IN THE KINGDOM OF HARNEM

FELIX POV:

I reached the kingdom of Harnem in the search of King S. I find it odd that someone's name had been only had a single initial. Regardless, he will be our allies in the war. Aya had already sent out the allies contract which was agreed and signed by the kIng S.

I wonder what this man actually is. he is a mystery to all till now. He only attacks his opponents with his army. Nobody had ever seen his face till now other than Aya. She always finds a way to reach the impossible. Maybe this was the one thing that had me submit myself to her.

Power... that is the only thing I understand. In this cruel world... without power, we are left out to torture and die. Power is the only thing that can save us. Only if I had power back then... maybe I would have saved her...

Cara's face flashed in front of my eyes like a soft sheet. Lately, I have begun to remember her even more. Maybe after I have stopped connecting with Shawna. She has been a drug to me all these years, it was hard living without her now.

But all this is temporary. After this war is over, I have promised myself to take off from any duties further and take Shawna away with me. Somewhere in peace. Where we can live happily. I want to say ever after, but I was scared. I was scared if Shawna would ever understand my love for her or not... If she wants to come with me or not...

I know It is going to be tough, but I have to. I can't leave her here.

The child...

I know that I am unable to produce any heir of mine, so I will accept this baby as mine. I will give her or him my name and love. I am willing to do every possible thing for her. I smiled at my silly thoughts.

She is my most important possession right now.

I know I am going to hurt her once again... but then again all this is temporary. They have to die. For her to live happily ever after they have to. I know she is not greedy. She had a wise and comforting heart. She must be happy to start a small family with me.

A blush crept to my cheeks thinking of her in my arms. I know I have been acting odd lately. Maybe I have become a little mad loving all these years alone. I am obsessed with her. She is the only living being in me. unintentionally she has become my everything now. And since Priam had never shown love towards her, it had somehow given me hope that she would trust me.

I reached the Harnem borders and immediately the soldiers recognised me. They welcomed me and showed me the way to the palace.

Upon my reach, a heavy voice echoed through the hall. " It was finally great to meet the legendary Venom"- A shadow in the dark said.

I kept my eyes on particular and stood there without any expression. I demanded-" Show yourself"

His voice laughed in the shadow as he replied-" Would that make any difference in my gratitude ?"

" I still want to see who I am talking to"

"What if you don't like what you see?"

" Do you think I came here to choose a bride?"

Another laugh echoed in the room and it was killing my patience. Finally, the man in the shadows stepped in further towards the light slowly revealing himself, until he is clearly visible.

"A human?" I gasped in a sudden shock.

There were a 6 ft tall dark man standing in front of me. He had no magical aura around him and his eyes were human. But how? No other human had been allowed inside the WitcjbDom ever... and how did he find this place in the first place?

He smirked and said-" yet I brought the legendary Venom and Aya to meet me here!!! Ain't I am the all mighty?"

His humour was giving me pain in the ass now. he was way too much of himself. A self-obsessed person. Wait... Aya met him... that means she knows. How can a human rule in the witch land? I was terribly shocked at this point in time. For a moment all I could see that bastard laughing with his chin up and I wanted to bite him till he bleed to death.

" If I'd be you I wouldn't be dare to speak like that in front of a vampire"- I warned with a sly smirk.

He chuckled mockingly as he replied-" If you'd have to kill me, you would have done it the moment I showed up. You are bounded by Aya's order. You are her mere servant... You cannot hurt the allies without her permission"

It was true, but there was a part of me, who wanted to ignore all the other facts and kill him right there. But I sighed closed my eyes and calmed myself. there was a greater cause than this. We needed to get the witches down and I need to get Shawna out of this place forever. And for that, he is the only one who could have helped.

" Is this is why you never showed up to the world? Too afraid to show your true self and pretend to be a great warrior?". I asked in a calm voice.

I can see his expression changed into an angry one. He clutched his fist and gritted his teeth looking at me. I know I hit the right spot.

