"uugh is it morning already?" exclaims a man as he slams his alarm clock which reads 11:30 am, sitting on his bed he looks around while yawning and rubbing his head, seeing only the same scenery he always saw every day, a small room sloppily painted in paint black with dirt and rubbish scattered around

"huff come on" sighing and gathering courage he scrambles out of bed and limps to what looks like a bathroom "aahh I really have to stop drinking this hangover is killing me and I have to make time to clean it up" he then he goes to a mirror and what is reflected is a man who looks to be 28 years old with black eyes and hair white skin very ordinary face and some scars.

"let's go to another day in hell" says the man while clenching his fists tightly until they bleed, walking to a bench he finds his wallet. opening it, he sees his identity // 'Name:Malcom Heart' // 'age:30 years old' // 'father's name: not available' // mother's name: not available'//

"okay, I already have everything I need so let's go" malcom takes his keys he leaves his apartment, leaving his building he stares at him 'hmm ugly as usual' the building was half destroyed, falling apart, but unfortunately for Merlin it was what he could afford with his "'job'", walking for a few minutes until he arrives and in an alley Malcom sees an armed man selling drugs

"hey malcom you shit you're late!!" shouts the man, blond with green eyes tall and muscular with a wild smile, "s-sorry roy it won't happen again" says malcom pretending to be scared, roy smiles at him and says "how are you today my friend?"

malcom responds while smiling: "same shit as usual, but hey how's the movement here today?" malcom says in a curious tone while picking up a gun

"well, really good hahahaha" says roy as he shows several bills in an animated manner, "now it's your turn to sell, gotta go home now bye buddy" roy says as he walks away slowly walking away, "see you later mate" says while malcom is counting the money he didn't notice that a group of 5 hooded people are sneaking around

"hey these two are our targets" one of the hooded figures says while the others choose a target and aim their guns, "3...2...1 now shoot!!"screams one of the figures as he starts shooting, the others then they follow him and shoot mercilessly

*pow *pow *pow *pow

*ta *ta *ta *ta *ta

"shit!!" roy screams as he tries to slash only to fall to the ground with multiple bullet holes and blood pouring out, malcom's reaction was even worse taking only one shot in the head and completely blacking out.

------ mc pov -----

'Hmm? What happened? i was counting the money when suddenly everything went dark' i think as i try to look around only to see endless blackness 'am i dreaming or something? damn if i sleep on the job and the police show up they'll fuck me, wake up you idiot! wake up!' I try every way to wake up, but in a flash of light everything goes white

"aaagghh my fucking eyes" I start rubbing my eyes which are stinging from the sudden light

until I see someone close to me looking at me, he was bald, he had a long white beard and golden eyes, I kept looking at him until I heard

"calm down young man!" he exclaimed in a powerful, deep and at the same time calming voice, "who are you sir?" I asked hesitantly "well my young man, I am what you mortals call God" he says with a peaceful smile which makes me strangely calm "ugh it's kind of hard to believe, but even if you really are God, why would I get to meet you? a simple drug dealer " he smiles even more with my question making me a little strange, but he replies " well actually it's by luck hahaha, randomly souls are selected to win 2 wishes and you are one of them " he says with a shameless smile

"So can I have wishes??" I say feeling excited like a child "sure kid, just say it, but keep in mind that the world and timeline you will be reincarnated in can be selected without spending wishes" says God heartily

"ok then sir, can i choose?" I say with my animation increasing a lot "of course my son, start" he says opening his arms

"okay, for the world I want an anime I saw a long time ago as a kid, it's called overlord, and the timeline is a month before the game releases" I say excitedly, "it's ok my son, you can proceed" he looks at me and snaps his fingers

"okay, my first wish is to be a billionaire in the initial world and my second wish is a special race just mine in the game, with things from other animes in it, and as I really like Egypt the race must be a mummy" I say at once spending all air in my lungs, "hahaha okay kid, consider it done" he says as he snaps his fingers and everything becomes clear
