Naruto: Malenia the severed.

"Your strength, extraordinary.... The mark.... of a true lord...." Malenia spoke with her final breath as she looked at her opponent.

Unlike her who was about to die he was completely untouched as he stood Infront of her casually.

When he had first entered her domain wearing nothing but some cloth over his privates and an iron pot over his head she was confident in her victory, she was a legend who had never known defeat while he was only a mere tarnished.

Yet throughout their entire battle, she was completely toyed with as he dodged her every attack with ease while mercilessly punishing her mistakes.

Even after unleashing her Rot goddess form and relinquishing her pride for victory she still couldn't injure him even once.

Falling to the ground, Malenia's consciousness scattered.

A few moments later her consciousness appeared as she struggled to open her eyes.

Her eyes burned as she struggled to open them and look around. All she could see was flesh surrounding her as it squeezed from all sides moving her through a tight tunnel of flesh.

Had she somehow survived? If so, had her opponent fed her to some kind of beast which was in the midst of digesting her?

That would be ill advise as her body was completely infused with the scarlet rot, eating her flesh would be a death sentence.

Malenia felt the tunnel of flesh vibrate as she heard the screams of a woman, focusing on her hearing she could also hear a few voices, although she couldn't recognise the words said.

Malenia felt pain shoot up her right arm after a particularly vicious squeeze of her surroundings.

'Right arm?' Malenia realised, she had lost her right arm to the scarlet rot a long time ago, she didn't even feel phantom pain any longer.

Focusing on her body she realised something, all her limbs were perfectly intact, even more startling, her body's proportions were strange.

Her head was disproportionately large while her limbs were short and stubby almost like...

'An infant!' Malenia realised.

'I am an infant.'

Although she couldn't believe it, she was forced to face reality head on as Malenia was pulled by two large hands out of the flesh tunnel.

With her vision tinted by red Malenia looked up at her Mother who cradled her in her arms.

Three years after Malenia's rebirth. Malenia woke up as she instinctually felt the orphanage care taker walking towards the girls' room.

Getting out of bed, Malenia stood up on the hard wood floor.

A moment later, the female care taker pushed the door open as she entered and looked at Malenia.

"Good morning Malenia, did you sleep well?" The care taker lady asked with a soft voice.

"Yes." Malenia nodded in affirmation.

"That's good, go wash up while I wake up the other girls." The care taker spoke and Malenia nodded.

Leaving the room, Malenia walked to the bath room, climbing a small set of steps she looked at her face in the mirror hung above the sink.

After being born into this world, Malenia came to quickly learn of it's differences compared to the lands between.

There were no runes, no elden lord and no erd tree. Only tarnished walked the land and they used a strange type of mana they called chakra to use all sorts of strange spells using their hands instead of wands and staffs.

Although she had left the lands between, the scarlet rot had followed along with her, she could feel it deep within her body entangle with the energy the people of this world called chakra. it seemed that the scarlet rot had seeped into her very soul.

Looking at her familiar red hair and yellow eyes Malenia felt reassured that although the world around her had changed she still looked the same although a lot younger.

Although her looks weren't very out of the ordinary other than her large size unbefitting of a 3 year old of this world Malenia inheriting her looks from her past life although reassuring to her didn't have the same effect on her parents.

Neither of her parents looked like her which made her father accuse her mother of infidelity and later divorce her.

Her unfortunate mother, abandoned by her husband and shamed by both her family and friends committed suicide leaving Malenia orphaned.

Malenia had several children in her past life so she understood the feelings childbirth could induce in a woman as her body changed, being placed in situations of high stress could make the mother do things she would not do otherwise.

Being the reason behind her new mother's misfortune, Malenia felt immense guilt.

If she hadn't been born, her mother would still be happily married and alive.

With her battle torn heart bearing one more scar Malenia decided there was nothing she could do except honour her mother by living a life that wouldn't be of waste.

That's where her current predicament lay.

In her past life she was Malenia, blade of Miquella.

Miquella wasn't in this world so what should she do?

Should she look for someone else to follow? Malenia refused such an idea, she followed Miquella only because of his vision to create a new age different from the old order.

There was no such thing in this world, washing her face and lightly arranging her red hair, Malenia decided her goal for the future would be to become truly undefeated in this world.

In the meantime she decided to live an ordinary life and learn more about this world and it's inhabitants.

Although she was saddened at her mother's passing Malenia didn't dislike the orphanage.

The care takers were all kind women who deeply cared for her and the other girls in the orphanage while the other girls were all kind at heart although they could be mean to eachother sometimes.

After having breakfast and doing chores the kids were allowed to go to the large backyard and play.

The girls chased eachother around, pushed eachother on swings or picked and arranged flowers.

Malenia sat with a group of girls who were styling eachothers hair.

Malenia sat on her knees as one of her older sisters, a black haired girl called Mai sat behind her and braided her hair.

After she was done she picked a white flower and put it in Malenia's hair, the black haired girl smiled and Malenia's lips curved upwards as she smiled back.