But soon he changes his expression back and said-" Why don't I show you the things you have visited here for?"

I nodded as we walked from the hall to the dungeons downstairs.

There were dozens of soldiers working in there, probably making something. The heat of the fire for melting the metals was making me a little sick. But each one they were dedicated to making a new weapon.

" Is that silver?"- I pointed out on a sword which is made up of pure silver kept in the left corner as we pass by.

" That would let you die on spot"- He answered proudly.

He knew our weakness. Silver. The only thing that could kill a magical being. Immortals would be a joke if silver comes in between. He was smart I had to admit regardless of the hate I have for him.

"What is that?"- I pointed out to the workers who were working a little deep from the entrance. there was a strange smell that filled my nose which really makes me uncomfortable for some reason. They all were wearing masks.

" A henbane"- He replied with a proud smirk on his face.

My eyes widened to hear his reply. Henbane? It was nearly the most powerful weapon to kill the witches. Despite the power that a witch held within they were nearly immune to silver. Silver could only hurt them temporarily making them weak... but henbane is the only one that could kill a witch with a small sight of it.

Within no second they will drain their all powers.

"These two weapons will be enough to kill them"- he replied as he looked back at me.

I was not quite sure what should I say to him. Aya was powerful and I knew she could do anything that would block her mission in between. I was scared for Shawna. She was pregnant. I couldn't let that henbane hurt her at any cost.

I hid my emotions as I nodded and said-" We will also need the wolfsbane in the war. the wolves are fighting with them"

He nodded and replied-" I will be getting that by tomorrow morning. By the first of the next week, everything will be ready. Please sent my gratitude to Queen Aya too". He smiled as he walked me off to the gate.

I nodded and left from there back to my den. I needed to report Aya. Next week. That means three more days. Three more days Until I will see her again... three more days until this will all be over and w can be together... there are more days when I will be confession her one more time.

No matter how many times she refused me, I will still keep trying. Until the day she finally agrees with me.

BACK AT AYA'S DEN

The door cracked open revealing Patricia walking inside like a possessed person. Her eyes glow in grey. Amira came forward and asked-" Did you get them?"

She nodded without replying anything. She cast-" apparent". The unconscious body of Harney and Kelnier fell on the body as Patricia stood there showing no expression. Amira smirked at the fainted body and said-" Locked them up with the kids"

Two guards came forth and took them in. Amira said-" Good. Now go back and act as if you don't know anything. And do what you need to do."

Patricia nodded and started walking back to the palace.

Aya appeared behind her back and said-" Get everything ready. the blood moon is in three days"

Amira bowed and left.

AT THE BORDER OF WITCHDOM

SHAWNA'S POV:

We reached the WitchDome border by the dawn as I breathe home in the air. I inhaled the sweet smell of being home and I said-" Finally". I was happy I will be meeting Grandma and Mother Kelnier after days. I had a lot to tell them.

Ruby came along with us. It was not easy for her. It was her home with them, and she felt devasted to be away from them. I could feel her misery but I didn't have many choices. I needed to tell grandma to look at this matter as soon as possible.

Junnie said-" It was always to come back home"

I smiled and nodded to her.

Priam said-" Mother would be here... We will leave for WitchDom by tomorrow then. You can spend a night here"

I squealed in joy like a little kid. No matter how big I become, I will always be a kid to my grandma, who looked at me as her whole world.

The horses run against the wind and we reached the palace within no time. The guards immediately get the horses and we all get down. Priam carried me from the horse as he helped me get down safely. lately, he was pampering me with all he could, and I am slowly getting used to it.

We came inside the hall as my eyes wandered for grandma.

My smile slightly dropped when my eyes couldn't find her. Where is she? This is the first time, she didn't come out despite knowing that I have arrived. Normally she would already come to welcome me every time I visit here.

" Hmm... that's odd"- I said with a little frown on my head.

" What is?"- King Alan asked scanning the room.

" Grandma... she is not here.... yet."

