Alex's POV

I open my eyes and was meet with a ray of light, I sit up and look at my husband who's sleeping peacefully

I sigh as I look at our position, he wasn't cuddling me the whole nignt after our sex, I didn't mind it since I'm already used to it

I stood up and groan quietly as I crouch down, my insides were really abused last night, He got mad when I met my old high school sweetheart even if it was accident, he punished me for being a slut and abused me by fucking me rough the whole night, he doesn't have mercy on me when it comes to his jealousy

it didn't really scared me, but there was one action that I was scared off, I couldn't bare at the sight, he was chocking me to death by one of his nasty kinks, thankfully I was still alive, for now...

I went to the bathroom and look at the mirror, I saw 5 purple hickeys and start to panic

I wasn't panicking about having a hickey in public, but I was panicking that I might get a stroke like that mexican guy in the news

but it dosen't matter, I don't have the reason to live after all, I'm not suicidal, but I'm okay if I die

my phone rings loudly, I went out from the bathroom and took my phone that was on the nightstand

"Jackson?" I ask and look at my husband who was still snoring

I accept the call and put it on my right ear

"Hello?" I ask

"Alex Kim!, Congratulations!, you're officially a physcologist!" He cheers making me choke on my saliva

"really?!, thank you so much!" I exclaimed and he said "it was no big deal"

"anyways, we were impressed by your conclusions and you guessed all the answers correctly, you really love physcology huh?" he teases for a bit and I giggle

"yeah, It's my dream" I said and he laughs

"you're living that dream, you'll start tomorrow, we've prepared your own building since you got the highest score, it's at the lavdehvia st. house building no. 0901, I'm sure many people will visit you, since you're the first one who's willing to help poor people, you're the first physcologist in that place" Jackson said while I look through the window

"isn't that far?" I ask and he agrees

"yeah but... you can make it right?" He ask and I said "yes."

"I'm not letting this slide, thank you so much for the building and for accepting me" I said

"no problem, if you need anything, call me" He said and I hum and cut the call

I put my phone down on the nightstand and start dancing in victory

I didn't care about my condition right now, I'm so happy right that I'm not letting this slide

I went to the shower and clean myself up, I brush my teeth and eat my breakfast that our maid made us

"you seem happy Ma'am Alex" My Old age best friend Maria was the one who only understands me, she's been taking care of me since I was 5

"stop being too formal Mommy Maria just call me Alex" I've been saying the same words to her in my whole life

she blinks twice and laughs quietly

"sorry, you already know me, I forget easily" she said and I chuckle

"so... how did it go last night?, you were a crying mess" she says worriedly and I frown

"it was the worse, I don't really mind it tho, This must be the karma that God gave me" I said as I recall my mistakes in the past

"don't think like that my dear, I know that something good will happen to you someday" she cheers me up but I didn't believe it, I'm full of negativity right now

"I hope so" I said and stand up as I give her my plate

I took his breakfast and put it in a tray, I bid Mommy Maria a 'see you later' and went upstairs

I open the door of our bedroom.

"Lance?" I call out his name as I open the door slowly

I saw him looking at me with an impatient look

"where were you?" he asks, his voice was so deep and dark that got me shivered in fear

"I was eating my breakfast" I told him the truth

"and you didn't eat with me?" he asks in disbelief

"I'm your husband!" he shouts and I just nod, I don't really care if his words are always the same

"yeah yeah" I mutter and sigh, I went to him and sit on the edge of the bed, I place his breakfast on his lap and kiss his forehead before standing up

"eat fully okay?" I said, I was surprise that I said this kind of words even after all the pain he had gave me

"o-okay..." he stutters and starts to eat his food, I grab my phone and went to the window to look at the weather, I went to the desk and Start packing for the leave

"where are you going?" he asks while looking at me suspiciously

"I'm going out to do my job" I said and he spits his water out from his mouth

"really?!, you got accepted?!" he asks as he wipes his mouth

I talked to him about my dream of being a physcologist, he wasn't really interested about it, but why does he look so excited about it right now?

I just nod happily and smile at him, I went to him and kiss his lips, I look at his eyes and ruffle his hair

"Yes and they even gave me a building for my work" I said and saw him smiling as well

"that's good!, what place did they set you to?"

"at the Lavdehvia st. house building no. 0901" I said and give him the note that has the address on it

"if you want to visit me, feel free, but I expect you to act proper in my office" I warn him and he just nods carelessly

he rarely smiles so it really surprised me, he looked like a happy bunny, my heart flutters at the sight

"okay okay" he said and pecks my lips, I smile at him and stood up

I open the door and look at him for the last time, he was eating his breakfast while calling his girlfriend

you read it right, he's cheating on me with another girl, It was really weird and annoying to be honest, he's cheating on me and yet... he dosen't want me seeing with another guy

I sigh and went out, I bid Mommy Maria a farewell an left the house

I open the garage and went into my car, I started the engine and start driving to my destination

It was a hour journey, I've arrived at my place and look at the building in front of me, I went in and flip the board

'Come in, We're Open'

I look at the waiting room that was filled with sits and bookshelves, oh and there's also a T.V

I went to my office and place my bag at the corner of my counter, I smile when the bell rang several times, it means that there are parients who needs emotional and mental help

I pick the note that was on my desk and read it

'first day of work and you're already in fire!, good luck!' - Jackson ;)

I smile and keep it under my phone cover, I grab my pen and notes as the door opened, a little girl and a middle age woman came in

"I want you to lay down and relax, tell me all of your problems, I'm sure I can help you" I said with smile, I gesture her mom to leave us two alone, she nods and left, the girl holds her doll tightly as she lays down on the mattress

The click of the pen was heard loudly in the room, I look at her and said

"tell me your problem."

It was now 6 p.m, people was relieved that I came here to help them, many of them were having trust issues because of the town's mayor wrong doings, some others were having depression and OCDs

I went out from my office and clean the waiting room

The bell rang, I look up and saw Lance with a dinner in his hands

"oh Lance, you don't have to do this" I said but he insisted

"it's fine, I'm sure you're hungry" He said, I gesture him to come with me to the kitchen

he places them on the counter and I look at the dinner, I was disgusted at my dinner

The bell rang again, We saw Francine aka HIS girlfriend coming to us, she was wearing a crop top and a short skirt, she looks so hot, I can't lie about that

"hey babe!" she greets cheerfully and kisses him

the both of them were having a make out session in front of me, I don't know if I should be disgusted or uncomfortable about this situation
