Wheel Of Emotions pt.1

Sunset's POV

It's almost noon and I was still at home, fast asleep. A minute before it hit noon, I finally woke up and almost immediately checked my phone. I saw that I missed a lot of calls and was sent a ton of messages from my friends who were waiting at the hospital for me. I exploded out of my bed knowing that I'm late to meet up with everyone, then sent them a text letting them know I accidentally overslept and that I was going to be there in less than thirty minutes. I grabbed a fresh new set of clothes and took a quick shower then dressed myself up. After I was done getting dressed, I got in my car and finally left the house and made my way straight towards the hospital.

Sunset~ Ugh! How did I oversleep? I went to bed at a time where I should have taken up at like eight or nine a.m. It's fifteen minutes past noon and I'm nowhere near where I have to be. *Sigh* That's the last time I ever go out at night for a stroll around the city. Now I feel terrible. I'm practically wasting everyone's time by oversleeping. They all agreed to meet me at the hospital and I'm nowhere in their sight. They all probably got there early too.

Twenty minutes later, I finally arrived in front of the hospital and with no time to waste. After I parked the car close to the front entrance, I made my way inside as quickly as possible. I checked in at the front desk then rushed over to Donny's room and minutes later, I finally made it. I entered the room completely surprised to find out that not everyone was there. Besides Rip and Twilight, the only ones who made it were Rarity and Maggie.

Sunset~ Hey guys. Where's everyone else?

Rarity~ Sadly most of our friends had to leave before you got here.

Rip~ Yeah, was last night really that tiring? You slept all through the entire morning.

Donny~ You had all of us worried.

Twilight~ Really worried to be exact. So what happened last night?

Sunset~ Well… wait… what the…

Before I could start explaining what happened, I noticed something about Donny's arms. They were completely slashed open. I tried to ignore it for the time being but I couldn't. For a minute I was frightened about what I was seeing and I could tell that Donny knew how frightened I was.

Sunset~ Your arms… this is the first time I've seen them without any bandages covering them.

Donny~ Well, gotta give credit to whoever made that knife. Without a doubt it was made by a professional.

Maggie~ Yeah he or she is a professional all right. They're a professional at killing. You can see the bone from across the room. Now try your best to hold still. I need to finish this small area.

Donny~ Ouch! That hurt like hell.

Maggie~ Just hold still. That's the second time today.

Sunset~ What are you doing?

Maggie~ Healing his arms. I learned that I can heal anything in anyone's body long ago. This will help speed up the healing process.

Sunset~ At least I know he's gonna be ok.

Donny~ You know it! And maybe when I'm healed we can go hang out somewhere. You know, like we talked about.

Sunset~ Yeah, like we talked about.

Twilight~ Like you talked about huh?

Sunset~ Shut up Twilight.

Twilight~ Heheh.

Rarity~ Anyway, can you tell us what happened?

Sunset~ Oh! Yeah, umm. I may or may not have… seen someone… How can I say this? I saw someone disappear last night and they left something behind.

Donny~ Wait back up a bit. You saw someone disappear? Like… *poof*? Just like that?

Sunset~ Well they faded out into the night.

Donny~ What side of town were you on where you see anyone just randomly disappear?

Sunset~ I don't know. All I know is they're gone and they left something behind.

Rip~ Can you at least describe what they had on? Or maybe they have some interesting features?

Sunset~ I couldn't see what his or her face looked like. But I do know they had long and black hair.

Twilight~ That describes like ninety percent of the entire country.

Sunset~ I know, but sadly It's all I know about this person.

Rarity~ What about what they left behind? Surely there has to be some sort of description of who they are. Even if it's really vague, there has to be something.

Sunset~ I wish there was. All there was is this.

I walked towards Donny and handed him the letter. I sat down next to him as he read every word that was written.

Donny~ "A sister to him and a brother to me. Tortured and held against my will… Choking in someone's hand before he could save me. I tried to tell him… I really did. She tried to stop me… She tried to kill me and so she did or at least she could have."

