Year 1903....

It was a catastrophic and cloudy night and not a star was perceived in the sky. Today the heavens seemed more than spine chilling, as if something adverse was about to happen. There was complete stillness all around, while only the sound of the wind was to be heard everywhere.

It seemed that each and every living being on the land was hidden in there respective habitation, scared of the ink dark sky. It was not unusual for Hellwood City to experience such a scary typhoon, but today it seemed different.

Not much far away was a massive hurricane of wind, bellowing rapidly and loudly trying to destroy everything in its way. It seemed like a giant forest fire ready to pounce on the pitiable boy. He was running like a scared mouse on a barren land, as fast as he could. The blood dripped from his injured leg, leaving a sharp stench in the air, everywhere he ran.

Like a maniac man he ran away from the peril, while his eyes were searching for any trace of shelter to seek refuge....

His red teary eyes moved left and right as he sprinted further under the blanket dark clouds. He was not scared of the storm but the danger that was following him rapidly.

Never in his life he had seen such a bizarre creature....

Never in his life he had experienced something so dark and ferocious....

All he knew was that when he opened the door of his massive wooden house, upon hearing the scratching sound of claws, and he saw a giant beast in front of him. Big red eyes, long sharp teeth and a huge fur body. Luckily he was holding a fire lantern in his hand and threw it with much force on the beast and ran away towards the barren land next to his house.

Upon falling and stumbling many times, he had finally managed to evade the monster, or, at least that is what he had thought.....

He turned his neck and glanced behind him, and wrinkled his eyes a bit, trying to spot any sign of the barbaric beast.

"Whew!" He finally halted and grabbed the sides of his stomach, looking at his injured feet. "When did its claws touch me? I thought I managed to escape him." He frowned a bit looking at his ripped pants, oozing out massive amount of blood.

This was a peculiar pain. Not the kind of pinching pain that was usually felt by an injury. This pain was alien and felt like a wave, travelling up and down all his leg like a current. "Arghhhhhh!! What is happening to me. Was that creature infected?"

He winced in pain as he again starting limping further on the desolated land. "I... have... no idea where I am headed."

He had again started to run rapidly, trying to take his mind off from the pain.

"BAMMMMMM!!!!" Suddenly his leg felt like a soft jelly, he could not balance himself and fell down straight on his face, hitting his nose on the rough grassy patch.

More and more tears fell down from his eyes as he screamed in extreme pain. "Arhhhhhhh!!! Somebody help me!! Please!!"

He tried to wipe away the dust from his eyes as his vision was now extremely blurry and painful. With much struggle he yet again stood up on his feet, trying to sprint ahead.

"ROARRRRRRRRR!!!!"

Suddenly he heard a loud growl not far away from behind him and he gasped in shock.

"Oh goodness!! It coming for me!!!" His hands and legs trembled as he increased his pace, heading towards a murky jungle.
