Path to Strength

This is the first book I am posting on this platform, so I ask for patience. My native language is not English, and I am not ashamed to say that I am using the so-called "Best Translator in the World" to help me with this work (DeepL translator). I was really trying to find fanfics that take place in the worlds of Baki, Kengan Ashura or the like, and although I found them, I only came across ones where the character gets supernatural powers that put him above any fighter from these worlds, and that frustrated me. A man needs to see two people fighting using their fists entirely, rather than creating interdimensional portals or something of that sort. So don't expect these kinds of powers here, because here there will just be the old way of solving problems. ---------------------------------------------------- It was a normal day for Yuji, going to school, then to the gym he was attending and finally home. A monotonous, but pleasant routine. There was no cause for pride, much less shame, so for the teenager that was enough. As always, everything was going as it should. That was until the moment when, looking in the mirror, the boy's whole perspective seemed to change. Facing someone who looked like him, but at the same time, was not him, Yuji sees himself in a similar world, but which is certainly not his. Crossover world of animes, including Tokyo Revengers, Baki, Kengan Ashura, Holyland, Hajime no Ippo and others that can easily be included in FF if readers have ideas.

Chapter 7

As night fell, several teenagers could be seen walking through what looked like an old abandoned warehouse. People avoided getting as close as possible, for fear of messing with a gang of delinquents.

This warehouse? Well, it is the old warehouse owned by Moebius, but although, this no longer seemed to be the case, considering that Osanai could not be seen anywhere, only one teenager of short stature seemed to coordinate the others around him, who carried boxes and bags of garbage back and forth.

This obviously turned out to be Yuji.

"Take all the garbage and throw it in the bucket, the truck will pick it up tomorrow! We have to make this place as spacious as possible, because I want to start my business as fast as I can!" Yuji didn't shout, he just spoke loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Yes, boss!"

"Don't call me boss! I am your commander!" He retorted.

"Yes, commander!"

Despite sounding authoritative, Yuji was needing effort to maintain his authoritative tone. He didn't like bossing someone around, but he knew he needed to act that way so that his subordinates would respect him as their leader.

This obviously worked, because his subordinates, although they didn't show it, felt encouraged by the new leader of the gang. Besides being strong, Yuji did not treat them like Osanai, who, at the slightest mistake, would yell at them and even make them a punching bag. Yuji was completely different, since even though he was authoritarian, if they made a mistake, the boy would just lecture them and correct the mistake by teaching them.

Not even a full day had passed, but much of it already trusted Yuji, both for his strength and charisma.

"Come on, there are only a few bags left! Let's not leave it for later, I want everything cleaned up today!" Not outwardly showing, internally Yuji was eager to begin his project. The boy realizing he needed money, thought about getting a part-time job, but when he found out where the Moebius base was located, he couldn't help but think: This place could serve as an academy. And so his idea began. Yuji wanted to open a martial arts academy in the warehouse, of course it would be illegal at first, but he would soon organize the paperwork.

This academy would train teenagers for professional fighting, whether it was boxing, muay thai, or any other martial art. Yuji, although he preferred boxing, had a vast knowledge in many martial arts. Whether in Jiu-Jitsu or Muay Thai, he was an opponent that could scare off most opponents.

His idea was to teach everyone, and when he realized that someone was fit enough to teach, he would make him an instructor.

It might take a while to make money, but for a start, he doesn't just have the academy idea in mind. Doing a little research, Yuji discovered an unknown gang that organizes underground fights, and from the looks of it, it was famous enough to make enough money for the fighters. Many bets were placed on these fights, and the idea of having Yggdrasil dominate this arena with its fighters made Yuji very excited. It was a great way to make money, as well as find strong opponents.

The arena is called B1, and from the looks of it, its leaders are unknown.

. . .

At exactly 11:30 p.m., all 120 delinquents were gathered in front of the warehouse. They were wearing their Moebius uniforms, while maintaining a military formation. In front of everyone, Yuji stared at them with a serious look, as if analyzing each of them.

"It took us a while, but everything is organized. Tomorrow I want everyone here, and I will explain my project and organize everyone's positions. You can go home!" Yuji spoke loudly, all the delinquents bowing in respect and slowly walking away to their respective residences.

Yuji watched until everyone disappeared from his field of vision, not taking time to walk toward his home as well. Although his aunt was not expecting him, he should not come back late every time, it would become a bad habit.

As he turned a corner, Yuji did not notice a dark figure walking towards him. The boy hums a song quietly, totally disconnected from the world around him. Everything was going as planned, so he was not at the moment unconcerned.

Just as he was about to turn another corner, out of the corner, he could see the figure begin to run towards him. Surprised, Yuji turned to face it, a hood covering his face as something glowed in his hand.

"DEAD!"

Yuji realized it was a blade, and about to be stabbed, he moved his body to the outside line of the stranger's arm, narrowly escaping the knife. The surprised assassin, was unable to react when a fist struck him hard on the chin, his eyes rolling back as he fell to the ground.