Sunset~ I don't fully understand what it means but I think whoever wrote this is describing something that happened to them.

Donny~ Honestly I can agree with you. This does sound like a tragic event.

Sunset~ Can you understand even a small detail about what's written?

Donny~ First off, "A sister to him and a brother to me." That sounds like whoever wrote this is female.

Rip~ Something grabbed my attention as well.

Sunset~ What is it?

Rip~ "She tried to stop me and so she did or she could have" That should tell us that she was trying to get away from someone who is also female. But she failed and was either captured or killed.

Twilight~ I don't know what any of this could be connected to. For all we know this could be for someone else.

Rarity~ Darling, I don't know about that. There is one thing that I could possibly connect with something that happened.

Twilight~ Like what?

Rarity~ Do you remember, at the sleepover, when Sunset told us something happened to Dante?

Sunset~ Oh yeah, he was on the ground after opening an envelope.

Rip~ I remember that too. But what does that have to do with this?

Rarity~ When the letter said something about the girl trying to tell someone something, that reminded me about what Dante told us that night. He told us that someone was talking to him while he was unconscious. It was something about him saving himself and his brother.

Twilight~ Wait, I remember now! He said it was Jamie that was speaking to him. He also said that someone was after her and that someone lied to him. He also said he wasn't told who she was talking about but he had a hunch. Sadly it was a hunch he didn't want to believe and turned out to be true after all.

Donny~ Were you all there to witness it?

Rarity~ Sadly, we weren't there. Dante wanted us to stay safe at Sunset's house so he went off on his own.

Twilight~ The only person who would know what happened that night is my mother. Dante found his way to my house at some point during that night. It would be hard to believe if he didn't tell her everything that happened that night.

Maggie~ Then why not get her here? Obviously she most likely has answers to all of your questions.

Donny~ Twilight, is there any possible way you can get her here?

Twilight~ Yeah, just let me call her. I'm sure she'll come over.

Twilight rushed out of the room and into the hallway leaving us all together. The room was getting really quiet so I tried to spark up a conversation at least until Twilight came back.

Sunset~ Hey, Donny? Can I ask you a question?

Donny~ Sure. What is it?

Sunset~ Can I ask for your full name?

Donny~ Why? That's kinda random don't you think?

Sunset~ Well I figured since we can't hang out outside the hospital, then we could get to know each other.

Rip~ So you two were preparing a date?

Sunset~ Ummm…

Before I realized it I started blushing. My cheeks were a bit rosey and my body language was as readable as a children's book. I noticed my mind wasn't in the right place. I felt like I couldn't see or even hear anything. All I knew was that I was sitting next to someone who I deeply cared about or at least I think I cared about him in that way. A few seconds went by and I felt someone tap on my shoulder trying to get my attention. I snapped back into reality and tried to play it off like nothing happened.

Rip~ Yo Sunset? Are you ok? You spaced out after I asked you if you planned a date with Donny.

Sunset~ Oh um, I'm fine. I don't know what happened. It was just a surprise.

Rarity~ But you were blushing… and your cheeks are still red.

Sunset~ Umm… oh look they are. I'll be right back.

Without batting an eye, I rushed out of the room and into the hallway. I found Twilight outside the room on the phone with her mother. I tried to signal to her that I needed to talk to her but she was too busy with the phone call to talk to anyone. I realized I was on my own for this one so I took a few deep breaths before walking back into the room. I managed to sit down next to Donny again without blushing this time.

Sunset~ Alright! I'm back! So…can I get your full name?

Donny~ Yeah. My full name is actually the same as my father's. It's the same for Dante.

Maggie~ You mean you both have the same exact name?

Donny~ Yup. My full name is Donny Dante Morris Jr. Dante is the third.

Rarity~ Why not switch the names around a bit?

