I placed my things on the desk and jumped a little when someone placed a hand on my shoulder, " hey... its me, ji young. You seem little jumpy today, are you alright? Your dress is beautiful. What's the special? " Ji young looked at me smirking, " did the blind date successful? "

" i left in the middle. This dress is a gift from Mr. Kim. He said that it is for my hard work " lying through teeth to my friend is so difficult, but i have to keep it secret.

" you got gift from devil prince?! You are so lucky " she smiled at me proudly. We are talking with each other when i saw Mr. Nam along with his daughter walking out of the elevator.

What are they doing here? i don't think they have any appointment.

I quickly stood up and walked towards them, " good morning Mr. Nam. What is the reason for this sudden visit? " i bowed slightly to them.

" is Taehyung inside? I have to talk to me immediately " by judging his outburst, i can understand how important it is. But what is his daughter doing here?

" yes. This way " i told them to follow me and knocked on Mr. Kim's door, " Mr. Kim. Mr. Nam and his daughter are here " i opened the door and followed them inside.

" Mr. Nam, what is it? " taehyung looked at them and crossed his arms.

" i heard that you rejected the marriage proposal with my daughter. What is the reason for that Taehyung? I first thought it is to settle here 2 years ago, but now i don't know anymore. What is the reason for cancelling it? " My eyes widen when i heard it.

Marriage? He is engaged? It hurt me more than i can expect.

" i never said i will marry your daughter. It is my parents idea. I don't think your daughter will be happy living with someone who doesn't love her " when he said those words, he looked at me. it is like he is telling me it is nothing serious.

" why? Am i not good enough? " Ms. Nam Ara moved towards Taehyung, " i always liked you "

" i am sorry, but i only thought of you as a friend. I already have someone in my life. I am going to marry her " this time his eyes locked with mine for a second. I quickly looked away to avoid suspicion.

Why does it sound like a proposal? Is he saying he is going to marry me?

" ah... then, i guess we can't do anything here. dad, lets go " Ara gave a bitter smile before walking out with her father. I looked at the door for a few seconds. She is a nice girl.

" Are you going to keep looking at the door? " i heard Taehyung talk near my ear and looked at him, " aren't you going to ask? About that marriage proposal? "

I shook my head, " i don't have to. You explained everything clearly. Then, i am going back to work " i turned around and walked to the door.

By the time i sat in my seat, Ji young is waiting for me, " what happened in there? I saw Ms. Ara walking out with tears in her eyes " poor ara.

" its not our business. Go back to your station " is shooed her away, but my mind is still thinking about Taehyung. I don't think i can work like this. I have to drink some tea.

I walked inside and opened the cupboard. I felt a hand snake around my waist and looked to my side. Taehyung is smiling at me, " Mwoya... what if someone sees us? "

I looked around in caution, " its ok. Its only two of us here " He leaned in planted a kiss on my lips.

" aish! This headache is killing me... " i heard someone speak and moved away from him, " mr.kim, what are you doing here? "

" ... i am hungry so i came here to ask Ms. Go to make me something. Ms. Go, bring the snacks to my office " He stood straight and walked out of the room trying to look cool. I mentally smiled while preparing snacks for him.

" i still cant understand him after two years " the staff grumbled under his breath and made himself some coffee. I grabbed the tray and walked inside his room.

" here is your snacks, Mr. Kim " i slightly bowed to him. Before i can go back, he grabbed my wrist and pulled me onto his lap, " what are you doing? Someone will see us "

Instead of releasing me, he closed the blinds with the remote, " it's hard to have some alone time with you " he wrapped his arms around my waist from behind and put his chin on my shoulder.

" wah~ i never thought i will see you like this. So clingy " i pulled away from him and walked to the door. I turned around once to look at him, " but... its cute "

Days went by, we are still going strong. we often sneak out to have some moments. it is hard to act like nothing in front of everyone, but dating secretly is not bad.

I walked by the comfort room and saw Bora lightly touching Taehyung's hand while laughing to something. What made me mad is that he didn't do anything to push her away. She leaned forward showing off her cleavage.

What is she doing? Why isn't he pushing her away?

I cleared my throat loudly while walking past them. I grabbed myself some coffee and walked out of the room without glancing at him. I can feel his gaze following me.

I opened the storage room door and sat on the table while drinking my coffee. The door opened after few minutes and Taehyung walked inside.

" whats wrong, Miss Go? " he sat beside me and i moved away from him.

" you seemed very close with Bora. Well, she was leaning on you " i didn't glance at him. He caught my face between his hands and turned me to look at him.

" Not at all. Are you mad at me? " he pecked me, " what about now? " he kept peppering me with kisses until i smiled, " you don't have to be jealous. I only love you "

" whatever " i pulled away and drank my coffee.

" do you trust me? " i nodded my head, " Be ready for the tonight's company party. I am going to announce something important " he kissed my forehead and left the room. What would it be?

Just as i promised i dressed for the party. It is a high neck long red dress with a line of silver band around my waist. I applied rose gold smokey eye with red lipstick. I walked inside the venue beside Taehyung.

He stopped at the table with his parents, " Dad, mom, this is her ". his mom smiled brightly at me before pulling me into a hug.

" Eun byul, its been a while " i nodded my head at Mr. Kim with a smile. What is going on?

I looked at Taehyung for hint, but he just smiled sitting beside me in the table. They are really nice. I met Mr. Kim when he asked me to be secretary of Taehyung. Even from our small meeting, i can say he is a dedicated man.

The party is going to peaks when Taehyung walked towards the stage. Everyone stopped whatever they are doing and looked at him attentively.

" Good evening everyone. I have a special announcement to make. Eun byul, can you stand up for me? " i stood up while looking at him confused.

" Eun Byul and I are getting married in 2 months. This is my engagement party " the crowd cheered while i stood frozen in my place. Did i just hear correctly?