"A knife? That's low." The boy spoke angrily and stepped on the weapon, throwing it away. "If you had hit me, I'd still win, but I'd be in trouble later."

He sneered and crouched down in front of the hooded man, who was slowly regaining consciousness. Seeing this, he grabbed the hoodie and threw it back. Yuji for a moment was surprised, not expecting to see an already familiar face.

"Osanai?" He asked with a clear tone of disappointment. "After losing the lead, you automatically attempt murder? Are you an idiot? I didn't think you were so low, despite allowing those horrendous acts."

Osanai tried to get up, but his brain seemed to wobble, which occasioned a feeling of intense dizziness. Nevertheless, he could hear Yuji's words clearly, his teeth clenching in anger as he clenched his fists tightly.

"I didn't allow any of that!" Osanai denied Yuji's claims, leaving the boy a little surprised. He knows that Kisaki did everything and put the blame on the former Moebius leader's back, but Yuji didn't think that he would deny his involvement to him after his attitude in the warehouse.

"Oh, I get it." The boy didn't feel excited to talk, so he just agreed with the elder's words. He already has knowledge about Kisaki, it wouldn't make sense for him to try to take back information, or more accurately, Yuji is not willing enough to do so.

Thus, watching Osanai trying to deal a sharp punch to the chin, an interesting idea came to the teenager's mind. Osanai is definitely a capable boxer, considering his memories of his fight against that stalwart member of Toman in the anime. Why not invite him into the gang, since he was manipulated the whole time by Kisaki? Him earning money by fighting seems more enjoyable than doing odd jobs for a living.

The idea is definitely nice, and if he can win the blond's loyalty, he might even become one of the big boys.

With that thought, Yuji decided to pursue the idea. He wouldn't lose anything in case the man didn't accept, his plans would continue in the same way.

"Since you haven't done anything, how about joining my gang?" Yuji spoke with disinterest.

When Osanai processed the boy's words, his eyes widened in surprise and confusion. He didn't understand why the boy would invite him, even more so when he had tried to kill him just a few minutes ago. Madness? Why on earth would he call him into what was once his gang, sure that he wouldn't try to take it back? To interrupt his thoughts, Yuji quickly spoke.

"I know it was your gang, but I'm in charge now, and I have big plans for it." Osanai raised his head, his eyes meeting Yuji's, which glowed with determination. "I will make Yggdrasil the greatest of all, and you can be a part of that. All you have to do is accept and follow me."

"I will make you, Osanai, someone to be feared in all Japan."

"..."

As the blond opened his mouth to reply, footsteps sounded behind Yuji. This caught his attention, and he stood up and turned around, his eyes landing on two figures walking toward him.

"Oh, those are quite inspiring words, did you hear that, Pah?!"

"Of course I heard it, Peh!"

Yuji was surprised to see two teenagers wearing Toman uniforms. Listening to their conversation, he identified them as Pah and Peh, the former being a friend of the boy who had his family murdered. What were they doing here? At this point, the confrontation between Moebius and Toman where Osanai received a stab wound never occurred, and the information that Moebius gained a new leader should have reached Tokyo Manji's ears by now. The boy thought about it, but finding no sense in the events, he just put his hands in his pockets and stared at the newcomers.

"Hey, is that the guy who is the new leader of Moebius?" It was Pah who questioned, a sneer staring Yuji intensely.

"Yuji Shinakawa. From what has been said, that's him." Peh confirmed, the two stopping a few feet away from Yuji and Osanai, the older blond man sitting on the ground.

Yuji listened to the two of them carefully. He thought he could understand their motives through their expressions, but from the looks of it, they both just belittled him with their gaze. The two definitely did not see him in a good light, and the teenager realized this.

But anyway, he was a leader now, he wouldn't bow his head to someone from a rival gang.

"Oh, may I know the reason for the presence of two Toman members in my territory?" He asked with a confident smile, this serving to worsen the mood of the two in front of him.

"This guy is just full of himself, don't you think, Peh?!"

. . .

Pah and Peh, captain of the third division and vice captain respectively. The two were preparing for the battle against Moebius, but were taken by surprise when the news that Osanai had been defeated reached Toman. The new commander, Yuji Shinakawa, caught the attention of both of them. When Mikey heard this, he decided that the war would no longer take place. The leader was no longer Osanai, there was no point in attacking the gang when it was over a "new jurisdiction".

Pah didn't know how to feel, although he knew he still wanted to destroy Moebius with his bare hands.

When everyone was dismissed, Pah didn't need much to decide his next move. He would meet the new leader of Moebius, and if he was someone unpleasant, he would crush him with his bare hands. Peh, seeing his captain walking the opposite way from his home, could not stop himself from following him.

And so it was, that walking towards the Moebius base, the two teenagers could see a young man of short stature, Yuji, crouching in front of what looked like someone on the ground.

Hearing Yuji's words, Pah couldn't help but frown in anger. Deep down he believed that the new leader of Moebius could be someone nice, the complete opposite of what Osanai was, but seeing him inviting Osanai himself into the gang, Pah concluded

Yuji Shinakawa was not someone of good character and would be beaten by his fists.