Donny~ Our mother wanted us to have the same name as our father. The thing about that was the fact that they weren't gonna be able to tell who from what. So to make sure nobody gets confused, mom always referred to me as Donny and Dante as Dante (even though Dante is his middle name).

Sunset~ That's a lot to take in.

Donny~ You'll understand more later on in the future.

All of the sudden the door opens and we all see Twilight entering the room.

Twilight~ She'll be here in an hour. Until then we have no choice but to wait. What were you all talking about?

Sunset~ Apparently Dante and Donny have the same exact name.

Twilight~ I already knew that. It was a fun fact Dante told me when he and I would hang out after the whole thing with Donny and his… sinister side.

Donny~ I'm not surprised. What did you say to your mother?

Twilight~ I asked her if she can look at the letter for us and see if she can compare anything Dante to her to it.

Donny~ Good. Like you said, All we can do is wait.

Sunset~ Hopefully she can help us.

Rip~ Yeah "hopefully". I want my best friend back already.

Twilight~ We'll get him back. I have faith in us.

Back at the forest with Rose…

Rose leaves her house and walks over to Rick's place to wake him up. She didn't want to break into his house but realized he wouldn't wake up if she didn't. She concentrates on her energy and night travels to the very center of his room. After that she yanks the pillow from under Rick's head and hits him with it repeatedly.

Rose~ Hey Rick! Wake up! It's time to get up for the day.

Rick~ Ugh! It's two hours past noon.

Rose~ And you're still asleep? Where's Dante? I went to his room to wake him up but he wasn't there.

Rick~ He said he was doing some exploring last night. He still hasn't come back?

Rose~ *sigh* Obviously. When I said he could do what he wanted, that didn't mean leave the forest when he wanted.

Rick~ If you didn't want him to leave you should have said something to him.

Rose~ I guess you're right. I'll go look for him.

Dante~ No need. I'm right here.

Rick~ How the hell did you get in here without us hearing you?

Dante~ I don't know. I guess I'm just awesome.

Rose~ Dante, you are to never leave the forest unless you have permission from me. Do I make myself clear?

Dante~ Yeah. I understand.

Rose~ Good. Go freshen up. We have somewhere to be today.

Dante~ Alright. I'll meet you by the fountain.

Dante leaves and heads into his home. Rose closes the door to Rick's home and locks the door keeping her and Rick away from the outside.

Rick~ Why did you just lock my door?

Rose~ I need you to do something for me. You know that pathetic girlfriend Dante has?

Rick~ You mean the nerdy girl with the glasses? Twilight right?

Rose~ Yeah. I need her to lose all hope in Dante but I need you to push her in that direction.

Rick~ What do you want me to do?

Rose~ Nobody suspects you of anything. Not even Dante's best friend knows about you working for me. What I want you to do is head back to the city and talk to Twilight about Dante "moving on" from her.

Rick~ I'm down. What are you two gonna do while I'm gone?

Rose~ I have a girl for Dante. She isn't just any girl though. Just like him, she's a Rogue and a hell of a strong one. She's not stronger than Dante but still strong enough to completely outclass that Twilight girl.

Rick~ Wait, so you want to purposely break Twilight's heart by finding Dante a new girlfriend? Since when did you ever have time to set this up?

Rose~ When I sent Dante out to save your ass. I was able to send a few quick texts to someone I know. She's been looking for a male Rogue that's really strong. It just so happens that Dante is exactly what she's looking for.

Rick~ Wow, I'm gonna head out. Good luck with finding Dante a new girl.

Rose~ I don't need luck. I know time will be the key here. By the way, if you can't find her at her house check the mall. If she isn't there then she's most likely visiting Donny at the hospital.

Rick~ Got it. I'll see you later.

Rick leaves the forest to fulfill his mission while Rose meets with Dante at the fountain.

Rose~ You got ready really fast. And I like the street casual style.

Dante~ I had to look my best if I'm going on a potential mission with my own mother for the first time.

Rose~ Glad to hear that. Let's head out.

