destroy 'Magic Reflection Armor'!"

"What!?"Jonouchi was shocked.

The image of the trap card was engulfed in a whirlwind of dust. The inverted funnel-shaped tornado swept fallen leaves with high-speed swirling, creating a momentary whirlwind within the field. Sand and rocks filled the air.

Jonouchi raised his arm to shield his face. The trap card lodged in the front entrapment area shattered under the strong winds, and the armor covering the Red-Eyes Black Dragon disappeared. Its momentum also weakened along with its attack power.

"This reverses the attack power the card once again!" Yuyu shouted.

The Red-Eyes Black Dragon on the field had vanished, replaced by a larger, lava-patterned black dragon.

Jonouchi wiped his sweat and smiled. "I activated this card during Red-Eyes Black Deagon's attack from before."

He retrieved a card from the graveyard and showed it to Yuyu.

"I activated the spell card - Fusion!" he declared triumphantly. "I fused the Red-Eyes Black Dragon on the field with the Meteor Dragon in my hand, combining them into my new trump card—the Meteor Black Comet Dragon!"

Yuyu: "..."
