Bloody ties of misfortune, not red strings of fate, bind some, like puppets, to each other. People can be buried, the same can't be said of their pasts. If the present and future warrant for history to be unearthed, the secrets that are exhumed can be more terrifying than any creature of myth, to devour the residents of the graveyard, who disguised it with grandeur.
The D.O.E holders are mostly all Imperial Regiment Evaluation aspirants. Both commoners and royals are assessed on merit in both the D.O.E and I.R.E exams. No one regardless of caste, creed or birth is above it's stringent measures of assessing candidates.