Dante~ How far is the location?

Rose~ Not far at all. It's only ten miles away.

Dante~ I could just night travel us there.

Rose~ That won't be necessary. Besides, it's best if we take our time to get there.

Dante~ Ok. I don't know why we have to take even longer than normal to get there but ok. Lead the way.

Rose~ No problem. Just get in the car and we'll be on our way.

Dante~ We have cars here? In a forest?

Rose~ Yes we do. I'm tired of walking everywhere.

Dante~ Where is it? It's weird enough we have full-on houses here and now they're cars here too.

Rose~ Just get in the car. It's behind the house.

Dante~ Alright.

The car gets started up after the two get in and Rose drives towards their current destination. Ten minutes passed and Dante started to grow a bit curious. He didn't know where he was going and he didn't know what Rose had planned. For all he knew they were probably gonna kill someone together. He didn't want to be all that curious about it, so he tried to get even the smallest answer from his mother so he could know something about what's going on.

Dante~ Hey mom?

Rose~ Yes?

Dante~ I know I shouldn't be worried, but can you at least give me a small clue about what we're gonna do? I just think it would go a bit smoother if I knew what was happening.

Rose~ Trust me it's nothing to be curious about. You know, today might be a really special day for you. It's the first time we've been outside the Forest together. Aren't you excited?

Dante~ I mean, I am glad that you and I are out of the forest together but… it feels weird not knowing what we're going to do.

Rose~ Just know, it's nothing to worry about. I promise you won't even have to lift a finger.

Dante~ Are you sure? I don't want to have to kill someone because I'm not in the mood to kill today.

Rose~ Don't worry about it. Just sit back and relax. Plus I'd rather kill during the night. It's easier to get away after the deed is done.

Rose continues to drive the car for another hour and thirty minutes until they come across a random city. Dante looks around the area in complete awe admiring the tall buildings, all the stores, restaurants, the mall, and to make this city better, the city had a beach coast on the other side of the city bridge. Dante couldn't believe what he was seeing with his own eyes.

Dante~ Where are we? This place looks amazing!

Rose~ A beautiful city but also a dangerous place. Lots of celebrities love to come here to have a good time. Dante, welcome to Miami. The area past the bridge is Miami beach.

Dante~ Whoa. So what are we gonna do?

Rose~ We are doing nothing.

Dante~ What do you mean by nothing? You mean you just brought me here to bring me here?

Rose~ Well we've had a lot happen lately and I wanted us to relax before we start recruiting Rogues.

Dante~ *sigh* Fine. Fuck it, what do we do now?

Rose~ We're heading to the beach. It feels nice outside today and I bought a new one piece swimsuit that I want to try on.

Dante~ Oh god… wait, I don't have anything to wear. It's hot outside and I'm in jeans and a cloth shirt with high top shoes.

Rose~ I got that covered. Just wait until we get there.

Dante~ Fine. Hopefully Rick is ok. I thought he was supposed to be here with us.

Rose~ He'll be here soon.

Back at the hospital with Sunset and some of the others…

After waiting a while for Twilight's mother to arrive, she finally shows up.

Velvet~ Hello everyone. I was told that you all need some help understanding something.

Twilight~ Thanks for coming as soon as you could.

Velvet~ Not a problem sweetheart. Anything to help you guys out. So what's this I hear about a letter?

Sunset~ I found this letter last night while I was out in the city. Long story short, some of us think Jamie wrote this somehow.

Velvet~ That wouldn't be possible. She's been dead for a while now. What makes you think she could have written this?

Twilight~ Let's just say we have already connected a few things, but are still unsure about who wrote this. We think you can confirm some things about what's written in this letter.

Velvet~ What does it say?

Sunset~ You might want to read it for yourself.

I walked the letter over to Velvet and handed it to her slowly. I took a few steps back before she started reading it. As she was reading I noticed she made facial expressions that either mean two things. Either she knew what was being said and didn't want it to be true, or she didn't know and was disappointed because she probably couldn't help us. Little did we know, calling her was probably the best idea anyone could have ever had.

