The WuXain's stood in belief, hundreds of eyes stared back at them, MiMi looked around the unprepared hall horrified, nothing was how it should be, this isn't the scene of the countries most powerful families wedding was supposed to be.

The atmosphere was eerily quite apart from the sounds of the reporters cameras taking pictures after pictures and the soft whispers amongst the crowd.

"What's going on? I thought they had prepared everything, how comes it's just an empty hall" someone whispered.

"I know right, this is so embarrassing the whole country is watching this" another replied.

Mr WuXain shouted in anger "WHAT! IS THIS? DANIEL!" He roared looking around for Daniel.

MiMi's body froze, on the day that all eyes was to be on her in envy and awe, they were instead looking at her with reducible and pity. The second those doors were opened she became the laughing stock of the entire country, instead of the world seeing the most elegant and beautiful wedding ceremony with its beautiful bride, it instead became the wedding of the mocking bride.

Mrs WuXain tried to pulled MiMi away from the scene to no avail, "MiMi darling let's go, don't stand here" she whispered pulling at MiMi's arm.

"Don't go yet Mrs WuXain aren't we supposed to be having a wedding today" Dominic walked up behind them with his hands on his pocket smirking proudly.

Mr WuXain who was in search of Daniel and the wedding organisers immediately turned to focus his attention on Dominic.

"Dominic! How can you just stand there so causally while your wedding is in ruins!" Shouted Mr WuXain.

Dominic snickered at Mr WuXain's words, "pfff… my wedding… I think you're mistaken Mr WuXain am already a married man, am merely a guest". Dominic's words shocked the entire room, more so MiMi.

"Dominic What do you mean by you're already married" her voice trembling as she spoke.

"See" Dominic raised his hand to proudly show off his wedding band, "am already married, so this can't be my wedding now can it" he mockingly displayed to the cameras.

MiMi felt her knees beneath her give way and she stumbled to the floor tears flowing from her eyes. Mrs WuXain dropped to her side trying to comfort he beloved MiMi, "Dominic why are you doing this, if you didn't want to marry our MiMi why did you say, why embarrass her like this, what did she ever do to you to deserve this!" Roared Mrs WuXain, trying to hide MiMi's face from the shocked onlookers and reporters.

Dominic glared at the Wuxian's "you asked what did she do…. Shouldn't you be asking what did you all do?... even now you play the victims acting as if what's happening here is somewhat of a surprise… do you take me for a fool… who do you think put your little friends away huh?"

Mr WuXain eyes widened he now understood what was happening, "all this time it was you?" He pointed his trembling fingers at Dominic.

Dominic smirked contently "bingo".

Mr WuXain rushed towards Dominic in an attempt to punch him but instead his actions was intercepted when Kang Lei came out of nowhere and stood in-front of Dominic receiving the blow to his face instead.

"Awwww!" gasped stunned onlookers.

Kang Lei fell back into Dominic's arms the blow making him lightheaded momentarily. A panicked Dominic grabbed Kang Lei checking his him over "honey, honey!…. A—are you okay… baby look at me" he desperately tired to get kang Lei to respond to him.

As Kang Lei laid in Dominic's arms MiMi's eyes caught the sight of his ring hand and so did others around them.

"Isn't that the Lanxian's family heirloom wedding ring?" Asked a shocked reporter, alerting the attention of the others.

"Oh my god…yes….yes it is" another jumped in excitingly, he couldn't believe what was happening today, when they were all invited to document the Young master Lanxian wedding, they hadn't expected it to be this eventful.

After a few dizzy filled moments, Kang Lei was finally able to compose himself, calming a panicked Dominic down, "am fine… am fine…" he responded, "are you sure, do you need the hospital? How many fingers am I holding up" Dominic affectionally spoke to Kang Lei, a behaviour never witnessed in him before. People looked at each other puzzled, who was this person that Dominic was holding so delicately and speaking to so warmly.

Kang Lei blushed embarrassed by the eyes that was diligently watching them, "Dominic stop, everyone's watching us" he whispered shyly hiding his face into Dominic's chest.

Dominic looked around the room his eyes immediately locking to Mr WuXain, without a second thought he grabbed Mr WuXain by the throat his aura dangerously potent, "how dare you touch him" Dominic growled under heavy breaths tightening his grip with each passing moment. Mr WuXain struggled to free himself his face turning dangerously pale, Kang Lei saw the frighten faces of the people around and quickly called for Dominic to stop. "Dominic! Let him go" he ordered.

Not needing to be told a second time Dominic regrettably let's go of Mr WuXain, he glared one last deadly look at a terrified Mr WuXain then raising his mouth into a smile "yes love, as you wish" he answered as he went to stand by Kang Lei's side.

"Xi WuXain???" Mrs WuXain uttered as she looked at Kang Lei in disbelief.

Again Kang Lei became the focus of everyone's attention, "Xi WuXain…isn't that the WuXain's dead omega son?" Someone in the audience commented.

Kang Lei became uncomfortable fidgeting with his hands in nervousness, he thought he was mentally prepared to face his family again but the moment he was in front of them he crumbled and all his insecurities returned he felt small and afraid. Dominic saw this and immediately held him by his waist drawing his body close to him, "don't be afraid… am here" he lovingly reassured Kang Lei.

MiMi rose to her feet anger now boiling in her, there was noway she was going to make this bitch Xi WuXain stand so smugly next to Dominic while she became the laughing stock of the world.

MiMi looked mockingly at Kang Lei clenching her fist, as she continued her hateful words.

MiMi's eyes darkened as she thought her father was not supporting her, "father!…h—how cou—" she pulled her arm away furious, "How! Can you tell me to stop!… you yourself hate him as much as I do!"
