We'll Be Okay

Ryouhei hang-out with his friends on that day. He plans to invite the girls too but both of them have work that may end late. Yurio remembers about something and asks, “Ryouhei, I want to see pictures of those two girls. You never want to show us their pictures and even you phone doesn’t have it.”

“You search through my phone, right?” ask Ryouhei. When the response is yes, he says, “One of the girls always makes sure there are no pictures of them inside my phone. She is uprising dancer that join various stage plays that make she always alert about things like this while the other one seem too carefree.”

Keitarou drinks from his glass before says, “Do you mean one of them is Rin-chan?”

“Yeah, how you know her?” Ryouhei really surprise as he knows he never mention any of the girls’ names.

Keitarou slightly panic about that but manage to explain, “Both of us had attended same high school before and we were in same class. We’re kind of friend with each other but we would be more comfortable for not really mention about each other.”

The waiter arrive with their orders and that somehow put the end of that topic that make Keitarou really relief. He never thinks he will be the one that bring out the topic. He knows that girl prefer to always really hide about his relationship with her to everyone.

Rin decides to meet up with Aria after she finish her practice since she think that girl hasn’t finish her work yet but when reach at the shop, there is no sign of that carefree girl. She asks to one of the workers, “Is Aria-chan around?”

“Aria-san gets off from work early today.” Reply the other worker who turns to be the one who used to see Rin around since the first one that she asks seem a bit blur with her sudden question without any greeting.

Rin feels weird about that as she knows if Aria already finishes her job, she will tell her through LINE or post at her SNS. She tries to make phone call to that girl again but it only reach to her voicemail. She wonders what actually happen to that girl as she knows Aria is someone that somehow really easy to forget her worries.

She make phone call again and begin worry when can’t reach that girl at all as she begin mumbling, “Just where are you?”

She goes back straight to home but make stop at Aria’s house. She rings the bell and wait for any response, nothing. She guesses that something may happen that make that girl really depress on that day. Just in time, she found Ryouhei who just return from somewhere.

Ryouhei notices his childhood friend in worry and asks, “Something wrong happen?” he somehow could sense something wrong happen right at the moment.

“Aria doesn’t answer my phone call and no response from her house.” explain Rin.

“Maybe she’s still at shop. Her shift supposedly ends late today, right?” Ryouhei make guess as both of them know Aria’s shift usually end late since she has to make sure she lock everything when close the shop.

Rin shook her head before says, “I already went to the shop earlier and the worker told me that she’s off work early. I was thinking to ask her to bring me somewhere.”

“If she doesn’t answer your phone call and no response here, we should just get into the house. I’m sure she is not a person that has excuse of her battery phone’s flat.” Say Ryouhei. He adds, “We should get spare key to open the door.”

“I will take it from my house while you wait here.” Say Rin before she runs to her house. Three of them have spare keys to each other’s house, in case something may happen like that moment.

They open the door and surprise to see Aria lay unconscious in front of the entrance. It just lucky the door-type is automatically locked or she may get into deeper trouble. Rin want to wake her up but Ryouhei already lift her up from that cold tiles. There is no sign of that girl will up even Ryouhei accidentally drop her when reach at her bed.

Rin notices dried tears on her face that make she says, “Something bad must be happen to her.”

“It seems like that.” Ryouhei goes to bathroom to wet small towel to wipe tears on Aria’s face. He’s doing it really careful like handling fragile things.

Rin decide to take out change clothes from the wardrobe and just wait Ryouhei to finish wipe it before tells him, “Wait outside!”

“Can’t I just wait here?” ask Ryouhei.

“Baka! I want to change her clothes and let you to watch is not something that Aria-chan wants to know when she’s awake.” Rin pushes Ryouhei out from the bedroom and lock the door.

Ryouhei decide checks things in the house to kill time. The house’s decoration that really grabs his attention is the glass racks that fill with various kimono and yukata that hang nicely. He knows Aria has a lot of those things because her parent will make sure she has new clothes when change in season.

He smiles when notice there are corner that specially make to put her favourite DVD as he could see some of it are love movies. He knows how that girl always wants to avoid that genre without want to say the reason. He gets sudden chill to see Rin glare to him with cross arms, “What the heck are you doing just now?”

“Checking around?” Ryouhei begin panic a bit.

Rin leaves out sigh, “You’re lucky that she won’t realize it or you may get ban from her house for long time. For now, she still not awake but I’m going to stay here, in case she need anything.”

“If like that I will do the same. I can help you as I will need you to look after her.” Ryouhei think that would a great plan since really curious on what actually happen.

“Okay but with two conditions; you wait at living room and don’t rummage her things again.” Say Rin. Ryouhei just agree with that and take seat at the couch to wait but he can’t stay calm to think if anything worse is actually happen to one of his childhood friend.

He takes peek into the room to see Rin who seem checking something from her phone and Aria still in same state. He says something when that dancer turn to him, “I can’t stay calm stay outside without knows her condition.”

“You can stay here but just don’t do weird things.” Say Rin as she surrenders with him. She knows he could give help, in case she dozes off.

Ryouhei says, “I won’t dare do that.” he takes seat just beside the bed and wait for Aria to open her eyes. He wants to stay awake but he accidentally dozes off since the day just too busy for him.

“Gomen…” mutter Aria as she opens her eyes. She feels weird to see herself on bed as she remember she fall as soon she get into the house. She’s really depress on that day because she get scold by her supervisor all day that make her a bit shock plus her sister keep nagging her.

She wants to wake up but she feels her body really weak and then, she remembers that she hasn’t eaten anything ever after her breakfast. She notice her two childhood friends inside her room that make she mutter again, “Do I deserve the warmness from these people?”

“You know that everyone deserve warmness from people who care about them.” Say Rin who seems awake when hears her mutter.

Ryouhei also awake, “Even you want to push our warmness away from you, both of us will still bring it to you until you accept it. Other people may run away from you but will not us.”

Aria wants to say something but she suddenly holds her stomach and says, “Ne, my tummy really empty right now. I want to eat something that could make my stomach explode.”

Rin and Ryouhei exchange glances and laugh a bit that make Aria says, “Hey! This is not funny! I’m starving!”

“You don’t have to worry about that because Ryouhei will cook for us.” Rin happily say while ruffle Aria’s hair that make it messier. Deep in her heart, she feels totally relieve when know her childhood friend return back to herself. Then, they hear Ryouhei says that he will prepare something and Aria goes to clean herself with a bit help from Rin.