Velvet~ "A sister to him… and a brother to me. Tortured and held against my will… Choking in someone's hand before he could save me. I tried to tell him… I really did. She tried to stop me… She tried to kill me and so she did or at least she could have…"

Donny~ What else can you tell us from this?

Velvet~ He tried to save her… but before he could take one step her neck was crushed and she was killed. Jamie… she was killed by Rose who was after her. He told me she had blood dripping down her neck and he told me he could tell she was tortured. Everything he told me correlates to this letter. I can't sit here and say it doesn't.

Sunset~ But what about the last sentence?

Velvet~ If you ask me, I think she's trying to tell you that she could still be alive somewhere. She probably was able to bring herself back to life but I don't know how she would be able to do that. No Owl or Rogue was ever able to bring someone back to life. It would be crazy to say she can bring her own self back to life.

Sunset~ How many others have tried to resurrect the dead?

Velvet~ Plenty have tried and all have either failed or died. Because of how dangerous it was, us Owls try to stay away from it, and those who tried were punished because it went against what we stood for back then. We believed in purity and we didn't think it was right to bother the dead. So, anyone who bothered to disrupt the dead was labeled as impure and was an outcast to all the other Owls.

Sunset~ What about the Rouges?

Donny~ The Rogues never cared about the purity religion the Owls lived by. It's why ninety percent of the ones who tried to resurrect the dead were Rouges. I wish I knew more about this but sadly I don't.

Rip~ I'm guessing they already had nothing to lose at that point.

Velvet~ Nothing but their life.

Sunset~ Anyway, about Jamie?

Velvet~ Based on what I read, everything correlates to what Dante told me. I'd say the chances of this letter being written and sent from Jamie are high.

Donny~ If that's the case then that means she could still be alive. Which also means Jamie might have just become the first ever Owl who could bring anyone back to life.

Rip~ Surely we have to take a look around. If she really is alive then we can't waste time.

Rarity~ Darling, where would we even start looking? Even if she was somewhere in the outskirts we'd be looking for quite a while.

Rip~ I don't know, but I have a few ideas.

Velvet~ Well whatever ideas you have hopefully they work out well. I'm gonna head home. I'm sure I've done everything I can to help you all. Twilight, you might want to head back with me. You have a few chores that you never completed yesterday young lady.

Twilight~ Uhhhh! Yeah, I guess I do huh?

Velvet~ You wouldn't want me to knock some sense into you would you?

Twilight~ No no no! That won't be necessary heheh.

Rip~ Damn I was just about to make a joke but I can't. I have chores at my house as well.

Rarity~ I should be getting home as well. Sweetie Belle wants me to help her with a project she's been working on. As her older sister I agreed and promised to get her ice cream afterwards.

Maggie~ I've been pretty quiet this whole time but I have to leave as well. Healing Donny's arms is a lot more tiring than I expected. Not trying to be rude by the way.

Donny~ It's ok. I understand everyone needs a break.

Maggie~ Your arms shouldn't be in any more pain. Just keep these flexible casts on and they'll be protected until I take them off. We still have a really long way to go until you've fully recovered.

Donny~ Glad to know I can finally move my arms now. Again thank you for taking time to heal my arms. Words can't begin to describe how grateful I am.

Sunset~ I'm pretty sure we all are really grateful for this.

Maggie~ Don't mention it. I'll see you tomorrow when I'm fully rested.

Rip~ I think some of us should be leaving as well.

Donny~ Alright. You all be safe out there. We still have to stay on guard.

Velvet~ We'll be fine. Come on everyone, let's go.

Everyone began to walk out of the room. Well, everyone except me. I sat back down next to Donny again feeling kinda weird inside. I've never sat in the same room as Donny when it's just him and I. I tried making eye contact with him but something stopped me from doing so. I felt really shy for some really weird reason. I didn't know if it was because of the new experience or if I really did like him. Donny soon grabbed my attention by placing a hand on my shoulder and spoke to me.