" Maybe she is in the study room with work"- Junnie tried to convince me. But there was something that was affecting me.

She never did that... She never could. I was her first priority.

" I will go check on mother then..." Priam said as he walked off to the stairs to find Queen Kelnier.

Ruby was looking at the palace with big awe on her face. This was probably the first time she entered a palace. Moreover, this could be her home if she...

I didn't want to think of this right now as I was worried about granny. Where she could be? Perhaps is she ill? Where is Gina? they were under her responsibility.

Something clicked on my mind and I walked to the room where the kids were kept. I opened the door was to my shock the room was empty!!!

" Shit!!"- I murmured being terrified.

Junnie and Brad followed me and they stopped to see the room empty too. I looked at Junnie and asked-" Where is Gina?"

Junnie said-" I will go see her".

As she left my mind was struck with so many thoughts. Shivers run through my spines as the negative thoughts run in my mind about grandma. I just hope she is fine.

I came down and called the guards to ask-" Where is Grandma?"

they looked at each other with a confused look and replied-" She was in the palace for the past couple of days."

"Did anyone come here?"- I asked while knitting my brows.

They replied-" Only Mrs Patricia came to visit her with Jonathan. But..."

John immediately asked in concern-" But?"

" She left alone yesterday. Jonathan was not there. I thought he is staying".

" Don't you feel something fishy here?"- I asked looking at John, Brad and King Alan.

While we were busy discussing the matter, William, Jordan and Jennifer arrived.

Jennifer gave a big hug and said-" I am glad you came back safely. Is the work done?"

I showed her the wand and she smiled immediately. Jennifer asked in confusion-" Who is she?"

I looked at the one she is pointing out. I said with a sigh-" It's a long story. She is suspected daughter of Uncle Ben"

Jennifer knitted her brows in confusion and asked-" Didn't he have only a son? Who dies years ago?"

" That is what we knew!!!"- Brad said coming out.

Just then Priam same down with a worried face and said-" Mother is not here!!!!"

Junnie arrived at the same moment and said-" Gina is not here either."

I was confident by now that something has happened. And it was a threat. " well the kids are missing too." John confirmed.

"Did we miss something?"- William asked with his sceptical eyes.

" We are yet to find that out!!!"- I replied.

Junnie handed over a small letter that had my name on it. I opened the letter and read-

" Time had finally come to show who you really are. Never stop believing yourself. Your family and friends are your biggest strength.

You will find me when the need is.

Till then goodbye.

Gina".

I cannot believe she chose to leave at this point in time. Anger was rushing inside of me. I ordered-" Call the meeting in 1 hour".

William nodded and left to inform others. With grandma missing along with mother Kelnier and the kids somehow made me realise they were under Aya's trap. They were in danger.

I was not vulnerable now. I was stronger. I found my strength. I was not afraid. And with Priam and my friends beside me, I was invisible.

As we were about to leave the hall, we heard someone's sobs. I looked ahead and found Patricia in tears. John immediately run to her and asked-" Patricia... what happened? Where is Jonatha?"

" Th-they took him!"- She said through her sobs.

" Who?"- John asked with a worried eye.

" Her... Aya...."- She fainted with the last word. John was quick to hold her from falling down.

" Take her to the room. We shall meet in an hour"- Priam said while guiding me back to our room.

AT FELIX'S DEN

Stagrid stood in front of Venom aka Felix. She was looking down and was scared for some reason.

" Master... Pl-please reconsiders the fact"- He pleaded to Felix, who look less bothered by his words.

" Master... She is my daughter... and she doesn't know what she is doing."- he pleaded again.

" Then why the hell did you not tell her?"- he roared in the conversation, causing Stagrid to flinch a little. " Do you remember what have you promised me?"- Felix asked tuning his back at him

" Yes, master. Give me one last chance. I shall visit and talk to her. And then if not I will sacrifice my life to you"- He pleaded for his only daughter.

It was the begging for his daughter's life. Felix agreed as he turned back to leave the room. To see her one last time, before he dies.
