One Piece: The Gunslinging Gunslinger of Gunslinging

"Jeez, I can never get a break. James do this, James do that, James run around the fortress three times as punishment, James your uniform isn't on correctly drop and give me 100. Yap Yap Yap." I was enjoying a nice nap before the alarms sounded and Marine Base G-8 was on high alert. Something about Straw-hat pirates or whatever. I yawned and kept marching onwards.

"Hey Janitor dude." I waved at the laughing Janitor who passed me, his name was Phill? Dill? Mil? I don't know. He stopped laughing and glared at me.

"I have a name you know!?" He stormed off before I could respond.

"Great". I responded watching him walk off.

I heard a loud clank and saw a bucket roll around the corner. I walked up to it and picked it up.

"This disguise was clearly a mistake…" I turned the corner to see an orange haired pretty girl who was unfamiliar to me. I walked closer to lean against the door leading to the old gym that was filthy.

"Budget cuts am I right?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. I must have startled her because she jumped and aimed her broom at me.

"AHHHHH! You can't just sneak up on people you know? You almost gave me a heart attack! Hahahaha" She rubbed the back of her head and smiled nervously. I only stared at her.

"Right." I could see a bead of sweat drip down her forehead. "So which Straw-hat are you?" Her eyes widened and her face got red.

"Straw-hat!? Me!? No No No, I'm just a janitor, you know? Clean clean clean. He he he." I raised the bucket in my hand, shaking it lightly.

"Very convincing. I'm surprised you tricked Phill, Or Mill, whatever." She just looked more confused, and I saw her hands snake their way to her lower back. "Look, whatever your thinking of doing, I wouldn't do it." She tilted her head to the side, her hands stopped. Probably grabbed something. "Great." She jumped back and pulled out a blue staff thing?

"Thunderbolt Tempo!" She swung the staff and I saw a yellow ball of lighting? It didn't matter really, it didn't get much further when a bullet went right threw it and then into the wall behind her.

"Hate to burst your bubble." I smiled and aimed my pistol at her. Her eyes widened and she looked scared. "Get it? Burst your bubble." She then looked confused again. I twirled my gun with my finger. "Now that we've established, I can shoot faster than you can do whatever that was. Let's talk." She nodded her head quickly and I just smiled sliding down the doorway to sit with my back against it.

"Um. Why don't you just arrest me? You are a marine." I nodded my head before shaking it.

"Yeah, but that's so boring. Plus, if I do something good like capturing a Straw-hat, it'll only lead to more work. Maybe if it was your captain, I'll give it a shot but your just a small fry." She looked insulted.

"Small fry?"

"Yup" I nodded while pulling out my second pistol and then I started juggling the two pistols. Throwing them high and twirling them with my fingers I even got them to spin on my nose once or twice. They both were some of the newer models the navy was cooking up back at headquarters. Eight round revolvers, one Ivory the other Ebony. With a gold lining of a bear chasing a deer that they both shared starting from the handle to the tip of the barrel. "Nice, aren't they? Made me deep in debt with the old man." I could see her looking at them with Berry signs in her eyes.

"How much were they?" I caught both and then holstered them.

"10,000,000 Berry for both." She then had an inquisitive look on her face before putting her hand on her chin.

"Say? If you help me out of here, I could lend you that. Interest at a minimal. What do you say?" She smiled brightly and held out her hand. I looked at it and sighed.

"I'm not that dumb. I'd rather be indebted to my old man then to a pirate. Plus, I was going to show you out anyway." I stood up dusting my legs off. "We should hurry it up, the commander probably has you and the rest of your crew figured out already."

"Yeah, right. My friends might be a little all over the place, but they aren't that dumb. They know when it's time to get serious."

"Maybe. But the Vice Admiral is a genius, trust me. It gets a little annoying." I raised my arm pointing out into the hallway. "Ladies first." She still looked a little off. I sighed and raised my right arm. "I swear as a Lieutenant of the Marines, I will not capture you. You have my word." She tilted her head to the side before nodding and walking out the door, kicking the broom across the room. I chuckled and navigated the maze of G-8.

"You're a Lieutenant?" She asked me as we marched forward. I nodded.

"That's what I said."

"You don't look that much older than me. How does someone so young become an officer in the Marines?" I shrugged.

"Nepotism?" I placed my hands on my gun handles and laughed.

"Are you really a Marine?" She side eyed me now. Doubt was all over her face. I was still laughing when she asked me this.

"Yup. Mom's a marine and so is dad. Whole family of them." I chuckled; my laughter was dying down. "Are you really a pirate?" I asked with a raised eyebrow and a smile on my face.

"I can't tell if your being serious or not." She responded bluntly. I laughed again.

"I'm usually never serious. Take a right." We turned and saw a group of nurses rushing towards us.

"Get out the way! We're needed in the infirmary!" I grabbed the Orange haired girl's shoulder and dragged her towards the wall so the nurses could have a clear way through.

"Ow!" She glared at me then looked at the direction of the nurses. "Hey one of my friends could be there." She then started to run towards the nurses, I just pulled her back.

"Or they couldn't. Plus, I told you I would lead you out of here, not further into the base."

"So, you are capturing me?" She glared at me.

"What? No." I felt something poke me on my thigh. I looked down to see that blue staff of hers. "Shi…"

"Thunderbolt Tempo!" Then I saw black.