Donny~ Hey, weren't you gonna go with them?

Sunset~ Oh ummm, I wanted to stay here with you. It's only four hours past noon. I just figured…

Donny~ That's cool. You can stay all day if you choose.

Sunset~ Awesome. Hey… Can I ask you a really personal question?

Donny~ Sure, what is it?

Sunset~ This is gonna raise an eyebrow but… I wanted to ask… What's it like to be a Rogue?

Donny looked at me with a bit of shock on his face. I could tell he was a bit skeptical as to why I would ask a question like that but honestly I wouldn't be able to give him an answer.

Donny~ This is random. Where did this come from?

Sunset~ I don't know. It just popped up in my head…

Donny~ Well… being a Rogue is a literal living nightmare. You have to leave behind your loved ones and pretty much your soul in the process. Not only that, your mind is taken over by a really sinister and dark power. It's so dark and sinister to the point where I heard stories about people who couldn't handle it. The power was too much for them and they couldn't turn back so they took what some would call it "the cowards way out".

Sunset~ It's that bad huh?

Donny~ It gets worse, but I don't think I should elaborate on that. Just know… becoming a Rogue is something that's even more challenging than raising a kid. Honestly… the more I think about it, the more I regret becoming one. I also tend to think about Dante in the process.

Sunset~ Sometimes I forget he's a Rogue now. I can only imagine how things could be for him. His spirit is probably on the brink of breaking.

Donny~ To be honest, I wish he ever made the decision to leave. Even though he did it to save two innocent lives, I feel like letting him make that decision was a mistake.

Sunset~ Think about it like this. What would have happened if he didn't choose to leave? Yeah, he'd still be here but he would also live with the fact that his choice killed two innocent people. Not only that, knowing him, he wouldn't be the same after that. I know I wasn't there… But both you and I know Dante was not gonna let them die. He'd give up his sanity before ever letting innocent people die. It's just the way he is. It's almost as if he lives by a motto.

Donny~ He probably does. You should have seen how serious he was when we were searching for Rose. Remember when Rainbow snuck out of the hideout with Rip?

Sunset~ Yeah, what about it?

Donny~ When we found out about it Dante was furious. He was so angry to the point where him and Rip got into a heated argument together. It was a scene I thought I'd never see in my entire life.

Sunset~ Talk about "Out of the ordinary".

Donny~ Yeah… he refused to let anyone put themselves in harm's way. Even if it was someone he's only known for ten seconds. I didn't even need to know him my entire life to see that.

Sunset~ What do you think he's doing right now?

Donny~ Probably being forced to kill someone under Rose's order. Who knows? I just hope he's ok…

I noticed Donny was looking a bit… down. It was almost like he was feeling blue. It saddened me to see him look sad. Before I knew it I shed one little tear and Donny slowly wrapped his arms around me giving me the softest hug I could have ever been given… Seconds later I started to get a certain feeling within me. I didn't know what it was exactly but I liked it. I felt… how can I say this? I felt… warm… and fuzzy inside. I loved the feeling that came with the hug but something happened that threw me off completely. As Donny was pulling away from the hug, I felt something make contact with my forehead. I slowly but surely looked up and noticed Donny… he… he… he kissed me… He kissed me without any form of reluctance. At that point my heart skipped so many beats. I sat there completely surprised by what just happened. Without hesitation I started to lightly sob to myself while staring off into nothingness. Donny tried to get my attention but nothing worked… it was then he gave me another hug, but… I pushed him off of me then ran away in tears. You're probably wondering why I was crying in the first place. The thing is, at that point… I knew how I truly felt. I knew if the feeling I had was true or not… At that moment in time, I knew my feelings toward Donny were true but I didn't know how to tell him. I felt terrible for running out on him but I couldn't let him see me in that state, I just couldn't. After I left the hospital I made my way back home. It was hard to drive back with tears in my eyes but I managed. I quickly ran to my room then jumped in bed face first. It was after that I covered myself in a blanket and I didn't hold back on my emotions… a few minutes later I got a phone call from Rip. I didn't know what to expect so I mentally prepared myself before I answered the call.

