"Where are you going? The King has summoned you, "Rhon came to my side. 

I raced down the hallway. In a rush to exit the palace and travel to my home to confirm the news, Zephirin dropped on me. 

"His Majesty and the royal council have decided for you. You are needed in the throne room, " Rhon insisted. 

"They can summon me all they like. I am not taking orders from them anymore, " I angrily fired back. 

Venting my anger at the person closest to me. I was tired, starving, and stressed out. The people in the throne room were the least of my problems. If I were to draft a list of priorities in my life currently. They wouldn't make the first, second, or third page. 

The idea of losing the only family I've ever known was eating away at me. The old one blamed me for sins I might have committed in my past life. A life I barely remember and have nothing to do with.
