Great Demon Battle of Solares: Pt 1

Gerard joined Lee to watch over the battle. Brilliant bolts of lightning rained down on the wooden demons, blasting them apart with explosive force. Walls of flame surge up from the ground, engulfing groups of demons in a fiery inferno. While the mages bombarded the approaching swarm of demons, the other adventurers stood ready behind the gates, waiting for the signal to attack.

*Sprite, don't let the system interrupt me during this battle.*

*Understood.*

Mages stopped casting one after another and replenished their mana with the provided crystals. The demons, sensing the weakening magic, pushed forward, their ranks filling the fields below the walls.

The magic bombardment resumed, but the mages couldn't reduce the ground gained by the demons. Picking up several of its kin, the giant demon tossed them at the city. Though few in number, the wooden demons that landed past the city walls sent the adventurers into disarray.

"Stand your ground! Cut them to pieces!" Lee yelled.