*Over the phone*

Sunset~ H-hello…?

Rip~ Yo… are you ok?

Sunset~ I'm fine… why do you ask?

Rip~ Sunset… You're not fine… I know you're not.

Sunset~ What makes you say that?

Rip~ Sunset, just look at the group chat.

I checked our group chat and noticed there was a small conversation between Donny and Rip. They were talking about what just happened and Donny wanted Rip to talk to me because he was scared that I probably hated him for what happened. After that I got back on the phone completely speechless.

Rip~ Sunset?

Sunset~...........

Rip~ Are you there?

Sunset~ Rip… I'll call you later. I need time to myself right now…

Rip~ I don't think that's a great idea.

Sunset~ Rip please! Please… I need to be alone right now. Goodbye… we can talk later.

I hung up the phone before Rip could say goodbye and got back in bed hiding under my blankets. Minutes after the phone call I started getting notification after notification on my phone. Everyone including Donny was trying to get my attention and get me to talk about what was wrong. I wanted to respond but my mentality was in a completely different universe. So much so that all I could do was stare as the messages kept rolling in. I ignored all the messages then finally decided to take a nap or just sleep until I wake up at any time. At the time I just wanted the day to be over with…

Meanwhile at the beach with Rose and Dante...

Rose~ *sigh* Such an amazing and beautiful beach. Even when the sun begins to lower. The area is breathtaking.

Dante~ I don't feel comfortable out here. Every girl has been staring at me this whole time.

Rose~ When you're shirtless with nice abs of course girls are gonna stare. Also you're really good looking. It's in your DNA.

Dante~ You're saying this is all genetic?

Rose~ Your father had the same body tone as you and was really irresistible.

Dante~ I guess that could explain it.

Rose~ Yeah. And who knows, maybe someone is out here checking you out. That might explain the staring.

Dante~ Yeah I know they are and I don't want any of them. If you like a guy then walk up to him and ask him out. Don't just stare from afar, that's hella weird.

In the middle of our conversation a girl walked up to me with a really shy expression.

Dante~ Hey, can I help you with anything?

Dante~ Uhhh,vdo you need help with anything?

???~ I… I noticed you when you arrived and… I wanted to know if… you wanted to hang out with me.

Dante~ Not to be rude but this is kinda weird don't you think? We don't even know each other. Like, what's your name?

Ashley~ My name is Ashley. My family calls me Ash.

Dante~ Same with your friends I'm guessing.

Ashley~ Actually, I've never had a real friend before. I was always separated from everyone as a kid and I grew up to pretty much become an introvert.

Dante~ Oh… I'm sorry you had to live that way.

Ashley~ It's fine… I'm used to it. So, what's your name?

Dante~ My name is Donny but my mother calls me Dante because my dad had the same name as me.

Ashley~ Can I call you Dante?

Dante~ No problem. Anyway you asked if I wanted to hang out with you. I'm down to hang out at any time. You seem to be a cool girl so, why not?

Ashley~ That's great. Shall we go somewhere together right now?

Dante~ Sure. Where are we gonna go?

Ashley~ My uncle owns a restaurant close by. We can hang out there.

Dante~ Awesome. Let's go. Hey mom, I'm gonna be gone for a while. Feel free to head back to the forest when you want to.

Dante~ Way ahead of you.

Dante leaves the area with Ashley leaving his mother alone to bathe in the sun. Rose puts on her sunglasses and lays back on her beach towel.

Rose~ Heh, just like how I planned it. They're gonna fall in love and that pathetic bitch, Twilight, will have her spirit completely crushed when she finds out. Now I'm gonna sit back… and relax.
